cost after being quoted $240 per hour, i am tolf they charged me travel time from their depot in Brisbane?? They would have left Brisbane at 7.30am in peak traffic to make it to my place at 9am, and told me traffic unpredictable, you leave in Brisbane or Gold Coast you dont go on M1 unless you have to from 0600 to 0900, everyone knows that. So why would you drive to a job from Brisbane to Gold Coast at this time, because you are charging top dollar. So my advice if you are in Gold Coast dont use Mini Movers because you will cop an extra $250 on top of your service invoice to use them. I think it is a rort!

not be located, the manager was unresponsive and unapologetic. At first they lied about the losses and then they covered their lie with another lie that they put my spectacles in a green Eco bag, but they never handed it to me. Other things were not found. My entire academic transcript and my university degree which I had packed into a bag along with my birth certificate and birth and death certificates of my family plus my family history covering 200 years had disappeared. The academic and family history were in ring bound coloured binders, one blue and the other pink. All gone. The family history is irreplaceable. A clear box full of electronics has also disappeared. Some large bags of knitting yarn filled with expensive alpaca yarn has also not arrived. My complaints fell on deaf ears and they will not reimburse me for the loss and I suspect that if I make a claim against them via my insurance, MiniMovers will not pay out. Then there was the detour they made on the way to my new home not far away from my old home. I waited for over 10 minutes for them to arrive. When they arrived they said they stopped somewhere for a drink. They did not notify me of this before they took off and I therefore did not know where they were going. They arrived at my old home totally unprepared. There were no plastic covers for my bed or lounge furniture as I am an asthmatic. The young Australian told me he forgot all about it in the rush to get to my address. His sidekick merely grunted most of the time. These two young men were not experienced removalists. They misplaced everything. All boxes were clearly labelled top and side with fragile marked on various boxes, yet my instructions for these labels to face front at my new home were disregarded and the heavy boxes were placed on top of the boxes marked fragile which caused the fragile contents of the boxes to break. Once upon a time, 17 years ago MiniMovers had experienced competent removalists and they didn't take all day to move my stuff. As it stands they charged me $2,100+ for over 8 hours for a 2-bedroom unit plus they lost significant items including my identification which will cost me significantly to replace. Thanks for nothing MiniMovers. You people are not the same people you once were nearly 20 years ago. These days you don't seem to carry insurance nor offer compensation for anything your people destroy or lose. As a parting shot to MiniMovers, the 2 people who were engaged to clean up my former home relayed to me that the lost items in question were NOT at the unit after I left which means my precious things were dumped, or worse. George & Evan were excellent – I just needed some furniture moved around my house from upstairs to downstairs and vice versa. George & Evan were truly excellent. Professional, courteous, friendly, careful and quick. The total costs were less than I was expecting. All in all a wonderful experience and I would definitely hire Mini Movers again.

Excellent job by MiniMovers! – I've used MiniMovers several times over the years and would never use any other removalist. Recently I had a small move which included a fragile screen. The job was done perfectly and fuss-free by Julian and Jack. They were punctual, polite and cheerful.

Very Disappointed – Over $900 for a 2 bedroom apartment, to have the fridge dinted in multiple places and washing machine scratched. In saying that I didn’t even make a complaint regarding the fridge as I know the boys worked hard, and there were stairs but I didn’t expect the washing machine to be scratched. Use someone else – Booked a short distance domestic move 2 weeks in advance, they called me to cancel the day before with "covid reasons" and no alternative. Made an already stressful and anxious time worse, and have completely lost a loyal customer, but also gained an absolute detractor for this brand and company. days later had noted I wasn't the only person who Mini Movers had cancelled on that same day, only the reasons they were given were "shortage of trucks".

Cancelled at last minute – I booked a removal during the pandemic, confirmed they were operating under covid safe plan. Cancelled by company at 7.30 on day of move. Refused to do my removal. Absolutely horrific, if I could give zero stars I would. Avoid.

Can't fault them, amazing service! – I have now used Mini Movers twice and can't fault them in the slightest. They go above and beyond to the point where my sofa wouldn't fit in the apartment lift so they took it down 4 flights of stairs. They aren't the cheapest option in terms of removalists, but I would easily use them again because they are trustworthy and get in and get the job done.

Great helpful removalists – I highly recommend this removalist. Even though it was a short distance removal, the guys who did the removals were great. One of our office desk got minor damage while unloading and the office staff took responsibility in ensuring that this was replaced with a similar newer item. Had a professional friendly service from this company.

Cleaning service a rip-off – Booked the cleaning service .. two cleaners for one hour. Was aware travel time was included and email stated the cleaners would come from Carindale depot, close to my home, but on arrival they announced they had travelled from Rocklea and that because of travel they could only stay 15 mins. When I arrived they were rude and unpleasant and wanted to spend my precious 15 minutes sprouting the rules and calculating the cost. My complaint has been ignored, and surprise .. my negative review does not appear on their website. A total rip-off, contrary to the movers, who were brilliant.

Mini Movers have lost their way – Mini Movers stopped working on my job even though I booked them and gave clear instructions on what to pick up and that I would not able to be present at most of the move. before I was charged less than half that amount. The workers, although friendly and polite, walked around like browns cows - slow and anything but prompt. The off shore telephone people only create barriers because you can't contact the supervisors directly. Half way through the job, the first supervisor changed shift so I kept on dealing with different people. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE SERVICE in my opinion. In fairness they did not seem to break anything but next time I'd be far better off doing it myself with a mate. What a great pity my former removalist was not available. Mini Movers have really lost their way from their former efficiency and value for money many years ago. STEER CLEAR. (Mini movers may try to say that because I gave a tip and signed a "I'm happy" form, that my review is false. Trash! I gave the tip because I felt I needed to make amends for losing my cool and swearing at the staff - understandable since I had urgent work to do all day and yet I found out from my secretary that my removalists were sitting on their hands doing nothing despite being booked and pondering if I'd be there at the end of the job. They stuffed up there with failure to communicate hence my loosing my cool.)

Complete rip off – I asked for an ute as only had a half a ute load of items if that. Was told i needed a small truck. Massive truck turns up. Absolutely ridiculous and over the top. Overcharged in time also. It's 20 min trip to my dad's house.

Consitently Reliable, Friendly and Professional – These guys are easy to book, they reconfirm, they show up on time and they work fast, are careful with your goods and your floors and walls and they move incredibly heavy things (like big fridges) into difficult spaces (up tight stairs). They are super respectful, polite and friendly. Ive used them twice and would so again. Its a great experience.

Would not use them again nor recommend them! – When we arrived at our Retirement Village in Wyoming from the house in Lower Blue Mountains the two removalists had to pack everything in garage because floors weren't finished. Dented Refrigerator – My fridge which was in perfect condition and now has dents (5) on the front panel. Saturday) sent photos etc.... the feedback I received was that they agreed - yes the fridge is dented and it wasn't before; but I must have done it after they left! Not only was my fridge dented but I was accused of being dishonest. I asked for an apology but was told my story didn't add up which is frustrating given that we all know how and when the fridge was damaged. These guys are immature and have no idea of customer service. If they didn't want to accept liability then they just had to refer to their Ts and Cs. I certainly didn't expect to be told that I must have damaged the fridge after they left. Don't sign anything until you have taken the time to check everything. You will be rushed and tired - but find your glasses, take control, have a good look and do not sign unless you are sure.

One of the guys was actually great - the other however kicked my large sofa cushion across the room because he tripped on it. I was standing right next to him. Again a sign of immaturity and inexperience! My feeling was that if he was willing to behave that way whilst I was standing next to him, what else went on that I didn't see? At least I did receive an apology on site.

Great Experience from Booking to Actual Move – I was really pleased with all aspects of this move. From ringing to book it in just 3 days beforehand, to estimating the size of the truck, the followup phone calls on the day and of course, the actual move. The poor guys had to drive 150kms to get to my job from their last job and they never complained. This is the 5th time I have used MiniMovers and yet again they delivered.

The Best Movers – We have moved at least half a dozen times with Minimovers, and they have been excellent. We have a big house requirement - 4 Bedrooms, 2 living rooms, two Dining Room tables, two offices, and a bunch of stuff. have always gone out of their way. Having moved a couple of times, I found last move that we are considered VIPs. To that end, they had another crew in the area, and with my agreement, turned up, and we were charged a discounted price for the two extra guys (bothing for their truck being there), which meant the pack and unpacks were lightning fast. In the five moves, we have only had two things damaged, and they had them professionally fixed without question.

Their box service is great - we know we will be moving again eventually, so we keep them in the garage for the next time around.

Awesome Customer Service! Experts – The service provided by Trent and Lachlan was exceptional. Trent was a very experienced operator and offered a high level of customer service. Very refreshing to see a young team operate at this level...

Great Services and Impressive Staff – Early June we moved from Sydney to the Central Coast region, the first move in 32 years. A friend recommended Minimovers so we engaged their services. We were so impressed with the care and attitude from Gillie and Will, the service was excellent and they made our moving day a hassle free event. We can highly recommend MiniMovers.

So much for recycling!!! – Moved with these guys a few years ago in Brisbane and used them again in Sydney. were OK, one quite new and new to Australia.

Boxes were purchased at the first Sydney move and were told by Mini Movers that they would buy back the used boxes. After the unpack, Mini Movers were contacted to pickup the boxes, which there were probably around 60 in different sizes. Mini Movers wouldn't pickup the boxes because it was apparently too far for them to drive and we are located halfway between 2 depots!!! After discussions, they did offer to pickup but without the buy back AND wanted to charge for the pickup.

So no buy-back for the boxes and now they have to be taken to a paper recycler!! So much for recycling perfectly good boxes. Just fill the earth with perfectly good boxes!

Oh, and they charged a lot more for the second move than the first move, within a 12 month period!!

No recommendation for this company!
