Warranty claim lounge indoor unit – Very happy with the help from customer service with my warranty claim. ( One month before warranty ran out.) Very impressed with the service from Cal with the replacement of indoor power board two days before Christmas Day.Thank you.

Who ever would have thought - old fashioned honesty – A 2 year old air conditioner stopped working, technician inspected and told me that the board had shorted and needed to be replaced. The worst time of the year it was a particularly hot time. He said his shop wold make contact with Mitsubishi to go through the standard warranty argument and if answered in many favour how long it would take for the… Read more

part to be delivered. A week later I called his shop and was informed that they were still waiting for a response. I called the Mitsubishi myself, initially the retail customer 1800 #, it was made clear by the person who answered the call that she had no interest in helping me. I then called MTBSHI Heavy Industries, Im in Brisbane and understand that they are located in North Lakes, I wish I had kept the young ladies name. After I explained to her the circumstances she did everything to help and assured me that the part would be with my technician within 2 days and that the part and the technicians costs were covered by the warranty. That happened. Will make sure in the future that all Air Cons are MTSBHI heavy industry brands.

Do not waste your money on the Avanti – Mitsubishi Heavy Industry-SRK352ZSXAW. Having spent over $3,000 for this rubbish I can only warn others to steer clear of the Avanti. Very unhappy with its performance - have to have the heating on 30 degrees (maximim) for it to warm up the small room and need to keep the fan on low to avoid having cold air also being blown into the small room. Have used other air cons in hotels and motels etc etc and have never had these issues. Show details

Good aircon – We purchased the aircon for our bedroom. On high fan a bit noisy, the on off light too bright for bedroom and when the blade turned all the way the air doesn't follow properly. It is very good quality does the job perfectly makes the room toasty in winter and nice and cool in summer, will buy it again if needed for another room. Show details

Mitsubishi aircon replaces our Daikin of 17 years – We needed to replace our faithful Daikin of 17+ years in the office. We chose the Mitsubishi SRK25ZSA-A from Bunnies, after looking at reviews, and of course price. I don't think any of the aircon brands now are of the same quality from several years back. Sure more technology, but, also more to go wrong. This unit is in our office, so we simply… Read more

need it to cool and heat, nothing more. So far, after only a few days, it is very quiet on heat cycle and no clicking noise...so far.... I see several complaints about this.

I did notice Mitsubishi have cash card redemptions until the end of July 2021...but not for this model. I will revisit here in a few years time to update the review. Hopefully, to confirm what a great aircon it is..

Good product very happy with it so far – Had about 18months no problem at all. Good product. Good enough for my son’s room. Totally happy with it. Also get my gift card cash back for it :) I definitely recommend for this!

Exactly what we wanted – We live in a rural environment in a transportable home where temperatures can be extreme. The air conditioners we had fitted are quiet and efficient. What was an unusable area of our home in extreme weather is now very comfortable all year round. Show details

Very good and Reliable aircon – Makes too cold really. Has very nice timers and sleep functions that I use almost every day. Would recommend, it hasn't given any problems and makes almost no noise at all, sometimes forgot it is on. Show details

Cools OK but noisy. Repaired but still noisy – Just noisy. Tick, tick, tick, tick....... Installers couldn't care less, Mitsubishi Heavy just think it's an inconvenience to fix. The fan has been replaced but the unit is still the same. It cools great and is super-efficient but when it is billed as being one of the quietest units on the market, this is not acceptable. I might replace it with a Mitsubishi Electric. Show details

Mitsubishi Split Airconditioner - Wonderful machine – Recently I purchased a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries split airconditioner (2.5 KW) for my bedroom. I have to say that this is the most underrated aircon as its performance matches or exceeds those of the big brand aircons. It is very energy efficient, and is very easy to use. It performed extremely well during the recent cold snap in Sydney (I live that too far from the Blue Mountains where it was snowing). Show details

Excellent service – great product, mitsubishi always have promotions at the time when i purchased the reverse cycle they had a cash back which was fantastic! I also checked warranty and breakdown reviews and found very little bad reviews also with the warranty there is no long waits on the phone to overseas its all done in Australia and better yet you submit the warranty online yourself. Show details

Doesn't last the distance – We had 3 of these SRK71 7.1kw units (plus 3 smaller 2.5kw units) installed in new Townhouses we built and seemed to be good till the warranty expired. At 6 years the first of the 7.1kw died and needed a costly repair. Then within a week one of the smaller 2.5kw units (SRK25) spring a gas leak in the coil & wasn't cost effective to repair (as it… Read more

would also have no warranty if anything else did go wrong) & replaced it with a brand new Fujitsu unit that came with 5yrs warranty. Now few months later (units are close to 6.5yrs old) one of these 7.1kw units had same fate with a gas leak in the coil & replacing again with a new Fujitsu. Not sure if it is luck, but having 3 go within 6 months is not good enough & should last the distance. I will personally no longer use Mitsubushi Heavy Industry (MHI) air conditioners as I would have expected over 10 years life out of them.

I must say I have had no complaints from tenants using these, however my main gripe is that they should have a longer life span, I wouldn't have expected to only get 6yrs out of these...

Note: I did call MHI contacts in Melbourne, who were actually friendly, to actually complain that this was not good enough, I shouldn't have 3 out of 6 units die within a 3-4 month period, but wasn't much they could do as it wasn't a known defect & cannot be covered under warranty.

I would have given them 1 Star, but seeing they were reliable till now I will give them 2 (some may say that is generous, but 2 stars it is)...
