responded by stating the power supply provided with the item wasn't sufficient and to use something else. What rubbish I think they are having a laugh, this is absurd and regardless the unit doesn't work. I have asked repeatedly for the return address and they won't provide return details and have not responded to my request for a replacement. Money wasted!

Money stolen from loyal customers! – Purchased furniture in late February 2020- making a deposit of $808.00. Agreed to wait a month for the 8 chairs to arrive. The company has been bought out by someone else. They keep stalling by refusing to refund our deposit. The order for our chairs has been cancelled. Amazing service! Unique in my experience – I bought a sofa (floor stock) Saturday 13/07 at 12.47pm. It was in my home at 1.30pm the same day. Richmond shop to see if they would be more helpful but the lady responded to me in an aggravated manner, saying the shop was understaffed and she couldn't help me until the end of the day. This is extremely disappointing and would like an answer as to where my couch is and when it will be delivered to my apartment.
Excellent service 'above and beyond' – Excellent in-store service from Jono at the Richmond store, followed by really exceptional care and attention to detail in the assembly of our Oxley wardrobe by Jesse and Jono. A confusion about how much assembly would be required by the customer was rectified with prompt, professional, no questions asked service, with Jesse taking great care to ensure the wardrobe was perfectly assembled. Ordered online and paid and never contacted – I ordered a print online, paid for it and then received an email advising will contact when ready to pick up at a Melbourne store. No instructions! Lied to us about product not being on sale when it was!! – Made purchase in store. Service was ok, however the retail assistant lied to ask when asked if the product was going to be on sale. Don't bother pre-ordering! – We went in-store on May 1 to order 8 dining chairs that had an expected delivery time of "end of June" - That's perfect timing for us as we're moving into our new home them. any updates and had to contact them ourselves to know that there was a delay but obliged as we thought we'd waited this long ..another month couldn't hurt.
Major regrets as we diligently contacted them "Early August" to be provided an exact date of Aug 17 for chairs to arrive; as such 1 week to Aug 17 decided to make contact to make final payment and found out there was ANOTHER delay until end of August.
For chairs that aren't custom made and are just put in shipping containers to get to Melbourne, it's ridiculous that waiting times for dining chairs were going to be 4 months IF it were to even arrive at the end of August.
Luckily we got a refund and sourced THE SAME chairs from a different company and it was delivered within 1 week AS PLANNED!
Extremely disappointed & would not recommend to anyone. It has deterred me from even buying anything instore based on our awful experience!
What! customer Service? – Disappointing, such a joke of a company, don't waste your time! You have to take a gamble to buy products online as they don't have a lot of display in store pay $70 freight as you can't collect and if you don't like the product return it yep that is right for another $70! Thanks Milan it now costs your customers $140 just to shop at your unprofessional store and that's if you don't buy!

to hold the pendant at the position you desire is flimsy and our electrician had concerns over it being suitable or even appropriate. He even called Standards Australia over it - however SA apparently consider this to be the bare minimum standard. It was extremely challenging and difficult to install them so that the ceiling attachment would actually sit flat against the ceiling. And that's where the good part of this review ends.
The other two type of lights are flawed in just about every way - the glass is incredibly brittle and easy to break - the PH4 1/2 pendant lamp arrived broken in pieces, which was replaced by Matt Blatt on request. However the glass in the replacement lamp (whilst it didn't have any broken pieces) was riddled with fine cracks - to the point where both us and our electrician chose not to install it for fear it would break under the strain of its own weight. I contacted Matt Blatt twice via email to find out about returning the clearly faulty product, but received no response on both occasions. We ended up throwing it in the skip as we had unfortunately passed the 7 day return period (which only applies to lighting, of course).
The PH 3/4 light wasn't much better - I broke one of the glass components when attempting to construct the lamp (this and the PH 1/2 come in pieces) and couldn't buy a replacement part - just the full light fitting. The three wires that attach to the ceiling fitting had incredibly poor quality connections so it was impossible to have all three wires actually taught when the lamp was hung. It looks rather lousy. The smallest glass piece in the centre is so precariously hung from the pendant's connections that one small knock and it would come crashing to the ground - breaking into a million small, dangerous glass pieces. Ask me how I know.
All in all - this experience has meant that we will never be walking into a Matt Blatt shop again - the quality of their products in 2 of 3 cases is just unacceptable - the 3rd case only just being ok. The design components are also not well thought out. An expensive mistake by us - don't go there!
