Prompt service and professional communication, but I was quoted over $6,000 for a like-for-like replacement of my failed AquaMAX hot water system. After obtaining other quotes, I chose to install an instantaneous hot water system for a significantly lower overall cost. While others may have different experiences, I felt the quoted price was difficult to justify and would recommend getting multiple quotes before proceeding.

plumbers with the skill, infrastructure and technology to identify the issue and then propose a solution. After some research, we elected to make contact with Millbrook Plumbers. It was a wise decision! From end to end, the experience was an extremely positive one. The Millbrook team identified a substantive blockage in our sewage line, hidden well beneath our garden (some 3 metres down) with significant cracks, holes and tree root damage in original earthenware pipes likely to have been nearly 100 years old. We were able to see this issue in a real time environment using their state-of-the-art camera and retrieval equipment. Every step of the way, the Millbrook team were responsive, transparent, communicative, knowledgeable and demonstrated a duty of care for our premises and garden. As we discovered a repair of this nature is not cheap and requires many days of work (in our case, about a week) irrespective of who one chooses to do the work. It is however a 'necessary evil'. We had taken our home sewage for granted, but the ramifications in not repairing - and quickly - can be catastrophic. This was a big job - expertly project managed with a minimum of disruption. Included in the quote (with no hidden extras), and then the works themselves was full restoration of the garden. A shout out to Matt, Jordan, Brenton, Darcy & Daniel and the extended Millbrook team.

My toilet was running constantly so called Millbrook thinking I’d need a new cistern or something. Young man came out and hooked a little chain back on inside the toilet, took 2 minutes and he didn’t even charge me because it wasn’t “real work” because a neighbour could have done it. He even waived the call out fee too! 10/10!

called millbrook out because our hot water was super weak in the ensuite. fully expected to be told i needed a new system or pipe work. turned out the pipe run is just super long and the hot water takes a while to come through. offered some solutions but we're happy to just run the shower for a bit. the guy still waived the callout fee and charged me nothing, legend. will 100% use in future and recommend.
