in December of 2024. The service tech, informed me that the problem was dust on the condenser causing the noise. What a load of BS. A follow up visit by another technician, resulted in him replacing the condenser fan motor. The motor was running fine, turning freely with no sign of shaft play or anything, but these people are "experts". A few days after leaving, it was back making the same intermittent noise. I contacted the the service agents again directly on December 27th. and they informed me that they would have their techs back on board by January 5th, so they would follow up and make a time again then. It is now February 4th..........and not a word. Absolutely atrocious service 16 months since first reported and still no change.
Considering that I paid $3200.00 back in 2019, it was not a cheap fridge

The only improvement I could think of is the chiller drawers in the fridge section could be cut in half, so that I don't need to open both French doors to get my cheese or whatever, I'd love to just reach in with one hand and slide a half width drawer out. But really, how cares? I'm splitting hairs over how to marginally improve a great design.

first, but it turned out that the setting had been turned automatically to "stop". So just make sure the ice maker setting is "on". Visitors are always commenting on how stylish this fridge is and when they see how functional the design is they're keen to own one themselves. I am delighted with my purchase and highly recommend this multi-drawer fridge.

simple wipe over with Windex to keep it sparkling. It's a quiet fridge. You have to listen intently to even know it's running. Our old fridge was plumbed in and had an ice maker. Sadly fridge isn't plumbed in, but it's ice maker is excellent and the tank is easy to fill and clean. I miss having a cold water dispenser, but this is easily remedied by putting a plastic cold water tank (with a tap) inside. We got ours from purewatersystems.com.au . Internal space is very good. We like our veges and we can easily fit a week's worth of fruit and veg in the cavernous crisper. The freezer is about 3/5 for space but 6/5 for function. It's adequate for our needs. If you like to buy your meat in bulk, you might invest in a separate freezer. Negatives? The arrangement of shelving could be better.

Drawers might need a little getting used to but this fridge is definitely advanced for the features and way it controls the temperature without all the air blowing around like some older models. The fruit/vege drawer down the bottom is excellent, and what it loses in freezer capacity it makes up for it fridge capacity. If like me you are used to a big side-by-side fridge-freezer, the freezer capacity might be a step down, but a good opportunity to have a clean-out, or invest in the deep freeze if you need to store so much in the way of frozen goods. Actually it's kind of 1.5 freezer compartments, as it has an additional 1/2 drawer for items you want to keep either freeze or cool down slowly - yes it's that sophisticated you can set this compartment to cool items down slowly that may be spoiled if cooled down too quickly.
The section of the fridge you use the most has the most space - the fridge and french door area - that was a nice aspect I missed with the old side-by-side I had, and made up in spades for the small reduction in the freezer space I had before in the side-by-side. The side-by-side spaces were quite narrow to begin with, and poorly designed in that, when you open the doors, all the cool air falls out of the entire section - doesn't happen with the drawers.
I love the ice maker. Sure it takes up half a drawer, but it's a smart design that doesn't bother with plumbing water in - so forget that option. These days people may source their own water and it may not be from the plumbing - and you don't need to refill the tank that often, but very easy to do so via the fridge compartment.
One 'gotcha' for those that love to put magnets on their fridge - the front is glass-based, not metal/ferrous so it won't hold them! Instead, we put a few of our favourite magnets on each side the jutted out a bit from the cupboard space. Also, you'll love the on-door menu so much you'll appreciate the nice clean look that doesn't turn the kitchen into an outback pub fridge door.
Overall an excellent investment worth and slightly higher price point, from a company that supplies refrigeration to multiple manufacturers so I'm confident it's going to be reliable as well.

pick its noise from other ambient sounds in a quiet room. It operates flawlessly, and has from day one. The white patterned glass front looks great and never shows finger marks and the like Shelves etc are excellent quality and are holding up fine. I honestly can’t think of a negative.
Whether the style and design suit you as a buyer is something to work out, but we have no regrets paying for a Mitsubishi refrigerator and thoroughly recommend them.

One year has passed and I am not sorry at all that I took a $leap of faith on the new draw design, every single feature of this fridge is fantastic, it’s functionable, a pleasure to use and worth every penny!! * The 743L fridge fits into the same cavity space as my old 500L! Yes, just like the Tardis, it’s bigger on the inside!! * The separated and spacious vegetable crisper draw is so versatile with a place for tall bottles at the front! Big enough for melons underneath, and apples on the shelf. * I can’t tell if the hydroponic light in the crisper works, but my fruit and veggies stay fresh. * The ice maker is a dream come true! * The freezer draw is exceptionally cold- like a deep freezer-freezes ice blocks quickly. * The versa draw is great extra freezer space (haven’t actually used it to snap freeze yet-but I have put my stainless steel bowl and beaters in to chill before whipping cream). The door shelves are HUGE and so well partitioned that it keeps all our bottles and condiments organised and at easy reach.
The Supercool drawer is fantastic and extends the life of fresh meat and seafood. We have seen a dramatic reduction in food waste as a result.
Beer and wine is chilled to perfection and is easily accessible in the door compartments.
The temperature control panel is brilliant and so easy to use, enabling us to customise each section of the fridge. The unit is whisper quiet and the internal lighting is bright and practical.
We did a lot of research before buying this model and we’ve not been disappointed. The 4 Star energy rating helped seal the deal, along with the 5 year manufacturer warranty.

beloved's beer shelf. Easy to clean. Be clear on the depth of this fridge. it is deep! Only improvement I'd like is the ability to retract half side of two shelves to make a tall space, and a cheese drawer at a warmer temp for making cheese. But I love it without that anyway. chlorine filter between the icemaker and water tank. At first I thought the door shelves were a bit odd in design. However, now I use it I find they work perfectly. I can easily fit 3, 2 litre milk/juice containers on the bottom shelf of the right hand door plus plenty of other containers. The Versa drawer is fantastic. I have to agree with the previous review; the shelves are the only slight drawback. I gave it 4 stars because over 3 weeks ago I sent mitsubishielectric.com.au a message on their website asking a question about my new fridge and I received a typical reply email letting me know they will respond asap. I still have not received a reply. However, apart from that, I did a lot of research before buying it and I'm not disappointed.
Brilliant design – The first thing you notice is how beautifully designed this fridge is. Then you notice how quiet it is. It took me a while to learn to use its menu for setting drawer temps etc. Love that it makes ice and does not need to be plumbed in. Lovely generous veg drawer. I took one star off because the shelves are flimsy and bend under weight. Our old FP glass shelves were reinforced with a metal rod. Such a shame as it it's other wise brilliant. Show details
