Where can you get Service and parts for MPX 130 BC?
The hose is not locking into the Lance - is there a seal down in the female connector, or is it metal-to-metal?

I've read all the reviews, some say this is made in Italy, some say made in PRC (China).

Anyone able to provide a definitive answer? Cheers

Some Michelin products may be made in Italy, but the box on this one clearly states ‘MADE IN CHINA’. The first reviewer clearly got over excited and wrote before he received the product.

Mine says that it is made in China

Good Morning,

I was just looking at a review indicating that the floor cleaning attachment does not have an extension meaning you have to bend over the whole time using it, is this the case or does the unit come with an extension?

The main reason for purchasing is to clean a large area of paving.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Kind regasrds,

Regan calley

I’d check with your supplier because my came with the extension, in fact the picture here shows the extension on the brush. Perhaps the latest model doesn’t..

My Michelin PC suddenly lost pressure! Very disappointing as it’s been a brilliant machine. Excruciating to open and try fixing. Rather donate money then purchasing cheap new toy, but don’t have budget ATM. If someone knows repairer?

Hi Hari. I’m sorry I am unable to help you as I have not had any issues with my machine.

They arent repairable sorry mate, chinese garbage just like bunnings ones. Have a look on gumtree mate and see if you can find a cheap one to get you thru.

Hi, I have just purchased my Michelin washer and am setting up. What is the C7 hose used for ??

Hi, It took me a while to figure this out (I wished they had a better user guide!) but I believe that the C7 hose is for cleaning drain pipes.

Hi David. I have to agree with sl008au that the user guide was not very helpful. I am not able to answer your query as I have not used anything except the turbo. Hope you are able to have your query answered elsewhere. Good luck.

Can this be used with a still water tank/bucket?

Would you recommend this one for use in a commercial situation I.e a mobile car wash?

I would say yes. I have used for a few hours at a time and no issues. I prefer not to use the brush attachment on the washer. That's personal choice, I prefer a bucket and sponge, but for dirt removal before, and rinsing, it's great. In fact I'm going to wash my camper and car now.

Awesome thanks! I only wish there weren’t so many to choose from! It’s like a Chinese menu!

I'll go with no. It might be fine for a car but if you are doing commercial work you need something with the flow rate to do a mud covered 4WD. Go with something more upscale and powerful. The Michelin range are excellent products, but nothing smaller than a 150 and for commercial work 'powerful' suggests more credibility. The down side to more powerful is it requires more care not to use too much pressure. On that basis the 130 has some merit but you want a wide spray not a needle spray to avoid damaging a vehicle. More power and flow lets you use the wider spray with better effect than a narrow needle spray that could cause damage. A high flow rate with a wider spray also rinses more quickly and time is money. Just my opinion and YMMV.

Thanks that’s great advice! I was looking at nothing more psi than about 1800 whilst being mindful and adjusting the distance the nozzle is from the surface area

I noticed the Gun, Lance, Hose & Accessories are Classed as Wear & tear Items and have a maximum of 12 Month Warranty. Have you had any issues with these after 12 months + of use? thanks

ChrisG
ChrisG ·

I haven’t had mine for 12 months, but all components are well built and sturdy so I would not expect an issue. The lance clips together easily as does the circular brush. Another feature I like is the trigger controls the pump. Let go the trigger and the pump stops.

I don't use it a lot, but when I do it is an hours long job. No worries with any parts at 2 years.

I think you can only to make it draw detrrgent is to use the supplied plain short fitting or nozzle then switch the lance

ChrisG
ChrisG ·

I had same issue. Checked with technician at Sydney Tools. Turns out the detergent only works when the flat nozzle is turned to widest spread

I turn it to the "-" or widest spread and detergent doesn't work. The only way I can get detergent to flow is to remove the lance and only use the trigger end. Any thoughts?

Have you found a solution Marty B ? Ive just bought the 150 BC and it has me stumped also - I just cant get it to suck detergent unless I have no lance fitted so is effectively a garden hose type of pressure - and the manual is useless !!

No joy I'm afraid. Still no answer.

How is your mpx130 working now? Any problems?

beebeegee
beebeegee ·

No worries at all. Only irritation is the U clips that hold the hose extension on tend to work loose and need to be re-seated during operation to keep the hose sections from parting.
