I purchased a Miele dishwasher model G4930U from Harvey Norman on 3/12/19. The 1st service call was on 2/9/25, the machine was not quite 6years old. much for German Engineering, quality and longevity! I called Miele and although they apologised, they were only prepared to book a service call. I expected better and considering it's only gets used 4 -5 times a week. I am very disappointed with this dishwasher and do not recommend it.

Shocking after care and repairs service – Customer service was awful! For a high quality luxury brand they could make some serious improvements to their customer service. When asked to be put through to the manager I was told that it wouldn’t be possible and when asked to be put through to the complaints line I was advised they don’t have one. There is no way of escalating issues that haven’t been handled appropriately. Very disappointed and extremely frustrating!!!

as the top drawer can adjust, and it adjusts on an angle, not just up and down. This dishwasher has honestly been one of the best I have ever owned, over 30years. It washes everything really well. I have now had this product for 12mths. And has different programs that are functional. I also use the Miele products too. Tablets, dishwasher cleaner etc. I cannot recommend this dishwasher highly enough.

Still learning about this machine. Store. Karrinyup WA. Excellent presentation and products on display. Be careful you’ll get hooked on their products. Staff. Always well presented and very courteous, great product knowledge except for some of the finer technical details however they were able to obtain the answers to my queries. We were mostly served by Anne L. Who is a great ambassador to the Miele brand. She could not do enough to be helpful with added anecdotal notes of her personal experiences using these products. A very genuine lady.

So it wasn't what we expected, but no other choice? So we agreed. Then it seemed to me that the interest in the conversation with me had surprisingly changed. I was informed in detail about the ALL cost of Miele service! This part of conversation was detailed and really on Miele top high level.

After 8 days, we received a message that the technician would not arrive. No apology just message we call you back back.

We are very unhappy this is not acceptable, not from very top line appliances company. So, be ashamed, Miele.

be some other error that their technician will have to confirm. The technician is supposedly available on 14th October 2025 which I am completely unhappy with. I asked them to prioritise it and they shared the details of another service provider (not Miele technician). I called this new service provider to find out that they don't even service our area (we don't even live too far from the city). Went back to the Miele support and now they said they will try to send someone tomorrow. The technician will check the machine and see if it's repairable. Now the question is, WHY should I have a repaired dishwasher within the first 10 days of purchase. I did not pay for a refurbished machine but for a NEW machine.

With all this pathetic experience with such an overly expensive shitbox, I would never recommend Miele to any of my friends or family. They have ZERO regard for their customer. Get any other brand that values the customer. They guarantee the product quality for 10 years when the product could not work for 10 days.

I am more keen on throwing this dishwasher away and getting a new one. Sub-standard product, service and ownership.

A big disappointment. This is not a trusted and reliable brand. Very bad customer service. After using the washer/dryer for 1.5 years, there’s a problem with the buzzer. Called CS to fix it a month ago while my machine was still under warranty. A technician came the coming week and did a quick job. Same problem after he left. Had to call again.… Read more

But the CS seemed not to understand the whole situation. Wasting my time trying to troubleshoot and apparently my machine has to be replaced with some parts. Not easily got another appointment, and the technician said has ordered the parts for replacement. Unfortunately, the technician was called in sick on the repair day. No one was in touch to rebook. Called CS again, put me on hold for half an hour and eventually cut my line. It’s totally a joke to me. They are very good at putting the customers in a miserable situation. My machine is still not being fixed after a month since I contacted them. Please don’t waste your money, time and energy on this brand. I really regret buying a Miele.

 Follow-up  · As I think I mentioned, the fault was largely mine. At Miele’s end the first two consultants didn’t have the answer. The third did, immediately.

obsolete model. After I realised that asked can they send me a correct one. No they can't. I have to go back to the retailer for that. Anyway they retailer saved the day 4 mins over the phone time fixed. Yeah Betta.

 Follow-up  · The retailer was contacted several times to provide a manual. The manual took over 3 weeks to arrive. When the manual arrived it was in a photocopy format the font was 5. O this size does not allow anyone to read without magnifying. Fortunately my retailer Betta came to the rescue and provided the correct manual and sizing.

circulation pump and causing that to fail, leaving an F14 error and a total of $1,100 of spare parts and labour to fix everything. Obviously not worth it when the plastic on the drawers is also coming off. Very very disappointed and will never buy a Miele product again.

 Follow-up  · Not possible to fix the F14 error without spending a lot of money. The Miele has been replaced with a new semi integrated Bosch. Let's see if this lasts as long as it should.

Customer service was incredibly good. I made 2 phone calls to Miele Service, my front load washer door was locked, with clothes inside, showing an F11 error. Was advised by Maria and Elyn (think that’s how her name is spelled), on possible causes and how to rectify error. Worked like a charm. Very knowledgeable and very polite girls. Thank you, saved me a call out fee etc. Can’t want more than that today. Thanks.

technician to attend my house for over a month now. I had service agent attend and they could not fix it and could help . I also accepted it was before Xmas and they cancelled the appointment the day before they were booked to attend to my washing machine . I rebooked another Miele service and again I have waited over 2 weeks and now again they have cancelled the day before attending. I have expressed to them that their service agents do not know what the problem is and they told me they need the program to log into which they don’t have . This service is beyond poor and if you can sell a product in an area then you can service in that area . I even requested to take the washing machine to them so I can get it repaired

We have a Miele washing machine and dryer for 13 years at our beach house. It has had limited use and both have had problems and finally the washing machine died today. Our ‘cheap’ LG units at the city dwelling has been flawless. Here we thought buying quality would mean long term value. Don’t waste your money on perceived quality on Miele.

home they couldn't deliver and I had to wait for next available timeframe. When that finally came, I was told that they couldn't install for me because they couldn't lift the washing machine and dryer off the floor. That it would void the warranty if they did it. If I lifted it then the warranty wouldn't be voided. That make ZERO sense to me.

There were also communication challenges during the interaction, which at times made it difficult to clearly understand the responses. This affected the efficiency of the support provided and led to unnecessary delays.

It has been very time-consuming having to repeatedly call, re-explain the situation, and push for an earlier service appointment. For a premium brand like Miele, this level of service is disappointing.

I would also like to note that the service quality among partners seems inconsistent. Some, such as Sydney Appliances, were professional and helpful, but others showed very poor attitude and did not appear willing to genuinely assist or resolve the issue.

I hope Miele can improve its customer service approach and ensure more consistent service quality across all partners.

also spoke to a customer advocate regarding a warranty claim on a washing machine that I had and they reassured me that this order was on hold waiting for the new build and there was no issue.

Today I got a RUDE call from Miele DEMANDING FULL PAYMENT and was dictated that delivery will take place on 31st March! Our house hasn’t even started yet. We have been keeping Miele upto date and endlessly assured no issue holding off.

Clearly a SCAM as they no don’t want to honour the sale of 10% off and 10 year warranty insisting that payment is to be made in full immediately or the order will be cancelled. You would think with a $100,000 order that they would show some gratitude and not be so dictative and rude.

Considering how expensive Mieke appliances are compared to immediate competitors it is of poor taste for them to encourage people to cancel their order. There are so many other superior brands with better technology better aesthetics and read more reasonable pricing worth considering I have a strong fear that Miele is pulling out of Australia and can’t honour it obligations sales as they seem desperate to receive payments asap because their warehouse is over full, perhaps that’s because nobody is buying your products now they are being treated like I am today

In my opinion it is absurd to be dictated to and forced to make a payment on a product for a home that isn’t ready yet. Where are you going to deliver these products to an empty block of land? LOL

0/10 I will be taking my $73k purchase and going through somebody else considering how many warranty claims I’ve had against my existing Miele products I’m more than happy to ditch the scammers in my opinion.

Customer service is an absolute zero. Dont be ripped off. The appliance itself is fine, but forget about any Customer service, nor the lure of a rebate after a service if you buy a new machine. I could go on, and am happy to do so, but Miele Australia is an absolute disgrace. Possibly illegal and fraudulent.

materials and/or manufacturing (2 dishwashers and 1 induction cooktop). A 42% failure rate. The problem with one dishwasher was serious enough for Miele to eventually replace it. With all 3 issues Miele has been difficult to deal with, and extreme persistence was required to achieve resolution. The last dishwasher developed rust in the door 3 years from purchase. I phoned Miele Customer Support 6 times, spending over 5 hours on the phone. Each time I was unable to progress resolution with Customer Care who refused to connect me with anyone who could resolve the issue. On two occasions they agreed to transfer me to the resolution Centre but on both occasions, I was left on the line for more than 30 minutes until I hung up. When Miele undertook to phone me back, they never did. Miele Customer resolution did not reply to emails and when I asked why I was informed my email had been referred to a staff member who had gone on leave. Miele customer service is the worst customer care service I have ever experienced. Their products and customer service do not meet premium standards.

replacement is expensive ( nearly 2200)which I accepted. What I don’t accepte is that the kitchen cabinet has to be removed and modified to fit this 1 cm difference. To date I have had to have an electrician to find the fault when the original one imploded, back again to check measurements. Then I’ve had a kitchen guy who says the cabinet has to be removed and modified and I can see this is the only solution. Still waiting for a quote on this which I know will be a lot. No other brand fits this space or I would do it. Why can’t Miele make a replacement product he same size as the original so it’s just a drop in. I spoke to support and it was useless. To date I have owned the following Miele products, washing machine , vacuum cleaner, coffee machine, 2 dishwashers,oven and steam oven and of course the rangehood. Doesn’t the R and D at Miele talk to marketing? I am furious that I have spent so much money on Miele products and this is what they do. I’m writing this review out of pure frustration as it’s impossible to talk to any one who can speak to you on the phone.

this is impossible for me. And now I have lost the second spring filter at the base of the cylinder. Honestly I am not a Miele fan. My partner swears by Miele, but we have spent over $10,000 on Miele products, and managed to have issues with EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT.

If anything, the plug in vacuums WITH a bag, is the prize product. Everything else is sadly trash.

sent again, as he was beyond useless. A key example him telling me that the problem with our dishwasher was that we were putting the plates in too clean. Can you imagine??! I rang the service help desk (again) and unfortunately had to deal with one of the most condescending people I have ever had to talk to. Got absolutely nowhere and was told that there must be a problem with our plumbing, despite me explaining we have lived in the house with a dishwasher for over 13 yrs and never had a problem before. To move forward, we had to get a plumber out at our own expense and 2 mins and $300 later he told me there was a massive kink in the tubing, hence why it keep malfunctioning. Never again! So expensive and definitely not worth the money or the appliances or having to deal with the rude, incompetent people that work within the company.

looking piece of kit compared to all the plastic fantastic bedazzles and build quality is amazing.

I reviewed Choice and all the other sponsored sites and if you read through the spin, bang for buck, this is Miele is a real chance.

The in shop test carpets were the first sign that this little beauty has more to offer than old mate sale guy is letting on.

Being convinced of what it has to offer and at such an affordable price, I took the dip.

So, in real world floor time, it gives everything hoped for. Sure its a small unit and smaller battery, but it digs deep. Deeper than our corded Bosch powerhouse with powerhead, deeper than good old hoover hot box, truly amazing.

Battery life, possibly 50% better than hoped and so much grunt with it, no need for the boost button.

Transition from carpet to hard floor is seamless with the electrobrush system. For $288 on special, its insane.

Let’s wait and see in the longer term, but I full confidence in this cheap and cheerful piece of kit.

 Follow-up  · one month on and it's all positive, whilst it won't do a 2 bedroom apartment on one charge - a small top up whilst doing the toilets - it gets out the door. Dustbin is ample, another 100ml would be perfect to match battery life on a normal clean. It gets everywhere I need, notably the couches and underneath with ease. I just cannot fault it in any way.
