Extremely disappointed with customer service
Delivery to retailer got lost in Miela system resulting in hours racing around and on the phone both to retailer and miela. Getting delivered a week later than stated. Wouldn't even offer a free delivery..times are changing.. customer satisfaction doesn't exist anymore
Good product poor service
Needed small repair on washing machine...new door rubber. Was on hold for 45mins first time I called 59 mins second time. Finally got through and explained problem & booked day for repair. Wait all day no contact, due to incorrect contact details, eventually arrives with no parts to repair machine. Wasted my time and his , not to mention I now have to take another day off work to get it done. Not the greatest customer service Miele

3 out of 4 Miele products purchased, continue having issues.
We purchased Miele combi oven, full oven, induction cooktop, and dishwasher 3 years ago for our remodel. We paid extra to have Miele people Installed all the products, not our contractor, to make sure products were installed correctly.
We don’t cook a lot (use ovens once in a month) but still combi oven had fault stopped working required fix. Induction oven stopped working and needed new sensor. The dishwasher is not great either. Dishes are wet after it’s done but Miele said that’s the way to save energy and not using a lot of heat.
With c...ovid-19 staying home, we started to cook more. In couple months of more cooking, the oven is blowing strong hot air out during baking, and the combi oven stopped working with descaling fault. My 2 appointments for Miele to come out to fix the ovens are over a week from now. I have never had these many issues with the appliances in our previous kitchens of much cheaper appliances. I went for Miele because hearing of good Germany made products. These appliances costed a lot. We are extremely disappointed with the quality of the appliances. If we knew of these bad reviews, I would never purchased all the Miele products for our new kitchen. Now is too late. Maybe we will be able to replace the appliances slowly to other brands in the future. But I would say when the appliances are working, they are great. I especially like to use the combi oven a lot. Doing more steam cooking to be more healthy.
DUD VACUUM CLEANER
I purchased a Miele vacuum cleaner for $890.
On the first day of use it scratched my sofa.
It only gets very light use but after a couple of months it started blowing dust out of the machine and wouldn’t pick up.
I had used the machine as advised along with the recommended filters so I was at a loss to why it was doing this.
Off it went to be assessed under the warrant with me being charged $30 to have the repairer check it.

Poorest quality product I’ve bought in a long time.
Purchased a Miele cx1 blizzard in August 2019 (well within warranty) and had the extension pole stop locking, so as you would vacuum the pole would shrink. Called Miele 4 times before a replacement was organised and posted. This was after being told to go back to the store of purchase and head to some warehouse in Keysborough. Replaced and thought all was fine until the dust canister latch stopped working. Pull canister off to empty and the bottom opens and spills everywhere, drop the canister completely trying to catch it and it cracks. Email ...Miele for spare parts, no response, call Miele, they tell me i am to pay $250 for a new dust canister, yes, half what the stupid thing is worth for a dust catcher. Email again to escalate to a manager, no response. So I’m left with half of a vacuum. Poorest service on the planet. Have since raised a claim with consumer affairs as the item is still in warranty. It seems the only way to get a response from companies is to escalate and resort to reviews! Never ever again... first time purchase, and will certainly be the last!!
Disappointment after disappointment!
Purchased over $30,000 worth of Miele appliances 10 years ago for new home. Reason for purchase - past experience of longetivity and reliability. I figured pay more and have long- lasting trouble free appliances. We have already had to replace 2 control panels (one of which is failing already), one fridge (which have condensation on the back wall - so if eg egg carton is pushed against the back wall, it freezes to the back and is painful to remove with cloth soaked in hot water, failed pump in coffee machine, numerous problems and service ca...lls for original dishwasher (now replaced after negotiations with Miele), the steamer has just been repaired and is now showing a fault, after waiting a lengthy time for parts (Covid was the cause of delay understandably). I have refrained from publicly reviewing Miele as I have emailed them directly over the years re issues and they have responded with fairness. But what has happened to Miele? It was, for many years, held in high regard. It’s extraordinary the number of friends all saying, will never get Miele again and are choosing other brands of appliances in the hope of better value and reliability.
The worst customer service I have experienced
Facts. My Miele dishwasher broke down, needed repair and parts. Rang Miele to book a repair time, answered after half an hour on the phone hold. Find out that Miele charges $179 call out fee this is supposed to include 30 mins work time, too bad if I do not need this amount of time , $34.00 for every 15 mins thereafter. Parts extra. So we decided to buy a new one, which was installed this morning at the time before the time we had booked. Only to find the cutlery holder missing. Back on the phone to Miele, 20 mins holding still no answer. Tried...on line customer self- service referred back to phone line, tried chat line, referred back to phone line or web site, tried website, referred to phone. This is not customer service this is fob off and get lost service. will not buy from Miele again. Another customer gone. Well done.
Abysmal Customer Service - Poor Customer Communication - Long Wait Times Getting through - Lacking Technicians
Our dryer developed a fault. I submitted a work order for it to be fixed 16th February 2020.
It took five visits and $836.00 to fix and was finally fixed 19th May 2020. Yes it was during Covid-19 but seriously 3 months without a tumble dryer for a family of five. You wait for generally 45 minutes to get through to speak to anyone which I had to do on several occasions. They offered a 25% reduction off the RRP of a new machine even though they were discounted 15 - 20% and I still had to pay the repair bills. I have bought Miele for the past 15 y...
Poor Customer Service
Dishwasher almost five years old and very happy with it other than this is the second time have to call for repair.
Communication is very poor with Customer Service, too difficult to get through on phone and frustrating responses. I also did Chat and email, hopeless.
Waited another 10 days after first call out to order part - that’s fine but rang the day before to confirm and gave mobile number to pass on. This didn’t happen so missed his visit. Told to wait another 10 days so I called to get a quote and it was about $600.00. In the end I have canceled and intend to buy a cheaper dishwasher.
Disgusted with customer service
I purchased a miele dishwasher 4 years ago & it has a problem stopping mid cycle & displaying an F14 error. I emailed customer service & saying that I was extremely disappointed that after 4 years( & I might add very little use) that the washer was failing . I asked if they would consider helping me out with the cost of repair but all they did was tell me to clean the return valve which I did. Still not working. I emailed again & have had no response. Poor customer service & I am so disgusted that I swear I will never buy Miele again.
Will not purchase Miele again
My Miele dishwasher has died after about 6 years, the more reviews I read the less I believe the claim that their dishwashers are built to last 20 years. It is quite disappointing. The call out fee is exhorbitant so I will be buying a new cheaper machine with a new warranty instead of spending potentially the same amount on a repair.
Poor Customer Service
Dishwasher stopped working. Contacted Miele service. Despite 3 call-outs, a month's wait, dishwasher still not working. After the third call-out, case was closed by Miele with no contact to see if the problem had been rectified as technician did not stay to ascertain if in fact the problem had been fixed. No quote has ever been provided. Technician has replaced parts but dishwasher is still not working. Rang customer care, waited for 30 minutes and then after finally speaking with a consultant, she hung up. Dishwasher still not fixed.
Poor Customer Service
Our four year old Miele dishwasher stopped working and was displaying an error message. I thought I would use the live chat on their website but they only told me verbatim what was in the user manual (which was unhelpful). Their only suggestion was to book in a service which I did for ten days later. A few days before the scheduled service I received a text confirming the date and time range for the service. When the time passed without the technician arriving I rang them. After 45 minutes I was told that the technician had missed most of his appointments today but they are not sure why. They suggested I re-book but the next available appointment is not for another eight days. I cannot believe how poor this is.
Miele Dishwasher Active SC inbuild
Heating relay stopped working 3 weeks after the two year warranty expired. We built a new house and moved in April 2020 and the heating function stopped in May 2020.
With a premium product like Miele I would have expected a better customer service. Instead I have been quoted the full service and repair fee and still waiting for a technician to come out and see us. We have several Miele products and although I am very happy with their performance, I am not happy with this sort of experience and I consider it a product not fit for purpose.
Miele customer support does not care for customers at all
I've recently bought a miele dishwasher. After turning it on for the first time the control panel displayed that the device is faulty. The store I bought it from said that I have to call miele to get it checked out and serviced. After calling them not only where they disdaining they told me that I have to wait for almost 3 weeks for someone to come check what happened to a new dishwasher. They feel no need to deliver on their products.

Great products, terrible customer service!
I have a $13k Miele oven with an optional extended warranty ($250) and the telescopic runners no longer work after going through a pyrolytic clean, despite the user manual saying they are safe to leave in. I called today to ask to have them replaced and the customer service person was extremeny rude and argumentative and would not and could not confirm that this part was covered. She simply read a script that said a technician had to come onsite to assess the issue, and only then would they make a call on whether warranty would cover it. When I...questioned anything, she got angry. What's more is to book in the technician, you have to agree to the onsite fee which is $179 for first 30mins and $34 for every 15 mins. I refused to accept that as this should be covered under warranty (the extended warranty even supposedly covers wear and tear), and as such cannot have this fixed. I was eventually put on hold and left there to wait after I asked to speak to a team leader. What a joke! All I need is some oven runners to be posted out to me.

MIELE rangegood disappointing rangehood
I purchased this item. While it is impressive, for the price iTs not justified as the buttons on the front began cracking after 3 years of minimal,gentle use.
We are a young couple whom take pride in our items and we dont even use the unit much. If the cheapest components are failing after this short time then I fear for the rest of the unit.
If i paid several hundred dollars for the item i would understand but this is a $7000 up item.
Miele would not offer any support other than asking for more money to send someone out to quote on repairs and...
Miele customer service recommendations
My cat & Dog vacuum broke after about 5 years and the model I wanted was discontinued so I called the customer service desk and she recommended I buy the bag less version of the cat & dog (red vacuum in their range) which I did costing me $600 and the brush attachment to the new one is TERRIBLE! It’s got short bristles and is connected to the shorter section of the vacuum hose so it’s near impossible to reach high places and tricky areas without having the whole machine at close range. Tried to find the brush attachment that my old vacuum had a...nd to buy it’s so expensive, for the amount I’ve already paid for the vacuum I don’t wish to fork out more. The suction works amazingly and I’m hoping this model last longer than the other one but definitely disappointed in the brush attachment.

Probably the worst customer service experience of my life
I have been waiting on an order of TwinDos detergent for a month (their website lists expected delivery time as within 5-7 business days +2-3 for COVID delays). Given the circumstances I decided not to reach out about the order as early as I usually would and waited until Wednesday this week. I was promised the order was arriving today. The postman arrived an hour ago with some other parcels but not the Miele order. It is frustrating because I've now run out of the TwinDos detergent and cannot do another load of washing. I then called the custo...mer service center. I was told that the company takes absolutely no responsibility for the delay in shipping (AusPost tracking information has logged no new actions since May 6th) and that it was up to me to chase up the order. While I understand that Miele does not control AusPost, I was shocked with the total lack of initiative to do anything to assist me with this issue. I've never been told before that shipping which is organised by the seller is somehow not their responsibility. I would expect that a quality, expensive brand such as Miele would take steps to satisfy the customer. Maybe send out a replacement order or follow up with AusPost on my behalf? Awful. I'm about to buy a new dryer, but it won't be a Miele anymore.

I just read the reviews. Buyer satisfaction is definitely dropping and so is Miele’s reputation. Disgusting people wait so long, have call out fees on machines that boast 20 yrs longevity. The call out fees should be covered in the expense of the machines in the first place. This is a standard you would expect with cheaper inexpensive throw away brands. All I can say is word gets around and reputation can make or break companies. Appalling customer service. And there is no sincerity in your apology or you would have fixed these issues. You may as well be a chat bot apologising. I’ll be spreading the word.

Hello miele representative, I bought a miele dishwasher a new one, after the first one only four years old broke down. It was delivered and installed this morning 12/06/20 without the cutlery holder. I rang I held for 20 minutes on the phone, because I have nothing else to do with my life. I went to the online site, which sends you back to the phone number. I had an online chat which sent me back to the phone number. Still holding. What a useless system. Very unimpressed. Carol

Hi Joel we have had a problem with the water hose on g692sc plus dish washer leaking in to the cupboatdswe have had it fixed by miles previously but it has started leaking again can you give us some idea how to fix it thanks Tony
