Stone Cold Humanity

30 minutes late. Stone cold Hungry Jacks. Placed onto stone cold concrete. Outside our front door.
At night. 14 degrees Celsius outside

Delivery driver just dropped the order without ringing the doorbell and fled. ( SOME SORT OF CRETIN )
Because he knew the food was stone cold, and 30 minutes late.

A $50 dollar meal. Whilst we are in an inflation pandemic.

We won't be purchasing HUNGRY JACKS ever again.

Switching back to KFC whom use DOORDASH.

the blame is the driver

I order using menu log and the driver dropped it off at the wrong address, I called the driver after and the woman I spoke to asked If there was any thing wrong? When I told her, the place where she dropped of my food was not my address, she just replied, that she was sorry, and that she must dropped it off next door or across the street and that I can just go pick it up, and apologies to the neighbours, I said she didn't even drop it off on my street and I have no idea were she dropped it off, by it was properly the last place she dropped food off.

The whole time her attitude was like "why are you calling" & "I don't get paid enough to deal with people" & "I'm guessing you're a Karen" Show details

Awful

Here is a screen shot of the Menulog service for Hungry Jack's.

Ordered at 8:59pm.

At 9:14pm the app is showing 10:30am Pickup.

Called the store and they confirmed driver is ready but wth Menulog.

Previous instances I've had drivers Pickup food 2 hours after it was ready.

Food stolen

Now a days menulog drivers are stealing customers food , the map shows they getting closer to the destination and suddenly the food deliver msg appears on screen , it happens few times with me.
Searched every corner of the property but couldn't found food anywhere .
Plz put the option food recieved in the app so that delivery guys can't get paid until they deliver the food.
Waiting for almost an hour for food and than this kind of experience is so annoying. Show details

AWFUL

Ordered some sushi and at 6:14 pm said it was delivered yet there was nothing outside my door. waited 10 mins, still nothing. I started a chat with customer service and was told that menulog or the driver was not at fault and I would not be receiving a refund. Is it supposed to be the restaurant's fault that my order wasn't delivered? It is the drivers' responsibility to have my food delivered to me on time and actually visible to me! Use another platform

Despite being a dedicated Menulog customer for years and placing hundreds of orders, their excuse for the completely black, burnt and inedible food I received was "this is the restaurant's cooking methods." The meal was charred beyond recognition—I wouldn't even consider feeding it to my dog. This was my 50th order from this restaurant, and I've never encountered anything like this before. The response and service I received were absolutely ludicrous. From now on, I'll be sticking with DoorDash.

Beyond poor service

Recently ordered from hungry jacks to try a new burger, food arrived cold, but because it arrived within the designated delivery time menulog customer service basically said bad luck. Show details

Practices are consistently in breach of consumer law

Menulog's written policy on consumer guarantees appears to be in line with Australian consumer law, but in practice it's impossible to get access to the remedies I'm entitled to. A number of times I have received food that is inedible, or even not received food I have ordered and paid for. When I have requested a refund from Menulog, I receive a response saying I have been issued a $10 voucher (which has never covered the cost). It had been impossible for me to find a way to engage with the company to seek a remedy and they are not meeting their obligations under Australian consumer law. Show details

Food order late, cold and incomplete!

First and last time using this company. Four hot dishes were collected from the restaurant which was five minutes away from my home. Forty minutes later three dishes arrived, pizza missing. Food was cold. What did the delivery driver do in that extra 35 minutes? Maybe have dinner? NEVER AGAIN Show details

Terrible terrible company. When items that get delivered are wrong or stale, They are not willing to help. No refunds, no credits, no nothing. An embarrassing company and I’ll be switching off them for life and letting the community know to stop using their services too. They are worth billions but they are worthless. Show details

Fake status information (blame restaurant for wait when no driver)

Menulog is blatantly dishonest with their delivery status and keep claiming "Driver at the restaurant" when there is no driver at all!
They do this to blame the restaurant for their own delays.

Many times after an hour of waiting with "driver at the restaurant" i've rung the restaurant and they said there is no driver, and this keeps happening to their customers! Show details

Worst Delivery and Poor Customer Service

They don't even deserve this 1 star. Just gave them as there wasn't any -ve star rating available.
Pathetic delivery service and useless customer service. Take ages to deliver the food. NO REFUND whatsoever. No point of waiting for these rippers to deliver the food. Rather go yourself or wait once you are free to go yourself. Trust me, it will much much worthy. Show details

I recently had a negative experience with Menulog. The driver assigned to my order took an hour to deliver my food from a restaurant that was only 10 minutes away. By the time the food arrived, it was stale and cold, making it unsafe to eat. Additionally, the driver failed to update the app and couldn't be tracked. When the driver finally arrived, he admitted to having my food for an hour and cited a poor excuse of losing his wallet. This conversation was recorded by my Ring doorbell. When I attempted to obtain a refund from Menulog, they repeatedly disconnected the chat and refused to assist me. Given the numerous complaints online, I wonder if anyone has filed a complaint with the ACCC to investigate Menulog's practices?
