Terrible machine and terrible service – This is the worst dryer I have ever owned! I would give it and Miele 0 stars if I could. I have been a loyal Miele customer for over 20 years and have always spoken very highly of their products to others. After my most recent experience with this dryer and with Miele service I will never buy a Miele product again and tell anyone who asks the same thing. Purchased this dryer in April 2024. Slight 4 week delay on delivery. Finally get dryer delivered in May. First time running the dryer it runs for hours and nothing drys! Call Miele service. Got the most rude service customer service person who was more interested in getting me to agree to their service conditions than actually listening to my issue with my BRAND NEW dryer. Adds me to the end of the service wait list so no technician until 4/6/24. Technician comes and confirms I have a DOA machine that will have to be replaced. So I wait again for a new machine. New machine delivered 1/8/24. So at this point whilst very annoyed that I have been weeks without a functioning dryer I’m glad to finally have a new machine that works. Fast forward 10 weeks and my dryer stops working again. Different fault message this time. Check my log history and the dryer has done a grand total of 20 cycles in 10 weeks and is now broken again. Once again log a service call and wait another 3 weeks before someone can come out. It is now the 29/10/24 and the tech comes, runs a diagnostic and confirms the whole electronics board has to be replaced!! So my very expensive, only done 20 cycles dryer now has to have a major component replaced. And so now here I sit waiting again until 20/11/24 when hopefully someone will come and fix my dryer. Miele do not care about their customers and the ridiculous wait times. Their products which used to be solid, long term investments are pieces of rubbish. Next time I will be in search of something better and a company who cares about their customers. In 7 months of elapsed time my dryer has worked for a total of 20 cycles. Save yourself this stress and buy something else!

A quick update - Miele customer advocate reached out and after our repair on 20/11/24 was cancelled due to technician illness they offered an upgrade to a new machine. Happy to say the new machine has now been delivered and so far is working wonderfully well. Hoping this new machine will restore my faith in Miele. Thank you to the customer advocate for their assistance in this resolution
Great dryer – Have had this machine for 2 mths. Works great as a heatpump dryer. Very quiet and speedy. Good sized water tank for empting into washing machine. Easy to clean lint and heatpump filter. Nice to get notification of end of cycle on phone
