Watch not working – Bought watch for Christmas present for granddaughter, turned on for first few hours, paid $10 for activation fee and $20 for a monthly plan, after that, it died and unable to turn back on after charging for several hours, unable to reset as screen is black, went to live chat and was sent to another "secured page" where I had to add my credit card details to get support! do not recommend!!! Show details

Moochies Battery life is horrible – I bought Moochies watch for my daughter for Christmas from the local Costco. The battery doesn’t last long at all. times and only ever had 2 responses. They seem to have stopped replying to my email because I have asked for a FULL refund! The watch has random # call which is a concern for the safety on my child. Moochies fail – The first moochies watch we purchased just stopped working. They sent a replacement watch and the SIM was unreadable so you couldn’t register it. you get switched around to different people constantly. The last guy Matt won’t reveal where he is located out of safety reasons. I’m not sure what safety issues there are. I just want a refund. It shouldn’t be this hard.

Troubles since day 1 – Battery last less than a day without being used. Can have it on charge for 2 days and still won't be 100% charged. I've emailed and received no response. Dont buy doesnt work no IT support – Have purchased wish i hadnt. Says my son is located in NSW when infact he is in QLD. Worst smart watch ever – Bought the moochies watch for my sons birthday and have had nothing but trouble with it. Had to send the original watch back and the replacement wasn’t any better. Terrible! – We were finally able to get the watch to work, my son wore the watch for 3 days and then it stopped working. We got a new charger thinking that was the issue but the watch still doesn’t work. I’ve sent numerous emails for the past 3 days and have not heard back from this company! Still paying the monthly service charge though! It is fraudulent the way this company is running!

Waste of money – Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. Once fully charged the battery was lucky to last 4 hours before it would go flat. Thanks everyone for the heads up – Sitting here with my wife reading the reviews and have decided to get our kid a cheap phone instead (with restriction so she doesnt become one of those mean girl bratts). That way we know the gps / track the phone option will work.

Brought this crap – Brought this before looking at reviews. Requested a refund immediately after purchasing. They said to bad its to late. I received it and sent it straight back. No refund still 2 weeks later and making out like they can't find the product. Worst company ever

No signal no support – We live in the Gold Coast, which has 5g, 4g, 3g coverage. At first, we couldn't see a connection or location when kids wherein our own home. to be located. On the odd occasion, we were lucky to get any signal at all the video was unusable, and the text function was too basic. So we had to reply to audio messages that sometimes came through. But not if your child is in a house. So if you want to locate your kids in a park this device might work (might) but if they get abducted and taken indoors anywhere your gonna have no idea where they are.

We reached out to support to try and get a solution, they walked us through some basic troubleshooting then said they were going to send a replacement only after we sent it back. 3 weeks later we are still waiting for their "packaging " to arrive to send it back. All in all I would have saved money buying a apple SE watch as the amount of time wasted on this would have paid for 2 of them.

To be honest, a cheap Nokia phone will give you everything you need and a lower cost all around, and you can get a prepaid sim for a way better deal that will give you a signal anywhere.

Terrible BATTERY LIFE – Bought two new Moochices from jb hi fi last weekend. It feels like a waste of money, the batteries hardly holds charge for half a day. I would be happy to return them because I can't benefit from them due to a quite weak battery life.

Unreliable and expensive – I bought this watch for my year 5 son and very quickly, we realised that the watch had many flaws. The most worrisome one was that the GPS tracker was not reliable. and, after about 4 months, just indicated it needed charging even though we had left it to charge for a number of hours. Thus, it was totally useless when my son needed it most when he was away from us and needed to communicate.

Finally, I have communicated with Moochies customer service department about all of the above, requesting a refund and asking for my account to be closed but they have ignored that and continue to bill me. In the end I have lost $250 for a faulty watch, all of the payments since the watch stopped working, and, after the company refunded me for one payment in February 2020, they proceeded to take 6 more payments until I had to close my credit card so they couldn’t take any more payments. They are still writing to me because they cannot collect payment for a product and service I have told them is not fit for purpose!
