paid over $300 and don’t regret the investment. It’s never let me down, does a deep clean and only in recent weeks has the retraction on the power cable slowed down a little. I won’t hesitate to get another miele when it’s time for a replacement.

Excellent Machine – This has been a real workhorse. Cursed when my wife paid $300+ for a vacuum cleaner. We used it nightly to clean up builder dust / rubble when we did a house extension. I hate it but it won't give up – I hate this machine because it blows hot air straight up at you- That's why I've just taken a break to write this review. almost impossible to get the hose and tubes apart if I want to change the nozzle. I wish it would burn out so I could get a new one but it keeps on going. I suppose the fact that it never seems to give up the ghost. It would be pleasant to operate if you lived in a cold climate.- good way of drying your hair as you do your housework! Hoover vacuum which I have to admit was cheap and so was the quality. It lost suction almost straight away and had to replace the filters all the time which in the end were costing more than the vacuum. So I threw it out and bought a Miele. What a difference! I just love it! It has a great suction and is so easy to move around the house. The vacuum bags are excellent quality. Great price for a great vacuum cleaner. Like the comment below, the plastic top lid which covers the tools can sometimes pop up and have to make sure it is pushed very firmly down.

Excellent – Just bought a new one - my husband decided to hook my 2 year old vacuum up to his sander and it broke. This machine is not a commercial machine because the filter cannot take the fine particles or gyprock and timber as it is being sanded. one and loves it also. Great brand, works really well and has a 'silent' function on it too, so you can vacuum after the kids go to bed. Everything - just bought the next model (same as this but model S5211). Loved my old one, great and good value for money. Nothing really, maybe the top sometimes feels a little flimsy, but if you look after it, not really a drama.

Good – The machine has the best performance of any previous vacuum cleaners that I have owned but I do have a real problem with the static shocks which I have never experienced with any other cleaners. Brilliant suction especially with 2 german shepherds. Have severe static shock from handle - nobody can explain why.

Bad – This product was great in meeting my families needs and is excellent in getting the job done. It has lasted us a very long time and was a very smart investment. I could not be more pleased. Good looking Small

Fantastic & I thought my house was clean before!! – I am extremely impressed with this vaccum cleaner, strong suction and easy to use. I am amazed at how much dirt this picked up and how nice the carpets are to walk on after use with the pile all lifted, have never experienced THAT before. A real pleasure! Very efficient! Not my colour but who cares about that when it works!

multi purpose cleaner. We have a Himalayan cat which leaves a lot of fur everywhere & have no problems cleaning all his loose fur up easily.

Also, I was impressed by the overheating auto turn off to protect the motor, it could have been a disaster as I had let the bag overfill but luckily all was well, when I changed the bag & let the vacuum cool down.

I also love the clip to attached the nozzle to the cleaner for storage Take care to make sure you change the surface head switch before cleaning polished boards as it will scratch if left on the carpet setting. Not really a con but something to be aware of.

Excellent – I love it. I wish I had bought it earlier instead of wasting $200 on a rechargeable hand held Dyson. The other plus was we got it for $299 (RRP is $429) through Shopright. else. However we also have a Jack Russell who sheds so much hair he should be bald and he is an indoor dog. The S 5210 makes cleaning the whole house a breeze and sucks up all the wiry little hairs. In fact I think the floors are cleaner compared to using my ENJO fibres. As one reviewer said be careful when changing from carpet to hard floor, but that is so easy, just step on the head lightly with your foot. I'd like a non disposable bag option, similar to what electrolux have for the times when you just run out of disposable bags.

where it should be, facing the right way so you just get on with it. The telescopic poles are great - so easy to contract when you're putting it in a cupboard. Bags are really easy to change, and better than emptying a bagless cleaner in my opinion. Very happy with this purchase, I'd recommend it. Great sucking power.

Telescopic metal pipes glide in and out easily, and things click together really easily.

Good attachments. If the cord gets pulled out of the powerpoint the metal spike things on the plug sometimes bend a bit.

the quietest vacuum I've ever used. The 'silent' setting is a misnomer, it's not silent, but it sounds about as noisy as someone using a hairdryer in another room, rather than the aircraft-noise like roar of my old volta.

You can buy it online for about $350 - totally worth the extra few $ in my opinion. Very strong suction, light and easy to move around, much better value than a dyson need to replace bags, and must remember to order them online in advance as can be hard to find in stores. Floor head is a bit rattly on the hard floors setting, although might just be I notice it more as he motor is so quiet

other brands which are all made in China. It is definitely worthwhile to get a miele vacuum. I compared it with the reviews of the dyson vacuum and am glad that I went with a miele. I am sure this will last us forever!

Excellent – This is the best vacuum cleaner I've had so far. The dust bag is big too so you don't have to change the bag too often. The wheels are on the bottom, not on the sides, like most, it's extremely easy to steer and don't feel the weight at all. I'm personally VERY HAPPY with this one! Easy to move, adjustable length handle, sound is not so high pitch, sturdy Takes more space for storage compared to smaller vacuums.

keep unplugging it and moving it like my old vacuum cleaner. Great suction, glides well, mulitple settings & attachments, dust bag is of excellent quality and lasts a long time. It's heavy which makes vacuuming stairs harder than with my old vac, you have to buy dust bags for it.

Excellent – Fantastic vacuum! I would recommend to anyone. For a medium price range vacuum (300 - $400) it performs outstanding. Can be purchased via internet shopping at a discounted price. Excellent suction power; easy to adjust from low to high to suit your floor surface. The unit is lightweight; glides over the floor easily and is effortless to lift up/down stairs and in/out of cupboard. New bags can be purchased over the internet.

good price in the mid to late $300 price range. Great vacuum, has very good suction and leaves floorboards and carpets feeling extremely clean. The handle goes into a slot on the side, making it easy to pack away. None, other than having to replace the vacuum bags.

Excellent – If I need to buy a new vacumm or recommend one, I'll recommend Miele. Love what I own now. A very powerful, quite and efficient vacumm cleaner. The best I had in 10 years. reverted to using my 25 year old General Electric before buying the Miele. The Miele has now been in constant use for 18 months and I wouldnt swap it for any other. Very powerful suction, quiet motor, quality tools, kink proof hose, on-board tools. Particularly like the telescopic wand as I am tall and find that I dont have to stoop to use this cleaner - it saves my back! Sometimes the plastic cover to the tool compartment pops open and can catch under furniture.

cleaner. Very powerful, reasonably priced, glides beautifully along the floor, never tips, feels very sturdy and solid. Long cord too. Quite heavy to lift the whole machine but it does feel solid - not all plastic like others.

Good value. I thoroughly recommend this vacuum cleaner. It has excellent suction. Easy to use on stairs as it can operate upright as well as conventional way. Wheels spin in all directions very smoothly. slots together nicely for storage instead of cord and head flopping all over the cupboard.
