Came in faulty, customer service incompetent
First: my robot arrived with 2 screws missing. Quality control at Maytronics is apparently not functioning.
Then: my M600 is 9 out of 10 times turning on its red light seconds after starting its program. I have been in touch with Maytronics support and this experience is terrible. No concrete help, only empty words and promises. They have NO idea on how to actually help and support a customer. All those emails but weeks later still no working robot.
Purchased in July 2020 for A$2,900.00.
If it works, it’s great. Not functioning at a month old. Non-existent communication with Maytronics.
We have had our machine costing over $2700 for 4 weeks. It stopped working a week ago and getting help through customer service is slow as there is no phone contact and all done by messaging so each reply takes time. We expected more from a top end machine costing more than a pool Filter.
The robot won’t connect for longer than 20 seconds to forty seconds. We can get a good wifi and Bluetooth signal but regardless we get it stopping after a few metre run in the pool. The power button on the module also doesn’t override it. It just stops.
I ...have tried every avenue, including moving the power supply closer to the house. I have cycled the connection through all three wifi connections I have in my home, along with google mesh extenders. I even tried connecting via Bluetooth, all to no avail. Our router is only 10-15m away and give incredible signals even from our street which is more than 25m away. If it was the wifi then Bluetooth would work and we would not have had it work for 3-4weeks. The machine starts for A few seconds then stops completely, when connected through Bluetooth or wifi. The machine was working fine with everything in place for over three weeks, until recently when it’s stopped responding to any commands or connections. I get the message that the robot is trying to update its software, but does nothing but cycle for a few minutes then shuts down. I connected the machine to my Bluetooth this evening, and the connection was solid but the robot keeps on stopping after just a few seconds of connectivity. I get a few lights and the robot moves less than a metre in the pool before shutting down.

M600 has been perfect so far
I have had a lot of other cleaners that didn’t clean as well as the M600 did the first time. Other cleaners failed on me multiple times. Very happy with it so far.

Does the M600 only work via the app? If your Wifi isn't great can you still use the M600?
Hi Sleep Queen. A strong wi-fi connection is recommended to get the most out of the Dolphin M600 with regards to the available features in the smartphone application. Where the wi-fi signal strength is low, a wi-fi extender may assist in boosting the signal out to the pool area in order to make a good connection to the smartphone application.
