I had an issue with order and collect, u fortunately this could not be resolved to my satisfaction, but hey that's ok these things arise
However I gave the Manager a pretty tough time and he was exemplary in his handling of this situation which was none of his stores doing , well done Chris
Whoops, I did it again
I ordered from mitre 10 once before click and collect and it took ages to arrive ,communication was poor and when it came time to pick up staff were rude because they did not make the sale and it was an inconvenience for them. I mistakenly purchased from mitre 10 again and guess what, same thing happens again this time, never ever buy click and collect mitre 10.
Forget click and deliver
I ordered a click and deliver lawnmower. Forget it as the staff cant even organize delivery saying 100kms is too far. They offer a service that doesn't happen. Now Im forced to drive over 100kms to pick up what was meant to be delivery.
Last time I order from Mitre 10. Staff no help and have no answers except saying its a new thing and stores might not know. mmmm. Now if this was maccas and staff didnt know about new burger I wonder what the consequences would be. I should just cancel the order.
Waiting, Waiting, Waiting
Mitre 10 Victoria. ( In general) Ordered a shed at Mitre10 over 3 weeks ago as advertised in their catalogue. When I inquired about the shed last week I was told the manufacturers for that brand are very slow. A friend purchased the same item from Bunnings 2 days after me and got the shed within the week. I'll wait another week and probably get my money back.
Is it 1999 yet?
Archaic. Went there because a drill press I was after is not sold by Bunnings. Tried to order online and it looked like it was in stock as the two nearest stores. They have to order it from east. Don’t reply to emails either.

You have lost a long standing customer
I have been a customer of Banner Mitre 10 Blackwood for many many years. Even before they amalgamated Banner Hardware with Mitre10. Since the amalgamation I have notice a slow but obvious reduction in the service and products held at the store. As I live close by and believe in supporting local business and supporting small business over the big boys in town, I have maintained my custom even though the store has deteriorated. In recent weeks, I have found that my Members Advantage Card was not giving me my discounts. I was told that it was due ...to a glitch in a new computer system. I kept giving my custom to the store because of the previously stated reasons. Today, not only did I not get my TRADE DISCOUNT, the employee stated he could not even find me on the system. So you have now lost me. I don't know if the reduction of service and products are as a result of the amalgamation, the current store manager or a lack of interest in the customer in general but it is very sad to see, what used to be a great store at Blackwood, slowly deteriorate. Its off to Bunnings I will go.
Personalised customer service
Get small equipment from Mitre10 quite often I need to keep fixing stuff at home. Despite the turnover in staff, they always hire people who just love to be of help. Price may be a bit higher than usual, but definitely worth it as the quality of service is Great! They are so patient listening to my questions and explaining and providing options. I also ordered items online and picked up at store. Very happy customer!

Just been to Mitre 10 Wallington. Kevin the customer service guy in bathroom area was extremely helpful. I had been searching online for bathroom vanity for ensuite renovation. Kevin's service was exceptional, so happy with cabinet, stone top and bowl. He fitted a few different bowls for me to look at on the cabinet. Nothing was a hassle, very helpful. Vanity being delivered tomorrow. Made my day, taken the headache away of finding a vanity. Fantastic price too.
Absolutely abysmal service.
This review concerns Capeview Mitre 10 in Wonthaggi Victoria. Unless you are a trade customer expect to be ignored and spoken down too. These people barely acknowledge your existence let alone try to be "mighty" helpful. The guys at the wood/plumbing end would rather stand around drinking coffee and try not to make eye contact than help you. I guess it's because I only need 5 or so meters of wood, when Mr hi viz shirt needed 500, but even when the place is empty they won't come near you, too close to knockoff on a Sunday I suppose. The wood war...ehouse is an absolute pigsty, plastic and packing wood everywhere, it's a slip trip and fall lawsuit waiting to happen. I hope your trade customers can sustain you when the new Bunnings is built next year, if they can't you guys are stuffed.
Way too expensive
I went to the Brisbane City Mitre10 on 12/09/2020 to buy a cleaning product called 'Wet and Forget'. On the Wet and Forget website the product is priced for $99 (5L), and Mitre10 was charging $139, like what we're you thinking before putting the price up?! I even mentioned it to the staff about the significant price difference.
I bought it from a different supplier for $99. I have always preferred Bunnings, however, after this incident I will ensure to not return to Mitre10.
I made an order for click and collect online and the website said the store had stock. 5 days later no response from the mitre10 around booking in a time to collect. I called up and lady on the phone could tell me what was the status of my order. Called the second on another day and product is in back order. Horrible experience and there's no dialog on what to expect. Never buying from here again!
Gubbins Mitre 10 Mittagong - Our famous kitchen quote
We waited 3 weeks for a kitchen quote. After a few amendments we never heard back from them so ended up going to a Sydney company that were far more enthusiastic. Furthermore, the Sydney company returned calls promptly and paid attention to detail. Nothing was too complicated for them.
Mitre 10 Gubbins Mittagong-Mighty disinterested and Mighty likely to shop elsewhere!
Bought a couple of items in this store yesterday and on paying the check-out person was as disinterested in engagement as a rusty turnstile. No eye contact and only when person (Fair-haired, middle aged, Female) did bother to swivel her eyeballs in my direction (nano seconds worth!), they radiated a disaffection bordering on tedium at dealing with a person whom may have simply just wanted to have a little light banter and a smile returned. Further disaffection at this lousy customer interface exemplified and amplified by near-yawning scanning r...itual of the bar-codes and a monotone of verbal engagement that had me wonder why the hell she was bothering to breathe as it was starving the area of positive oxygen. The next in-line at the queue and I made eye contact at this disengagement and as I packed my car with my purchases the same person, parked nearby in the car-park suggested that maybe the checkout person had forgotten to insert a new battery this morning. I could only agree and indicated that I could lend the owners my spare cattle prod as a motivational tool. Conclusion: mighty disappointing and "I just-y mighty go elsie-weary"- where low prices are just the beginning and crap service is their corporate policy.

What impresses me at this store, is firstly the cleanliness and how everything is displayed, they have everything you need. I recently purchased laser-lite for my Brother in laws Sunroom. I tried Bunnings and who had limited stock which was covered in dust.....and where was the service??
There is always some one willing to help you find what you need and the prices are reasonable.
Excellent Service and Support
Every time, I have been to a Mitre 10 store, I have always received excellent service and prompt attention. Recently, I also found that prices at Mitre 10 are cheaper than what is being charged by that behemoth chain Bunnings. I can highly recommend the Mitre 10 store at Bundall on the Gold Coast. If you would like to be served in a timely manner and also ask for advice , look no further than this store. I have found the Bunnings experience totally unsatisfactory in every way. It takes a long time to find someone to assist you and then you are ...pointed to a numbered aisle, which is totally useless unless you happen to be a tradesman. The staff at Bunnings in Labrador find it annoying to have to stop talking to their colleagues in order to serve a customer. We should all be supporting the smaller chains, because once stores like Bunnings become monopolies, the average customer will be worse off than ever before. Being pointed to a numbered aisle is not customer service.

Excellent customer service
Young man approached us asking if we required some help on a few minutes after entering the store in Pinjarra. Was able to take us to where we needed to go. Couldn’t find exactly what we wanted so he came up with an alternative that worked perfectly. Super happy with the entire staff and service. Just wish there was a mitre 10 closer to Rockingham. I’d travel there before going to Bunnings any day.

Personally I have always tried to support Mitre 10 as the "little guy".
But having just been arrogantly ripped-off by Mazzegas Mitre 10 Kelmscott, I am going over to Bunnings.

Mitre 10's corporate conscience is broken from management through to staff.
Mitre 10 have yet to discover the secret of satisfying their customers. I have found them to be rude, arrogant, expensive, poor quality and treat you as if you should be grateful they exist. I don't believe they will last too much longer against the newer more customer focussed stores.
