Scammers – 27 June 2022 I purchased earrings for my daughter for a present! I have not received my order and I have multiple times messaged the chat and emailed and I have had no response! Very dissatisfied and illegal. Taken my money , never received, no response, no refund ! SCAM!

Best prices in Sydney and love the manchester that we bought! – We visited the three major baby stores in Sydney and Minimee had the best prices for our Joolz stroller and our Oeuf cot and had the best service. Minimee had aggressive marketing campaigns through December and into January, I feel they knowingly took advantage of families in vulnerable a state by doing this. As a pregnant person in need of an item, I was happy to of purchased it at the discounted rate. I made the mistake of believing the company stocked the item as it was stated otherwise.

Looking through my emails to my surprise I discovered four years ago, I'd purchased from Minimee and the same lack of supply had occurred however the items eventually arrived. Unfortunately I'd forgotten this.

I will be contacting the liquidators with my emails to show the companies had bad practice and hopefully help other plaintiffs with bigger investments losses.

I feel for everyone affected, it is so unfair ... but the most important thing is love and hopefully you find plenty of it with all the new arrivals.

said) ended in us finding out about their liquidation only after 4 emails, 3 phone calls and a voicemail. My baby is due any day now and I am out almost $2,000 and don't have all the products I need to care for my child.

All of this aside, I am now focussed on getting back the money I'm entitled during this liquidation process. I thought this information may also prove helpful to others in a similar situation to me.

Minimee is a Private Company, meaning that the limited number of shareholders will only be responsible for the money they've invested in the company. While it is unfortunate that they will not be held personally responsible for the actions of the owner who strung me along for months, there is hope that the Directors of the company CAN be held personally responsible, so long as we all notify the administrator of the liquidation of the misleading and fraudulent behaviour of the company - this is known as vicarious liability. As a director, you can become personally liable for breaches of the Competition and Consumer Act (which we all seem to have in common here on this thread - the business taking orders they knowingly could not fulfil. It appears to me that the business was taking orders which they had no intention of fulfilling and using the money from our orders to settle current outstanding debts). Penalties for breaching the CCA may be millions of dollars and/or jail time. It is our duty, as informed consumers, to inform the liquidator of these unethical practices and breaches of the CCA. If the liquidator then suspects these offences were committed, they can report this to ASIC for funding further investigations. This will only help us in recuperating more money.

On Monday when I speak with the administrator, I will be sure to alert them of the malicious and dishonest practices of the owners and I encourage you to do the same. The more of us on the same page, the better it is for us.

Fingers crossed we can all get some of what we are owed back. Times are already hard enough for young families in Australia.

even made me go through a security check! At first the wait time was 4-6 weeks, then 10 weeks, then Christmas, then the week after Christmas. I finally got some of my order by mid January, that's three months later and I only received half the items I ordered. Although the staff were helpful on the phone when I would enquiry about my order, I now feel deceived and lied to. Minimee led me to believe the fault was with the suppliers when really it was their own business practice. Very dishonest. And not to mention heartless, messing people around at a most vulnerable time in their lives.

I thought ordering 3 months in advance would give me plenty of time. My baby is due in 2 days and I do not have half the stuff I ordered.

I have lodged a complaint with my bank requesting a cash back, with the liquidators and with NSW Fair Trading.

Thanks a bunch Minimee for ripping me off and for the added stress I do not need right now!

delivery ! Fine I can wait .... 11 weeks on and still no pram just constant lies about shipments and delivery time excuses after excuses! I'm due this week and they knew that we have try calling them, emailing them but no one is answering, they have closed the websites down, we call the police, fair trading and complain about there situation. I call the shop across the road from them top3 and the had a look and effect shop is close. This comes after last Thursdays last time I spoke to them on the phone and email, we just wanted them to provide us with the full refund back, and they where still lying about delivery and that they promise it will be deliver this week and they will give me free gifts to go with the pram for the inconvenience caused ! I am very upset as their website is still running and taking orders but no-one is answering phones or emails and they have not advised anyone they have closed.

No communication, poor service – Ordered a capsule in July and was advised 6 week waiting. Still waiting and no communication on when it will be delivered other than every time they were asked it would be another two weeks. Had to get another option as the baby is due. Also got another baby seat and they didn't even call to say it had arrived! Take your business elsewhere as there are other shops that I am sure would be keen to beat that level of service.

Overpriced, should have done my research! – Just bought a breast pump and some other clothes and swaddles. Seemed a bit pricey, so when i got home I checked online and discovered the total cost was almost 50% more expensive than other baby shops and online options! Can't get a refund either so lesson learned. They stock a decent range of products, but there's no justification for 'convenience store' markups on these items! Will not shop here again.

They were bemused when I mentioned the mixed reviews - some so negative it makes your eyes water! I was assured that I would receive delivery before Christmas, that it would be dispatched tomorrow and it usually takes 2-7 days via Australia Post registered post. Also, she asked if she could call me back - which she did within minutes, so, so far, excellent service. Oh, and it was the cheapest price for the cot by far, with a reasonable delivery price. rapport with management. It's always been such a pleasure shopping there. They have a great variety of good quality merchandise and the girls are always on the lookout for new and exciting things.

When reading some of the reviews, I simply can't imagine that they are about the same store!

I'll probably still be shopping there when I am a grandmother. Or maybe I will join them and open a Minimee franchise.

(Noir Black). A week later it had not arrived so we wrote an email asking for tracking details. No reply so we followed up with a call. This in itself is frustrating having to follow up after being patient for 7 days. We were then told they didn't have the stock so the options were: wait 2-3 weeks or take a refund. We had paid nearly $2000 and no courtesy call or email. It was our problem and they would happily keep our money. We opted to wait. Best case 2 week and worst case 3. We could deal with that.

It wasn't urgent so we waited 3.5 weeks before following up again. By this stage we knew they had zero customer service ability so it was up to us. Here again we were told it was (someone else's) problem and they hoped to have stock end of the following week. That came and went by which time we were getting nervous as we needed the pram.

Another week later it arrived (over 5 weeks in total) with the incorrect address and name on the boxes. Someone simply couldn't copy the address properly but luckily the driver knew us so it did arrive.

Then we find out a box was missing - the website stated the components included. After 3 phone calls and being told it was their web teams fault, we weren't entitled to the package they had sold us. At no point were we rude or offensive. We simply wanted what they had advertised. They hung up and said they would get back to us. This never happened so we've moved on. It's not the time to increase our stress levels but they have been the worst online experience we've ever had. Terrible service, unapologetic staff and a web team that can't do their jobs properly and the worst part is that the only person who suffers is the customer.

I would strongly suggest you give you hard earned money to a business that appreciates it. Customer service is not going over board, it's doing the basics and Minimee cannot even do that. We've since had really good service at local shops so we'll stick to them. Lesson learned.

Fantastic knowledge and friendly service – I visited both the Crows Nest and Camperdown stores several times while trying to decide what pram to buy for my first baby. It is an expensive purchase and I really wanted to make the right decision. The staff at both stores were patient and knowledgeable. I was flip-flopping between the Stokke Xplory and the Bugaboos. In the end I bought the Stokke and I have been so pleased with this pram.

the websites of other stores). Several days after payment cake out of my account I received an email that there had been a delay and the stock was expected in three weeks. This was not an unacceptable wait to me at the time. However the stock did not arrive. I waited four weeks before emailing the company, and was told that I would receive the order "early next week." I expressed by email to the company my concern that the same products were again being advertised at a sale price online, when evidently the company has had difficulty fulfilling orders. Another month went by and when I emailed again, after several days I had a response with a promise that the goods would arrive the next week. Indeed the items did arrive (late last week); however one was not what I had ordered (missing a component). I rang the company and they apologised and put the missing part in the post. I am still waiting on that item. I wish I had asked them to send it by express or courier; I think a more thoughtful company would have offered that anyway.

I would advise you to avoid this online store. Although I was given opportunities to cancel my order for a refund, the customer service was otherwise poor. I feel that the company withheld the truth about the status of their stock and this affected my ability to make a fair decision about whether to wait for my order or not (particularly when I knew that there might be a delay at another store - because other stores have been up front about this). Even if you have the time to wait months (10 weeks, in my case) for your order I think it would be better to deal with someone else.

After 2 weeks i had to call them again, another delay, blaming the supplier. Our baby was born almost a month now and yet we don't know when we're gonna get the pram. They also promised us other items will be delivered at certain time and they will post them to us. When i rang today, they said they don't have our email or address and only have our phone number so they can't post them out! I called minimee back and told them I wanted a refund on the bag. I had to chase them up to get the refund. When I received the other supplies no invoice or receipt or anything. So not happy especially with there misleading delivery times. Don't be deceived with apparent Los prices cause chances are you won't get the order.

gave them numerous calls week after week and everytime I was told that it was on its way and the supply issue from UPPAbaby warehouse in Melbourne had been causing the delay. A week later, I decided to check with UPPAbaby and they told me that they had already supplied Minimee with an adequate stock and didn't understand why Minimee was blaming them for the delay. Since I had escalated the issue with UppaBaby, Minimee gave me a call the very same day and promised to send it within two days.

They even offered a free shipping which I declined as I just don’t want any further delay and I am happy to pick it up myself. It’s almost a week now and am still waiting.Called this morning, the lady over the phone was rude and suggested if I would like to cancel my order and again blamed on the supplier. The other lady told my husband they didn’t know when the pram would arrive. Each time we call, we have different people giving differnt delivery dates.I am due early next month and still not sure if I would get my pram or not.I wish they could understand how special shopping is for first time parents. fast delivery, great customer service – We did our research and knew we wanted the bugaboo stroller. Minimee had a sale and we called them to get some advice and Barbara in the webteam was fantastic. We ordered it and we got it within the week as promised. Love our stroller and will shop online at this store again.
