I’m very disappointed - the unnecessary stress due to the lack of responsiveness/communication and no way of getting in touch other than email.

I’ve bought lots online from a variety of stores and this really is the worst company I’ve come across.

Arrived so quick and in perfect condition! – The metro mum service was surprisingly amazing! I had thought it would take a lot longer to receive our bassinet but it came super quick and the service was extremely efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again online from metro mum.

This book was awesome! – I can't wait to complete this for my son. Capturing those memories is so special it is something that we can look back in years to come.

Customer complaint resolved – Metro mummy, an online store based in New South Wales, resolved my customer complaint regarding an online order after a number of follow up phone calls and the full amount was refunded.

Pretty awful service – I had pretty awful service with my item not being posted until I chased it up and then being so late it missed the event that it was ordered for. It is also difficult to communicate with the company due to their external answering service. My issue is now being resolved but it was a hard slog getting there!

Slow delivery – I purchased a high chair that I hadn't seen in any other shop before and really wanted. I was told it was in Stock when enquiring. Metromum actually phoned me to ask if I was interested in buying it and happily took payment and I was told it would take 1-2 weeks to be delivered. unhappy that I had to keep chasing them up to find out what was happening as they had stopped communicating with me and did not tell me it was on back order. I will be purchasing directly from stores next time and not deal with online shops. Unique stock No communication

Sprout Toybox – Love my whale shark sprout toy box! It might just ba a whale with spots but they are the correct colour spots. Great size. Good courier service. Arrived super fast!

Friendly Service, Quick Response TIme, Product Availability – Terry at Metro Mum was fantastic to deal with, shipped my order very quickly and was helpful when we had an issue with the courier company. Product was also in stock whereas elsewhere it was difficult to find.

accommodating with requests to pool together resources. My gifts arrived the day before my shower beautifully wrapped at no extra charge. There were a few large items that were not available immediately as there was a delay from the supplier shipment. I was happy to wait and in the end the bhrsery furinture arrived very close to the estimated delivery. A seamless and very personal experience. Highly recommend. Terrible terrible service – I really wish I had looked at this site before going to this store. Very happy to take my money, then no more communication. No refund for a product they insisted I needed, but didn't, incomplete order, still waiting three weeks later. Don't waste your time, this is terrible service, well no service better still! They also informed us that the suppliers where in America and it was up to them whether we could get a refund or not, they told us that what we received was an American "single" quilt cover. We ordered over the phone in "Australia" a "single" quilt cover while at the same time looking at there "Australian"website page of the item we were about to purchase, which clearly sated the size being "single" and at the time of the order and purchase we were not informed of any of this information until we received 1 of the two bedspreads we had ordered and realised that infact they had sent us a the wrong size. It has been almost 3 weeks and we still haven't received the second quilt cover. Bad service, they just want to blame the supplier for their mistakes, and playing dum about the product information, their acting like we're making this complaint up!! Great to deal with – What a difference it makes when staff know what they are talking about and actually spend the time helping you out! Hard to fault – I'm a repeat customer and recently went to MM to deck out the nursery for bub no.2. Spent about 1 hour with one f the sales staff and ended up buying cot, pram, car seat and change table in one go. Got most of the goods delivered in 3 days but cot will arrive in 3 weeks - cant wait ! Very happy with the service and price Range, service and advice Couldn't take home the cot the day I ordered it! ;)

complimentary upgrade to express post as we needed it asap. Eventually we emailed to cancel the order and were told the stock was expected the following day. It was eventually sent standard post. We initially wanted it for our holiday, missed that. And then the baby expo was on the weekend and express post would have received the item in time but they sent it regular post so missed that too. We did not check reviews prior to ordering and now wish we had. If you are reading this, don't buy from metromum, they are useless.

They company are inept and useless, avoid at all costs.

I placed order Sat night and the customer service emailed again to advise they had got the order and would be charging the additional courier fee.It was shipped Monday, received the item Wednesday. ago I sent an email requesting a refund instead as I have since purchased another cover elsewhere. That email has been followed up with another two since and still no response!

Avoid shopping here at all costs if you expect products to be in stock, arrive on time or a response from customer service. Good pricing Everything else! Products not in stock, late delivery and horrible service
