 AI reviews summary

Motoquipe.com.au generally receives high praise for its extensive product range and the precision fit of its vehicle-specific accessories. Customers frequently highlight the exceptional support provided by staff members, particularly when verifying compatibility for older or newer car models. While the majority of experiences are positive, there are recurring frustrations regarding shipping delays and the difficulty of installing certain seat cover designs.

Pros
Exceptional Customer Service: Staff members (specifically Robert) are frequently cited for going above and beyond to verify vehicle compatibility, answer technical queries, and resolve order issues.
Precise Product Fit: The majority of dash mats, floor mats, and seat covers are described as "fitting like a glove," even for difficult-to-source or very recent vehicle models.
High-Quality Materials: Products such as the Sandgrabba mats, canvas seat covers, and dash mats are praised for their durability, professional appearance, and lack of chemical odours.
Helpful Pre-Purchase Guidance: The website's vehicle selector tool and the promptness of email responses help customers feel confident in their purchases before committing.
Cons
Installation Difficulties: Several users found seat cover straps to be too short or the tie-down systems (fabric ties vs. velcro) to be impractical for modern vehicles with electronic seat components.
Shipping and Courier Issues: There are significant complaints regarding the use of Aramex, including inaccurate tracking information, long delays, and high delivery costs for bulky items.
Communication Gaps: While pre-sale support is strong, some customers reported a lack of response to after-sales enquiries or being met with automated/AI replies when reporting defects.
Fitment Inconsistencies: A segment of users reported that "custom" or "vehicle-specific" items did not align with their car's dimensions, leading to disputes over return shipping costs and restocking fees.
Verdict

Motoquipe is a reliable choice for high-quality, well-fitting automotive accessories, particularly if you take advantage of their staff's expertise to verify compatibility before ordering. However, customers should be prepared for potentially difficult installations and should monitor shipping closely, as courier performance and after-sales support for defective items can be inconsistent.

Changed an order made on line but no-one updated it, they just sent it out anyway. I raised an issue and was told that I submitted the change after it was sent, once provided with screen shots, they stopped communicating. I still had to send it back at my own cost, now I just have to wait for the ‘excellent customer service’ to process the refund after 15 days and any questions that I have are answered by an AI bot.

Purchased a console lid cover for my Mitsubishi Outlander. Totally custom made and 100% fitment. Why did I need one? I have a habit of resting my left arm on the console lid when driving (bad habit) and of course the vinyl had worn and looked cr#p. Top product

Looks and feels amazing! I just got the new 2026 Rav4 GX in white and felt that the original seats were too dark for my taste. Luckily, the original interior has grey accents so the Wet Seat Grey Neoprene Seat Covers look amazing! Fitting the front seat covers was easy but fitting the back seats took a bit of patience & small hands for areas that… Read more

Hard to judge fully as the seat covers were a gift, but I paid $360 (on sale) for front and rear covers for a Ford Territory, with the rears being custom. After checking the model number of the fronts, I found a competitor selling them for $75, which means the rears effectively cost $285. That feels extremely overpriced. The branding is another… Read more

letdown: they’re stamped with “Black Bull,” which will look cheap and out of place in the car. I didn’t realise this would be the case, and honestly, who wants that written across their seats?

Customer service was equally disappointing. After two weeks of silence following my order, I reached out only to be replied to by an AI. Can they not be bothered running a business with actual customer support?

If I had my time again, I wouldn’t bother with Motoquipe. The covers are made in China and don’t appear to have the quality you’d expect for the premium price. I’ll only know about the fit once they’re opened at Christmas, but so far I’m not impressed.

Zero Stars - Do Not Buy! I purchased an expensive model car listed as 'new'. The item arrived covered in grease and extensively damaged. I immediately reached out and they admitted it was damaged before sale and apologised for their mistake. On return of the item, wasting my time for a refund, they 'inspected' it and stated it was more damaged… Read more

than when they sold it and disputed the refund. Their claim is completely false and questions my integrity. In addition it completely ignores the fact they sold a damaged item as 'new' in the first instance! I've never dealt with a more dishonest seller. Do not buy from this shop!

"I used the website’s vehicle selector tool (Make/Model/Year) to find seat covers, but the items I received did not fit my car despite being listed as a match. When I returned them, I was only given a partial refund. I am now in a dispute through PayPal to recover the full amount. Based on my experience, the search filter results were not accurate for my specific vehicle."

I encountered an unusually clear website, an unusually and clear responsive correspondent when I emailed questions, rapid handling and despatch of my order, an excellent product. Thanks indeed.

Follow-up  · Installation was simple and easy. The seat covers are doing great. Still look new. I did not use customer support again.

I purchased the Motoquipe dashmat for a mazda cx5 2022. I was unsure of the particular one as there are 2 available. Robert from Motoquipe was very helpful in guiding me to get the correct one. I ordered online and it was delivered soon after. The dashmat looks great and fits very well. I highly recommend this company.

Follow-up  · Installation of the dashmat is very easy. Just put it on the dash. It doesn't even require the Velcro tabs to secure it. The dashmat material is superb, not just black carpet, but a nice firm material perfectly shaped to the cars shaped dash. The black colour certainly reduces glare of a bare dashboard and I really appreciate the protection it gives the car interior.

A straightforward purchase of a Michelin dual cylinder foot pump. I received a very courteous and informative reply to my query of the order. Very happy with the purchase and the product.

Follow-up  · I purchased the Michelin dual cylinder foot pump as it received reviews suggesting it was the best product out there. I have been using a single cylinder Sagar foot pump since the 70s and only replaced it due to a broken return spring. The Michelin foot pump seems to inflate the tyres on my dual cab ute very well, probably better than my old pump. It will be interesting to see if it lasts as long as my old Sagar pump.

I purchased a second pump for myself after purchasing a single barrel device for my daughter. The dual barrel device. It works well and the pressure gauge agrees with my other pressure gauge. It is well-made, solid and the action is smooth. You need to press pretty hard with the dual-barrel model and small people with not much weight may find… Read more

the single barrel version better. The only problems I find are: 1. that you need to wait about 10 to 15 seconds for the pressure gauge to give an accurate reading of tire pressure because it takes this long for pressure in the hose to equalise with the pressure in the tire. 2. that a little too much air escapes from the tire while you unscrew the coupling to the tire valve. This means the tire pressure will be 2 to 3 kPa below the reading on the pressure gauge on the pump before removal. I get around this by over-pressuring the tire slightly and then releasing a little until my other pressure gauge gives the correct reading. I particularly bought a pump with a screw on attachment to the tyre valve as my older pump with a cam-type clip on attachment had to be held on (probably the rubber insert was wearing out). I may try one of the available clamp-on attachments. 3. one of the rubber protectors on the base came off on my concrete floor. The four rubber protectors have a reasonably firm clip-on design but if the pump moves across a rough floor or drive they may come off. I have glued mine on.

Terrible Service. Would not recommend. Order placed on 24/02/26. Website stated express backorder would have item shipped directly from manufacturer in 3-5 days. 12/03/26 I sent an online enquiry and received nothing but an automated reply. 02/04/26 I called Motoquipe direct and spoke to somebody. Person presented themselves as helpful. Said it… Read more

was strange that it hadnt shipped yet and that he would make an enquiry and call me back. No return phone call was ever made. 07/04/26 I received an email from "Macship" stating a shipping order had been booked and supplied an Aramex tracking number that didnt work. 08/04/26 I received an email from Motoquipe stating the item had shipped and supplied a tracking number for Macship which appeared to work and take me to a "Pact Logistics" website. The tracking number also worked on Aramex's website. Here we are now on 22/04/26 and I still have NOT received my item. Tracking shows that the item has been sitting in Aramex's Perth Depot since 10/04/26. Have made 2 phone calls to Aramex with no resolve. One of which had the operator state to me that they have no record of the item actually arriving at their depot here in Perth. Still absolutely no contact from Motoquipe either, other than receiving this request to review my order today.

The product it's self was great. My daughter loves her new seat covers for her birthday so I am also pleased. courier. I found it hard to find my item in the tracking system as it went into no knowledge of where it went for a week. I tried calling the courier but there was no number to call. I emailed them as it was my only option and a day later there was a response to say my item had been delayed but is now back on track to turn up the next day which thankfully it did. However, I was not home at the time, and I would have preferred to be able to give him instructions on where to place it rather than throwing it over the fence the way he did and leaving it for my dog to pee on several times. But no harm done to the product safe inside, so all was well in the end. Ha ha.

The parts ordered were supplied as per the description however the cost of two weathershields to be delivered was almost $100 and delivered on different days. I feel a more reliable and more cost effective delivery needs to be investigated. Due to the delivery excessive cost, which still took 1 week to delivery, I will think twice about ordering any other products from this company.

Had I known the quality I would not have made the purchase. Cheaply made - feel like $100 seat cover bought for $500. Front seat cover bases don't fit. The Wet suit covers are excellent. They fit very snuggly and are easy to install. They look great and provide good protection for the seats. They are comfortable to sit on in hot and cold temperatures. I would highly recommend them.

Great fit for my Suzuki Swift (I allowed some room for the soon-to-add roof rack). Not heavy, though not flimsy either; it is somewhat bulky given the material is not thin, although its straightforward to cover the car. Has been pouring in FNQ most days and nights and the water is kept off my car. My neighbour admired the cover, complimented my choice; looks great and 'does the job'. Am prepped for hail too which we do not get ~:-)
