which was a pleasant surprise. I give the product 4 stars because when it's working it does a good job, and I appreciate that the repairs were covered by warranty even though technically they could have refused this. But it's not great that there were issues after only 2 years and 1 month.
Disspointing – I agree with all the views and complaints about the performance of the Dolphin Pool Cleaner after 3 years. 3 years ago I asked my pool guy to get me a pool cleaner that would the job and that I wouldn't have to worry about. the day after the 3 years its just stopped working. Like everyone else when I made an inquiry about repairs I was told becasue the warranty had expired that I would have to pay the cost of the repairs. This appears to be a defect characteristic to all Dolphins based on other reviews. From what I am able to gather by the Maytronics responses to adverse views, they effectively say that because we as consumers had the benefit of the product for 3 years that we ought to be grateful. This is an extremely disappointing approach, and of course, does not mean that consumers of the Dolphin Pool cleaner don’t have legal recourse against both Maytronics and the manufacturer. As an experienced class action lawyer, I am currently investigating a class action on behalf of all purchasers of Dolphin Pool cleaner, which at the very least will ensure that repairs are carried out without any cost to the consumer. Best purchase – After Years (5) of dealing with a pool cleaner that did an average job, I finally decided on the Maytronics S100. My pool is 7 x 3m, and in 20 minutes, it had cleaned my pool like a pro. I love that it is super easy to use, light enough for me to lift out of the pool, and easy to clean. Show details · 1

Dolphin S100 just ok – Purchased my S100 after a terrible previous experience with Zodiac/Fluidra and their CX20 that gave up 2 months out of its 2 year warranty. I have found the Dolphin S100 adequate at cleaning my 8m x 4.5m pool with overhanging gum trees. picking up objects which is frustrating and forces you to go back to using standard mesh filter. Reaching out to customer service via phone and contact form on website disappears into the ether - no replies whatsoever ......!!!????

Great Cleaner – I previously had a Zodiac cleaner that was going to cost $700 to fix so it was time to look at new units. indeed. Only issues it has has if there is a lot of sand near the edges . It takes a couple of cleanings to get it all. I also have the finer filter basket and you can see how cleaner the water is.
Usability.
Ease of use is excellent and intuitive. The standard power cord does not twist and tangle at all if you follow the instructions. This was huge for me because nothing could prevent the Zodiac cable from twisting and tangling almost every time.
Caddy
I think Maytronics use the same caddy for multiple models and it's really the wrong size for the s200. The robots tracks will invariably rub against the caddy wheels as you move it and could possibly damage them eventually.
Value - I think its better value than its competitors given its performance .
Great for cleaning pool and getting your life back – I've been manually cleaning the pool for years having given up with suction cleaners. Bought the Dolphin S100 upon a recommendation and I can report that it removes all debris other than larger twigs from my generous gum tree! brilliantly with curved steps on the concrete pool, where I still have to brush. Have been using it twice a week so far and each time the baskets collects all kinds of stuff I didn't realise was in the pool. It seems to run for about 2 hours on a non-programmable fixed timer, which fortunately is enough for my 8m x 5m pool. I bought mine with a caddy and cover, but the lack of instructions supplied mean I still can't set my caddy up properly. I managed assemble the caddy, but not sure how to fix the control unit on. There are no instructions or photos that I can find. Would be better if this basic information could be sent out with the unit, or at least appear on the website. Overall, it has changed the way I look after the pool and has made a big difference to the cleanliness of the pool. Now, if only I could sort out that gum tree....
The best pool cleaner I've had and I've had a few – I have had three other robotic pool cleaners and this one is by far the best. Why? First, the ease of cleaning the collection bag. as much backtracking and going through 360 degree turns, so you can do several cleans between untangling yet still clean the whole pool. Third is it's efficiency in picking up almost everything including large leaves and tine powdery stuff. It doesn't climb onto my steps as well as some others but it climbs straight wall well but doesn't waste most of its time climbing like my other well known brand did. Will it last? I hope so. I've only had it six months and I hope I don't need to go back to the local dealer. So arrogant and should not be dealing with the public. I hope I don't have to go there. But I do love this Maytronics Robotic Wiz.

Failed reliability – Very disappointed with this cleaner. Purchased January 2021 and 3.5 years later it has stopped working and requires a repair cost of $680.00 The power cord continuously tangles due to no swivel being fitted. Questionable build quality – The S100 pool cleaner does a good job at cleaning our pool. However, I question the build quality. After 11 months, there is a crack on the top flap that is slowly getting bigger. I took the cleaner to the local repair shop (poolwerx) to be repaired under warranty. wear and tear". I can purchase a replacement part when the top flap no longer closes, but I think a better option would be to purchase a different brand that is more durable.

Simple and efficient – I bought this to replace my existing pressure cleaner system which included a pressure pump and a vacuum itself. I did this as I had to replace my pressure pump, which I did only to find out the vacuum itself doesn’t work. Perfect robot to clean the shared pool – Having the S150 cleaner for at least 6 months and it satisfies us all the time. As a complex manager in Queensland, lots of people are using the pool and sometimes the dirt and leaves in the pool will lower the satisfaction of the people when they want to use the pool. The simplest thing I've ever used – All you have to do with this to get started is connect the power box to the robotic cleaner and away you go. It really is that easy and it cleans great. For the first couple of weeks it wouldn't climb the walls of our new fibreglass pool but it said it wouldn't in the guide, because of all the chemicals needed for pool startup.
