AMAZING SERVICE – We used MetroMovers today to move from a 3bdr to a 3bdr - we literally couldn’t fault them. They were timely, respectful of our things and very friendly and lovely to work with. Affordable fees and no issues at all. Would definitely pay to use them again!

Excellent Stress-free Removalists – We used Metro for two moves recently and both times the guys were punctual, careful and easy to work with. Nothing was too much trouble, and they even helped a delivery guy with our new couch. The removalists were obviously happy with their work and it showed. The whole process from booking to payment was easy and seamless.

Excellent service – These guys were friendly, cheerful, capable, strong and careful. Is there anything more you could want from a Removalist team. My guys were Gustavo, Guy and John. Very happy

DISASTER!!! DO NOT USE!!! – Having used several removalists and storage facilities over the years, these guys are easily the worst I’ve ever had to deal with. DO NOT USE!!!! move of a small one bedroom apartment totalled around $1,300 (around 3 hours work) with two guys doing the move. I’ve no idea how to gain access to my belongings or organise delivery to a new address and am seeking legal advice.

I almost consider the experience a scam – Misleading on pricing of their cardboard boxes. I was told "an extra $25 for the boxes, take as many as you need". I was charged an extra $100 for using four of their plain, cardboard boxes. This is on top of $840 for moving from a small one bedroom apartment, three blocks down the street. Great move experience – I was very happy with my move. Laz and Nic arrived on time, and quickly gave me comfort that my precious belongings were in safe hands. Highly recommended.

Exceptional Moving Experience – Chris and Howard were exceptionally helpful with our move today as they were quick, officiant and friendly. They came on time and were finished before lunch time. We were moving over an hour away and they had to take things down a big flight of stairs. It was a big job as we are a family of four and have lots of heavy furniture. If you need a removalist company for a decent price, I highly recommend them. Thanks for your help!

Shanky and Ajay – Shanky and Ajay are the best, they did a wonderful neat job for us and very quick and no breakages, great handling of goods, they pack and they put things where they should be in each room, they are just amazing , I can recommended these guys to anyone 100 percent.

Highly recommend for great service & value for money – Excellent job, would happily use again. The team turned up on time and were careful moving everything and made good time. They were also very pleasant, nothing was too much trouble.

Great friendly Service – Sign up was easy, called before each uplift and down lift to confirm we were still on track. Moved us into a high rise apartment complex and were very flexible working around building restrictions.

The Perfect Removal - highest recommendation – Fantastic efficient effort in moving small amount of furniture, boxes, paintings. Started and finished on time, excellent communication, friendly guys, took great care with everything and price excellent. Move from Berwick to Kew in Victoria. entire day the guys were so careful and tetrised all of our belongings from a 3 level/3 bedroom townhouse. I have some delicate pieces which needed a bit of care and the guys were fantastic and so careful. They also finished sooner than we anticipated which was an added bonus.

I cannot thank them enough for the awesome service that everyone from metroMovers provided us, from booking to post moving day. We have used different companies and we will definitely be booking George if we move again in the future! 10/10 from us very, VERY happy customers :).

that it wasn't all going to fit but they worked it out. Special mention is the way that the fragile items such as the glass table tops and the fridge were meticulously wrapped in blankets and plastic wrap for extra protection. I understand that when services like these don't go to plan and take longer than expected, the penalty (and frustration) would be the additional fees as as the service is charged per unit of time. The guys were so efficient that they finished the job in less time than forecasted as the unloading was very quick. In the end, I actually paid less than originally calculated which is always a bonus with nothing damaged or broken.

I have already recommended this company to friends expecting to move early 2023.

meticulous, security conscious, strong and capable and assisted with the installation of items outside their remit. Most of all they had to contend with a long distance to move from the truck due to parking challenges. The cost of moving was so much less expensive than any other removals we used for the similar items and distance. Without any doubt what-so-ever Pedro Uli and Natan were the best most capable team of guys I have ever seen in action. So intelligent and logistically intelligent in packing and organising the whole move. You will not find a better team and company than METROMOVERS!!!!

I used metromovers previously and was happy, now I have had the opposite experience.

The truck turned up at the correct time with only one mover, I had to wait two hours for the other guy to turn up. The truck was an Avis truck and it felt like a couple of mates turning up to help with a rented truck rather than a professional moving conpany. The move took longer than expected. Several key large items such as artwork and outdoor plants were left behind at the property. The guys said that I could move them myself to save time. I can’t move large artworks and heavy plants myself in a hatch back. There was a rush at the end of the day and due to 2 hour delay I had to drive in peak hour to second drop off.

When I called to explain my frustration to head office, the manager of the business told me that being late is ‘normal’ even though I had booked a 7.30am move and said that I should be more understanding. I was also told that in order to complete the move with the bigger items left behind I would need to pay again to complete the move. When I said that this was unreasonable she accused me of trying to get people to work for free and that if I didn’t pay my account in full the team would not make the second drop. Never once did I say that I wouldn’t pay my account, [Name Removed] also accused me of trying to get ‘something for free’. She continued to speak over me and shut me down without empathy, respect or understanding of the situation and tried to bully me into accepting a substandard service.

Aside from the kind and empathetic removalists, the whole experience was a disgrace.

Inconsistent. Time Wasting. Something goes wrong you're on your own – Great the first time in July 2020 for a move from Croydon to Patterson Lakes. Broke a piece of my fridge after they refused to listen to me stating it was the wrong piece to use. This has now made the resale value less. They then made up an excuse I could get the part from Bunnings cheaply which was not true. Management unresponsive to customer requests for remedial action. I felt like they took advantage of my situation. Sadly, I have lost faith in this company.

move in the afternoon. They apparently could not find a truck for the morning even though they took my deposit and confirmed the previous day. The operations manager called me and couldn’t care less that she changed the time which meant I would lose a shift at work. She pretty much said take it or leave it, no discount offered, no apology, just that it’s no big deal, it’s just a move.

I would never book them, nor recommend them. Their customer service is disappointing. I can’t imagine how they would treat you should something go wrong with furniture or the move. They just simply don’t care and don’t value customer service in a way you would want a removal company to be.

Very slow and damage to my stuff – I would not recommend this business. I moved from a 3 bedroom unit (with a lift) to another 3 bedroom unit (with lift) to the neighbouring suburb. Disappointing to say the least – We had a large house so requested a large truck, the phone staff was friendly. The two movers that came moved incredibly slowly, were rude and would stand in the truck for 15 minutes before moving the next piece of furniture. We followed their truck as we lost confidence in them and found that they went to a completely different Sydney suburb! They then argued with me that it was correct so I asked to pass their order form. The moment I said that they immediately conceded and drove to our actual address...

After telling [name removed] all of this he gave us a small discount of 1 hr off the bill and were told they were new staff.

This was an incredibly stressful experience and I will never use this company ever again. We chose this company because they had stellar reviews online but their service didn't reflect that.

Horrendous and boarding on criminal – Do not use them - they are bullies and thugs - they threatened to hold all our items hostage simply because I questioned why the driver disappeared for 50 minutes - very slow.
