Worst Electricians in Australia – Zero Stars - this company is completely a rip off, unethical, lack experience and do not have any type of standards at all. They charge $140 to attend - look at NOTHING and then promptly give you a quote for $1,000 plus, to continue the conversation. DO NOT USE THEM - They have been on Current Affair and many other times have been highlighted with their complete bad business acumen.

Pleasantly surprised – Jack from the minute he approached me, was a gentleman, he worked very hard, went above his duty, to make sure everything was done and checked everything thoroughly, I would definitely give him top marks for his work, and as a widow, I felt very valued with him, and safe, which at my age is important.

Absolutely appalling service and ridiculous quote – After paying an attendance fee, no technician showed up for the booking and no communication received from Metropolitan. booking times by the operator. Technician showed by 10-15min before the end of the booking timeframe on the third try. Quoted nearly $13,000 for relatively simple work which we had already purchased the replacement light fixtures and switch covers for ourselves and the technician said he could complete same day. Went for a second opinion from a local electrician for the same work and quoted $1400. If I could give no stars, I would. Beware and avoid at all costs.

AIR CONDITIONING UNTI – JW, JD and JT were amazing and worked late to finish the job. All of them were super polite, friendly, tidy and obviously know their stuff!!! Highly recommended xx

Metropolitan Electrical - don’t believe the service promise – The worst service experience of any company ever. Called to book job at 7am. Told 9-12 arrival and call 30mins prior. Quoted $2139 for basic ceiling fan installation! – I called to have a ceiling fan installed where a light fitting currently was. I was told the call out fee to get a quote the next day was $141. I told them that was almost half of the total price of the quote I had from elsewhere so I would not go ahead with their service. Or gave another option for their “silver service” for $1049… We declined and went elsewhere. I had my ceiling fan installed for $300 by a different business.

Massive overchargers. DO NOT USE! – I was charged a $141 callout fee to attend and provide a quote for small job. Great job Luke! – LW came out quite late and did a pretty big job all up. His communication was fantastic, he explained it all really well, laid out the options and did exactly what he said he would. Our power was out and now it’s restored and he did it quickly and efficiently.

Just Dont – Paid 140 call-out fee partly because I was promised that someone can be on site within 1 hour. Waited over 3 hours before someone showed up. “Technician” told me he needs to conduct a thorough investigation (despite already having the information on what’s wrong), and that I need to pay an extra $1100. Went instead with a local guy who came in and fixed everything for under $200 (no call out fee). Show details

Why are they still in business – DO NOT use this company. After it cost us over $2000 just to replace two hard wired smoke alarms I realised afterwards they only cost around $40 each. Only at our address less than an hour. Exhorbitant prices which got them twice on A Current Affair.
