3pm. Two trips needed. Overcharged travel time and job scope by over two hours Damaged furniture Brought a small truck to charge for two trips instead of one large truck to do one run. Held my mattress back while I debated the final cost, I got 1/2 hr deduction because I bothered to complain. Not clearly quoted properly in the first place. They were slow, couldn’t communicate clearly and couldn’t answer my questions. Neither mover was clear with communication. If I hadn’t been forced to move last minute I definitely would’ve gone with someone else. Do not engage with them! I do not recommend them.

and took instruction very well and asked where we wanted to put things. I thought they were great, and everything I could have asked for in removalists. They used blankets and strapped down everything and handled my furniture with care. Well done guys and thankyou.

But they did - and the 2 guys were right on time, had great equipment and did a great job. We moved all our boxes and clothing ourselves whilst they did dismantled and assembled the furniture and took other furniture, plants and artwork etc.

I’m giving 4 stars mainly based on their speed, they were a little slow but it was a super humid 35 degree day as well

Do not go near these guys – Booked for a cross city move for a three bedroom house. First scam was the truck size, reassured on numerous contacts that truck was sufficient for a three bedroom home. 8. Second scam, movers. Completely unskilled, absolutely no idea of how to manage a move. 'Lead' mover was courteous just not very good at the job. Second mover was to tally ineffective. He couldn't manage to lift anything larger than a medium size box and complained about heavy items (cat tree for example). No care exercised. Multiple items broken beyond repair. My avocado tree, planted when my daughter was born was badly damaged. Trying to save it :( Third scam, hidden costs. The use of a small truck is simply a ploy to charge for more hours. Quote of $650 was already high, they charged $1600. Far out brussel sprout. Our belongings were held ransom until payment was made. Will report where I can, consumer affairs etc....On researching, these guys have operated under similar business names. When word gets out, looks like they close one business, open another. My mistake was looking for a cost effective move. Don't bother, use those with Google reviews and good reputations (Grace etc...). I hate these companies that are there purely to prey on well intentioned people.

Terrible Movers – #Terrible company to deal with# booked Melbourne movers and received the confirmation from them but they never showed up. Not available on mobile and email. My entire plan was messed up. don't waste your time with this company.

Abysmal – Do yourself a favour and do not book these dodgy rip off scammers. “No hidden fees” is total [Content Removed] and they told me took an hour and a half to get to my place which is also total [Content Removed].

Worst company, Liars, Dodgy – The worst company I have ever dealt with. I wish I could give them negative stars. Stay away from this company. Liars, liars, liars. Don't trust their words. I booked my move and they did not turn up and stopped picking up calls. STAY AWAY..

unless it got too much he directed us to his boss [Name Removed], who when she got scared put us back to [Name Removed]. He was pushing to be paid the full amount before the job was completed when their ad says that we don’t pay until the end. The day went from 10:15am (when they said they’d arrive between 8am/9am, and ended just before 11pm. There were still items left at the old house and assembling that needed to be done. He then kept a tv, kayak and mattress topper as hostage. He broke a buffet table, king bed leg, mirror, wardrobe door and various spots, didn’t wrap a single thing so our mattresses were dragged through mud, the other two younger workers clearly have no experience and cannot for the life of them follow instruction. The next day he agreed to “work for free” as he calls it which really means finish the job. He picked up the hard rubbish, convinced me of payment while the two men carried on assembling items. Once assembly was done I went to check, no joke I touched the side of our day bed and the wall fell apart. They had shoved screws in places they don’t go, bent screws so they’re useless, and had way too many screws and bits left over for it to be done.. I told [Name Removed] this needs to be fixed before we continue with anymore payment. Out of spite [Name Removed] went back to the empty rental we moved out of and dumped all the rubbish. Luckily our neighbour has security cameras so caught it on tape and he’ll be paying a hefty fine. Not to mention [Name Removed] and his inappropriate sexual comments and going on about sleeping with a share house mate who then went on to write about it in her diary and his wife found it and he denied it. He asked me not to repeat anything because his wife was sitting in the truck to help him on that day. He’s disgusting. Make sure to get your movers credentials because these guys just hire a truck and hope for the best!!

Terrible, dishonest and overcharged us – They were late and overcharged us. When I queried the overcharged payment I never heard back. They were extended slow Do not use!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! – Booked month in advance, 2BR Home. 8am start, got call at 6.50 saying they were stuck in traffic (?!) and won’t be there till 9am. Waited, no show, called multiple time to two separate numbers, either rung out or was hung up on before picking up! DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS!

Scammer – Think they have some joy out of confirming bookings and then not showing up to homes! It's the day of our move and no one turned up. Called them several times, left VMs and text messages yet no response whatsoever. Complete scammers, avoid and please do your research before booking them or you'll end up in mine and the other customers listed here situation.

Did not turn up – Advised wait for them only leaving 2 families waiting for transporting for 4hours . Very poor service. Called after it turned dark so I refused the service at the time. Would not get anywhere near them since if you behave that way how can i trust them with my home and furniture.

The MOST UNPROFESSIONAL Removalist Company I have ever come across – This company is nothing like they portray themselves on the web. movers, just crammed things in the truck with little respect. I have been involved in moving mine and my families furniture on numerous occasions and have never seen such disrespect of other peoples property.

Terrible hidden costs – Do not use ! Hidden charges - terrible communication. One of the gentleman actually yelled at me on the phone post the move. Please don’t ruin your move day with these people

Worst experience – 3 bedroom moving into a 2 bedroom. New house was a short distance away. 15 minutes. The reason I am reviewing now this late is because I am still really upset the mirror off the vanity it still broken and thinking about it prompted me to review them.

be sent substitute for the same price. I explained that everything was stored in pallets in a warehouse and was challenging to transport by small truck. She convinced me, nonetheless, that it is doable if those are modified for such a task. Additionally, I was told that two trucks would arrive at the warehouse at 12:00 PM; regrettably, just one vehicle did at 2:00 PM.

The situation was completely different; a 3 1/2 tone truck had just arrived, and we had to unpack the majority of the items. The loading process took more than two hours, and the truck driver kept calling the scammers' office. It was all a teledrama, and I had never experienced anything like it in this country. I have relocated a few times, generally with professional assistance. It is unfortunate to observe such theft in a city like Melbourne. My truck driver and office lady were always on the phone, rather than completing their jobs, and I suspected a plan con operation. We waited until 4:30 p.m., but a second vehicle arrived, a 2-ton truck, which was insufficient to load the remaining goods, so we had to terminate the operation. Again, there was no driver for truck 2, since he had parked the vehicle and left.

When I first brought the goods to my house and the truck drivers refused to unload them, they kept in touch with the office and demanded that I pay the full amount agreed upon, which is roughly $600, for the transportation of the goods for a two-bedroom house from the warehouse to a 30-minute distance. The goods were completely palletized and packed. If we had give 10 tonne truck, e would not have anything to do in warehouse, loaded by forklift.

I was compelled to pay the full amount; I had no other option. Again, I had to schedule and pay for another truck to remove the remaining stuff. For which, I must pay at least $600.

My observation for Melbourne Remover as follows

1. Intentionally manipulative scammers operate together in this company, and I've never seen this kind of scamming operation. They all work together as con artists. 2. They don't pick up the phone, keep customers in tension 1. I was regret not having seen the company's reviewers. They are dreadful in every way. 2. I was issued four invoices, and each invoice contained a distinct assortment of hidden fees. I do not understand how these individuals evade ATO - it is time to inform them. 3. Inefficiency; buying more time – looks all work together. 4. Overall, I had the worst experience (no exaggeration) dealing with a Melbourne Movers. SO AVOID THEM AND CHOOSE A QUALIFIED REMOVAL SERVICE. Sam

DO NOT TRUST OR RELY ON THIS COMPANY! Disgraceful! Dishonest & Untrustworthy! – This company booked my service, I had everything outside waiting & the house was locked up. They did not turn up, would not answer calls & after 5hrs responded to say they were booked up & no longer coming.

Failed to turn up – Prompt response to email request for quote. Confirmed day time by both email text and phone. They failed to turn up. Called me on the day to see if anyone had turned up but did not respond to our requests for update. Bizarre.

Very Poor – Delayed in commencing job, truck no big enough to complete job, Office not able to be contacted. Be aware they are not professional and dont really care about the job

Rip off scammers!!!! – Turned up an Hour late with no packing materials, just a trolley. Took 4.5 hrs to move 10 minutes down the road. Scratched walls and damaged items. Charged for stair flights when they didn’t use any. All these extra charges that weren’t in the quote appeared!! Would never use again or recommend. Such a joke, trying to talk to [Name Removed] about the costs. Had a crap answer for everything!! So angry, just terrible!!

Scumbags – ***SCAMMERS***Received a text message 1 min before they were supposed to arrive to say they will be 4 hours late. Then they never showed and didn't answer the phone again.

SCAM! Do not book – SCAM company. Take your deposit and don’t turn up. Website seems legitimate, will call you to book move and answer right up until the day of move then no answer, no explanation, just don’t turn up and now they have your credit card details!

Scammers!!!! Will Not Refund Deposit – I just booked these people, but had a bad feeling from the phone conversation, so I then read these reviews and decided to cancel immediately. I have already lost my $50 deposit that they make you pay upfront, even though it was only 30 minutes later - they also said they are going to charge me a cancellation fee!

as they were too tired . This is a real joke for putting in such stress as moving is already so stressful. They have absolutely no idea what they are doing . Their management team should have a really good look at all the comments from their customers and get their act together if they want to stay in business and stop robbing people.
