I bought this fridge, on April 1st - and the joke was certainly on me! What a disappointing experience this has been, and continues to be. The fridge was delivered the next day - Appliances Online do get a thumbs up for that - but it was damaged. The lower back panel was smashed in. I don't know if Mitsubishi Electric, Appliances Online or the delivery guys were responsible for that, but it was extremely disappointing. I contacted Appliances Online. That was a very slow frustrating experience but eventually they organized for a replacement to be sent. Because that was the Thursday before Easter, it was another 5 days before the replacement was delivered.
The replacement fridge was then delivered - meaning another day of waiting for a delivery and not being able to refrigerate my food for two hours - and it has been an annoyance since day one. The left side door catches and makes a dreadful scraping noise every time I open it. The top edges of the doors did not line up and it didn't matter how many times I tried to adjust the feet, that made no difference to the alignment. The repair guy has now told me adjusting the feet makes no difference. So why does the instruction manual tell you to do it?!! The compressor often runs at full force, making an incredibly irritating noise, which goes on and on for hours at a time. On the mid setting, things in the fridge were nearly frozen. I turned that setting right down and still the fridge seems colder to me than it should be and clearly the compressor is running way faster and more often than should be necessary.
I contacted Mitsubishi Electric 9 days ago and the fridge was finally looked at today. Both of the fridge doors needed to be adjusted as neither were sitting in the right position. The top edge of the doors do actually line up now. Why were the doors not attached properly before the fridge was sold?! The rotating partition in the left door still isn't working properly. The repair guy now needs to order a part to fix that, then come back - so that will be yet another inconvenience. And I still don't know what is going on with the thermostat.
When you spend over $2000 on a fridge it should be in proper working order when you receive it!! This is not good enough Mitsubishi. Not good enough at all.

Ok so is only day 2 but am so happy with purchase- smaller size than last fisher and Paykel but layout so much more functional and everything easy to see and get at. Looks great - was limited by the size of the space I had so unfortunately this is a bit narrower than I would have liked but definitely the best option for my 1800H x 860w space. I almost settled for a dark grey one, which would not really work as well with my kitchen, but luckily I thought was weird that only had 2 options for colour, and googled and found Harvey Norman had an exclusive on the black ones- so didn't purchase from my preferred retailer, but was actually a lot cheaper and got it the next day and so glad I got the black. Also spared me from considering the dreaded LG option. Despite the larger space at each side does not look out of place, and fits in with my other black glass appliances (Bosch but all Bosch fridges are 1825 high). I like the idea of having the 2 half shelves option or the one full shelf above the deli compartment, but in reality, with the small size of the fridge, having the 2 half shelves only really a good idea if have lots of short things in the fridge, unless of course you remove one of the other shelves entirely. As a one person household with regular dinner guests, who does a bit of meal prepping, this works perfectly for me.
Ice maker great. I was concerned that the ice box in freezer would take up a lot of space but was surprised that there was still space left when I transferred all my frozen goodies . Love access to the freezer draw -I tend to buy in bulk, freeze and use throughout the month - easy and flexible space and have been able to layout freezer items in organised way which I couldn't do in the drawer layout in the freezer compartment of previous fridge. I have read mixed reviews regarding the vegetable drawer but to me this was a big selling point for me- I like to kid myself that the most frequent access to fridge is for vegetables, so was great having this separated, and again great space with easy access. My raspberries have managed to stay ok and not get mushy or mouldy after 2 days which is good sign - I would like to have more information about optimising use of this drawer - seems you have to wrap items especially those that have high moisture like lettuce etc. Not a great lover of plastic but will be trial and error I guess, to see how best to store different fruit and vegetables.
Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $2,089.

By far the best fridge we have ever purchased. From the brilliant design of doors, shelving, drawers, to the style and ease of cleaning - this fridge can't be beaten. Well Mitsubishi....
