awesome car! Terrible paint – Everything in this car is awesome for the price you pay, gives you all the features you need plus more! All the sensors, reversing camera, stereo, navigation system. The only bad thing is how bad the paint is and how easy it gets dings! Please fix this Mazda !!!! !!!  Show details

6 year warranty with 3 years of free services and road side assist. Adam Zhang is helpful and provid – Mazda 3 is a very common vehicle and I decided to buy this car purely because of the Mday offers as well as the extra offers from AMR Adam Zhang. I paid deposit in August 11 and picked up late August. Easy to control and low fuel consumption as well as the blind spot monitoring and emergency stop is the key features that I chose Mazda 3. Model Touring with tinted window.  Show details

Great car – Really smoothie drive and excellent fuel economy. Only comparable car would be Hyundai i30 SR and it is more expensive. Highly recommend - quite responsive and has excellent media features, great speakers and really good attention to detail on the interior. Would definitely buy another one when this one eventually dies.  Show details

zoom in style – Mazda 3 Touring got a kick with 2L engine . It accerates so quickly when you step slightly on the accelerator. The exterior is very stylish, it almost look like sports car, and with a colour that is almost metallic red( soul red) and with silver trims ,its a head turner. The interior got lots of leg room, boot is so spacious The leather… Read more

interior gave me a feeling of lux...petrol wise, it is so economical with their new tech "I Stop"and best of all its got a lot of safety features. (sky active) and who will criticise the reverse canera? not me. I love it. The electronic panel will not operate if you touch it during driving. This is really an excellent safety feature

The negative- It is bit noisy in the cabin , seat is bit low for me, and because the bonnet design is going down in front, I cant see properly when im parking forward.; GPS sometime will not work , and I feel it is a bit complex to operate, so many buttons

Family and I love this car – I have not regretted buying this car once. There are so many safety features such as satellite navigation and reversing camera. There is also an alert whenever a camera is nearby and reminds you when you are speeding. The cost is a decent price. It is not a petrol hungry car and is quite family friendly. The design is great and there are multiple… Read more

interior assets.

However, this will not be suitable for those who want a stronger engine because Mazda is only 2.0. The car also lacks a CD player which is not much of an issue for me personally because I use my phone. If members of the family have wider frames and are on the larger size, this car would not be recommended as it is not very spacious.

My first new car – I love my Mazda 3 Touring Hatchback. I've always wanted a red pearl mazda 3 so finally spoilt myself. It's the best money ever spent. I customised the interior with white leather seats and door trims. The car is beautiful to drive and very quiet. The features are current and up to date with voice command actions. It tells you if you're speeding or… Read more

Great Car – This is a great car and I'm glad I bought it. I'm stepping out of a 1997 Falcon with 440,000 ks on the speedo, so it was time for an upgrade. I also drive a 2010 STL Nissan Xtrail. I'll start with a few negatives. Speedo-- Probably not a Mazda issue but why does the speedo go up to 260 Km/h when my state limit is 110 Km/h. Why not limit the… Read more

speedo dial to say, 150kmh. That way the 60 km/h mark would be in a much easier to read position, rather than having to squint and check whether your on 60 or 80, due to its lower positioning where it is now. Anyway. Windscreen--I had the falcon for 20 yrs and the screen was hit by many large rocks I saw coming but couldn't avoid and not a mark on it. The Mazda's screen was hit by a small stone that flew up off a car coming toward me, and at that time being only one month old, had a stone chip. I've repaired it myself but its still noticeable. Fragile screen I'm afraid. Dab radio-- I don't use it often as the reception drops out where I live in the Macarthur area . GPS-- It goes off on its own trips nowhere near where I am. It'll jump to another street on the map or keep going round and round a cul de sac until it decides to come and join me again. I've crossed rivers where there are no bridges and gone over mountains where there are no roads. It has the latest maps, but Mazda service say there is an update coming out to correct this problem. Hmmm, lets wait and see. Genuine Floor Mats-- Don't waste your money on the genuine floor mats. They are pinned near the front of the front seats, but they slip and slide everywhere near the accelerator and clutch, making the pedals very hard to use. Go to Supercheap auto and buy rubber mats with the hundreds of little rubber knobs on the bottom side. You will need to cut around the accelerator pedal, which took about 10 minutes, but these rubber knobs grip to the carpet and problem solved. $29.99 v's a useless $138.00, you be the judge.

Thats what I don't like. Now on with the pros as there are many.

Engine-- Stepping out of a 6 cylinder car I thought there would be a huge drop in power but the 2 litre goes great with plenty of power and good economy around 6.5-7.5 l/100 in the suburbs. Gearbox and Clutch-- Very light clutch and a top gearbox to drive with a short throw between gears. Great fun to drive. Touch start-- The button is hidden behind the wiper stalk, but it is a great inclusion. Hill start--Great. I-start-- Great. Safety features--All great, too many to list so look them up. Handling/ Ride/ Steering-- Excellent, like its on rails, no joke. Steering is light and has a very responsive feel. I love throwing it into corners. Steering Wheel-- Excellent. Everything is at your fingertips. Legroom/ Headroom-- I'm 6 ft tall and there's plenty of headroom and legroom F and R, even sitting in the back with the front seats back. Brakes-- Excellent. Cruise control-- Excellent. Entertainment Dial-- Great idea, easy to use and good position. Dash-- Nice layout and all the info is there. Storage-- Plenty there. Interior-- Luxurious and has a great feel to it, love it. Exterior-- Great looking car, Love its curves, especially in Soul Red. Headlights/ Highbeam-- Very good. Engine/ Road noise-- I don' mind a bit of engine noise, but there's not a lot there. There is some road noise, but that is dependent on the road surface. Squeaks and rattles-- NOT ONE squeak or rattle, hows that? Hatch Room-- Plenty there for me. Touring Model-- Leather seats are comfortable and feel really nice. Dual zone A/C is excellent. Electric handbrake works a treat. Auto folding mirrors are great for carparks. Auto dimming rear view mirror works great. As you can tell, I love this car. A step or three above its competitors, and the Mazda finish is second to none. I'm a Mazda convert. Would I buy another one? You better believe it. Do yourself a favour........

November 21st 2019 Update: Further to my previous review (Great Car) 2 yrs ago

I still enjoy driving the car. Mazda replaced a module behind the dash and now the navigation system works perfectly. A leaking rear shock absorber was replaced during its 1st service under warranty. I am disappointed with the black leather steering wheel which is fading fast. It is always garaged but it has still faded. My 2010 Nissan Xtrail which is parked outside has a leather wheel and it still looks brand new. No chemicals have been used on it. I'll be asking for it to be replaced under warranty when I return the car for the wiper recall. I'll keep you posted.

Pleasantly surprised with improvements on previous model – Our previous Mazda 3 Hatch, a top of the line model, had only cloth seats so we had to spend an extra $3,000 to get these but the new Touring option includesLeather and they feel bigger and more comfortable with a better driving postion. In addition the proximity and blind spot warnings are a godsend in the heavier traffic conditions we… Read more

experience these days especially with drivers on highways like the M1 being more aggresive. There are now 3 anchor points in the rear for child seats, think grandkidsand. The large video screen makes keeping an eye out on the rear so much easieras well. We took advantage of a 2016 plate deal and the effective price of our vehicle was over $6,000 less than we paid back in 2011. Fuel economy is less than 60% of what the previous vehicle used and the bluetooth phone options work effectively. One minor complaint. NO CD players any more. A USB is a whole lot less attractive than a CD cover!
