Ok product, FALSE ADVERTISING and terrible customer service – I have reached out to Phil &Ted, father company to Mountain Buggy several times and was ghosted by a customer service representative after pointing out that their misleading advertisements on their car seat adaptor TS22 that lead me to purchase a non-refundable $300 Graco car seat to go with my Mountain Buggy Cosmopolitan. They advertise that this… Read more
adaptor goes with the Groca Snugride but what they don't say is it only works with Snugride models no longer on the market: "Graco Snugride Car Seat Adaptor for Cosmopolitan. Attach your Graco SnugRide car seat to the cosmopolitan stroller using TS 22, creating a travel system for your baby.". They were happy to provide me the names of old models it works for after I purchased it and discovered it didn't fit. No wonder they always have the adaptor on sale.
Phil&Ted are now refusing to engage in acknowledging this and support me with a solution given that I have now spent money on an adaptor and car seat that I cannot use with the stroller I have. This goes against the Federal Trade Commission in the US and the Competition Bureau in Canada, not to mention has now cost a single mom hundreds of dollars. Finally, they do not provide any direct contact other than email, which they have conveniently ignored. It's one thing to realize a mistake in advertising that mislead customers but it is another. Terrible customer service isn't worth their products.
UPDATE* Mountain Buggy was quick to remove my reviews and posts on their social media and also took down their Ts22 product, yet can't respond to me as an affected customer.
Poor build quality – Buy something else. Mountain buggy used to be good but Phil and Ted purchase destroyed it. Build quality is terribly. Issues after 2 years are many and generally too heavy and wide for use. Warranty complaints just tell be that that's the way it is Show details

Great pram – Wanted to purchase a pram that could handle rougher terrain (gravel, grass, compacted sand), was easy fold and economical ... and if possible looked good too. We opted for the Mountain Buggy Cosmo and have had it for 6 months now with no complaints. It handles well and is easy to steer, on tougher terrain you do need to put a bit of effort… Read more
in but that's to be expected. Have taken it for short distances on gravel, grass and hard sand and long distances on the crumbling, uneven, honky nut strewn footpaths of my suburb. Handles them all fine.
Easy one hand fold, though you do need to detach seat if not world facing and it's not light so needs two hands to lift; I'm 5'10 and medium build so easy enough to lift into boot of my Honda CRV. Takes up about half the floor space of the boot. Also has a simple side clip that stops pram unfolding when lifting.
One of the best features is the quick and easy conversion from flat bed to seat mode. Our 6 month old likes to sit up and look around now but when he starts to get drowsy just release two clips and he's back in his cosy flat bed. Also good for when you have toddler and newborn and want to switch between the two. Bonus no need to store separate carry cot.
Hood is a bit flimsy and noisy (doesn't wake baby but always worried it might) and would be better if could adjust up the frame for taller tots. Hood is big enough in seat mode but could be a little longer for flat bed; for this reason we bought the sun/bug cover which works well.
Big basket, nice look and feel denim fabric, no puncture tyres.
When reviewing prams before purchase was concerned about how much the seat rocked on the frame, but it's not an issue at least not for my bubs, the more jiggle the better.
Extremely happy with the Pram – After searching for months for a pram that suited all my requirements at an affordable price this is the closest I could find... And I love it! This pram is incredibly easy to steer, even full and one handed! I used it during the royal show. I had a crying bub in one arm and the pram full of show bags, food etc and I could manover it through side… Read more · 1
show ally with ease.. It is incredibly easy to fold up and assemble one handed. I love how the seat turns into a bassinet and it has a huge basket... The pram is amazing to take on different surfaces to.. I have used it on pavers, gravel, grass and bitumen.. The pram handles with all with ease. The tyres are incredibly easy to lock and unlock.
Suggested improvements... I find that the canopy/shade bit is incredibly flimsy. It can't support a lot of weight so putting toys and covers on it can be a bit challenging.. Also the canopy is very limited... I would have loved for it to extend more to shade bubs from the sun. Also an option for a second seat would be extremely useful. I know there is the option to purchase a scooter attachment, but I'd prefer a seat... Also if the handle could adjust to different heights. It feels a little cheaply made compared to other prams.
Still, even with the suggestions I still am in love with this pram!! For the $799 it's much more affordable and user friendly then other prams.
Fantastic Stroller – One of the best purchases we've made in terms of baby products. Easy to manoeuvre, super quick to get out and fold up to put away and slim enough to get through aisles in stores. We own a mazda 3 sedan and a golf and it fits perfectly in the mazda however is a touch too big to close the boot in the golf but all we need to do it take one of the… Read more
rear wheels off which simply unclips with the push of a button and then slides back on and clips in place when we take it out.
Decent size compartment under pram to store bags bottle, etc.
Front wheels lock in place so if we're out and need to rock little one to settle the pram moves back and forth and doesn't sway left or right - great if you don't have a lot of room like at a function or restaurant (or you're half asleep yourself) because knocking the pram against a chair or wall can interrupt rocking motion and wake baby.
Only issue we've had is the foam handle got a cut in it somewhere along the track and has slowly gotten bigger which doesn't look very good. Contacted Mountain Buggy but it's not covered under warranty (they suggested putting a bit of tennis racquet handle strap on it but that will make it look cheap).
Overall a fantastic little pram.
Positive reviews
Nice pram, reasonable price – Bought pram in 2017, still like new in 2019. Steady, comfortable for my baby. Great that you can use it from birth, so you don't have to buy additional bassinet. Show details
Easy to use and looks great – Pram looked great, enough storage space and could be used in most terrain. I chose this due to the multiple ways in which you could move the seat, front and rear facing, along with multiple recline options and was not disappointed Show details
Great – This pram is big but so easy to fold and put in the car. I chose the red option for my bub when she was a baby. I loved the fact you could turn it into a bassinet but also a pram. the straps and wheels are sturdy. highly recommend
Negative reviews
Not of expected quality. Unsatisfied – Expected a better quality from such a big brand. But wrong. The basket isn't properly accessible with the bassinet on. The foot muff is a waste. It doesn't have any button or strap to hold it in place. The foot part flies of there is a heavy wing keeping baby exposed to all the sand and pollution outside. The canopy extension is not good. And no… Read more
mesh window for it. Overall unsatisfied. Should have gone for valco babyultra snap
Good side is easy to maneuver. And easy to fold
Nice to push – I purchased this pram online after reading all the reviews. This pram is amazing to push, even one-handed. Is great to take along tonpay all the bills and grab a few things from the shops as it has a lot of storage underneath. I loved how it converts from bassinet to pram to stroller. Simple recline action and a sturdy pram overall. What I… Read more
don’t like is the need to detach the seating from the base when rear facing when collapsing and putting into the car. Although it is reasonable simple to do, it is a hassle and made more awkward due to the weight of this pram which is rather heavy and does take up a lot of space. The sunshade is quite short so have used with the netting undone to extend the coverage but then need to place a blanket to block any sun or wind.
Overall this pram has done the job but looking back would not have purchased due to the weight, collapsing style and the large amount of room it takes in the back of car.
stylish but not great – Very nice looking pram with a sturdy feel and more conpact than otbers. The issue i had was the wheels/pram is quite wide so i dont fit through alot of checkouts also when folding out it wouldnt always lock in so it would collapse while attaching the main seat which was annoying and the wheels started to veer after a few months.

Great All Rounder Pram – As soon as I saw this pram and gave it a test run I knew that it was the one. The seat goes from a bassinet to rear facing to forward facing and is suitable from newborn stage which means there is no need to store a seat or bassinet while they are not in use. The pram is super easy to steer, even while walking a greyhound next to it and folds nice… Read more
and flat to fit in the car. It it easy to collapse and not too heavy to lift. The curbs are quite high in our neighbour and the pram can struggle to get over them at times, but overall performs well on grass, dirt, footpaths and the road. My daughter looks really comfortable in the pram and will even fall asleep without too much fuss. The front wheels lock to increase the performance on rough surfaces and also increases the comfort for our daughter. I have no regrets about buying this pram and will be keeping it for use for future children.
Love my MB Cosmopolitan! – We love our MB Cosmopolitan. It has really served us well on walks and at the shops and it we built to withstand a beating when loaded into and out of the car. Maneuvers well and doesn't topple over if turning too fast. at 12 kgs, it is a bit heavy for me but looks great and folds down easily enough

Good product! Value of money – It is easy to maneuver, but it is a little heavy for me. It is easy to fold and unfold. I choose this one because I can use it since my baby was born. She can sleep in it when she was born and I don’t need to buy another bassinet. The most important thing is that it is cheaper than most of strollers.
Love this pram – As someone who doesn’t drive this pram meets all my needs! Has great basket storage, 3 recline, forward facing and rear facing, great suspension and handles the terrain of walking everywhere exceptionally well. Front wheels lock and unlock. Easy to put down, comfortable for my son and liner easy to clean. It’s a shame it isn’t as popular as it should be. Only qualm is I wish the hood went down further. I have the cosmopolitan V2
Mostly love it. One issue – Firstly, I do really like this pram. I have been using it for 3 years now over 2 children and I'm still using it. It folds down easily, it's easy to steer one handed, it hasn't torn or faded and I love how it's so easy to change the seat into different positions. One thing I reeeeally don't like is the handle bar. I am 6 foot tall and I don't… Read more
find the handle is able to come up high enough to be really comfortable. Even fully extended it just doesn't feel right for me. I also wish the handle flatted out at the top like some other prams. Attaching an off the shelf pram caddy to the handles is odd and tends to make the caddy sit funny with it being on the angle.
Overall though, great pram.
It's OK – I've had my cosmopolitan for two years now and I've found it to be an OK pram - not one that I would either recommend or not recommend. Pros - I like the storage compartment underneath. I have not found the handle or any of the fabrics to fade or tear etc, they are still in excellent condition. It's wheels have never caused any problems… Read more
although manoeuvrability has been hard at times.
Cons - I do not like the snack tray you can purchase with it, it sits up way too high for the toddler to eat at comfortably. I have found the straps to be painful and never quite fitting correctly or effectively. I've found the sunshade to not be as lengthy as other prams. It's also been hard to manoeuvre.
Love this pram – Have been using it for the last 8 months now. Absolutely love this pram. It has the bassinet feature which you can use for a new born which is perfect. It also has three incline settings which is handy. The pram closes easily (it can be a bit heavy to lift once closed but you can easily separate the bassinet which makes it a lot lighter). Can be used in forward and rear and is very easy to maneuver. Wonderful pram!!
12 month old has outgrown the seat – I have the Luxury edition of the cosmopolitan. I loved this pram when my baby was tiny. However, I am disappointed that he has already outgrown the seat! His head touches the top of the hood. He is on the 98th percentile for height though. I spent a lot on this pram expecting it to last a few years, and he is only 12 months old and I have had to… Read more
buy a new stroller. I did very much love the pram though, it was lightweight for a pram of it's size and fit well in the boot of my car. It had plenty of storage space underneath and I was always getting comments about the fabric (being luxury edition it has the black and grey checkered fabric).
I was happy enough with the mountain buggy brand though that I have purchased the mountain buggy nano stroller for him, which has a much taller seat.
Perfect – I have had this pram for 3 years and has been perfect from day one with my first child up until he was a toddler and now still in use with my second baby. Super sturdy yet lightweight and so easy and quick to put together. Love the denim look and accessories that go with it.
great buy – I've had this pram for nearly 3 months now with my son and it's been a great so far, it has lie flat mode and toddler mode. It's easy to fold, unfold and carry and fits perfectly in my car. I use this nearly everyday and still in great condition, very happy
It's OK – I have been using this pram for two months and I find it a bit flimsy, I have already broken a bit of the plastic just putting the seat into stand. It is easy to maneuver & easy to fold down. Can buy great accessories for it. I am just not happy with quality for price paid.

Perfect pram! – We've been using our Mountain Buggy Cosmopolitan for over a year now and can't fault it. We loved having the built in bassinet option when bub was little and the flexible options for front or rear facing are great. Good size pram. Easy to maneuver and steer with one hand. Basket size is great. Pram just feels very sturdy overall. Pram has worn very well and still looks brand new despite almost daily use
Stylish and simplistic pram – This a a sturdy and compact pram, however can be difficult to maneuver with one hand. The thing I like best about it is it can be converted into a bassinet from a toddler's seat and you don't need to buy an extra bassinet. The basket underneath is a good size for some of your shopping bags. Can be folded using one hand. It occupies 1/2 of your boot though (I have a mazda 3), but I think most prams do.
Great pram – This pram has a nice sized basket, the seat is reversible and is fantastic that the seat can convert into a bassinet unlike most prams that require two different pieces. The recline is good, it has 3 positions in the seat then variety in the bassinet clips underneath the seat. Pretty easy to stear but is a little heavy
Overall great pram, fulfill its purpose :) – We bought this pram because we want a sturdy pram with large enough basket to carry groceries & baby items, also one that is not too bulky, that can be fold without separating the baby seat and the chassis. Overall this pram fulfill this purpose, and is quite value for money as it was only half price comparing to other comparable quality but… Read more
pricier brands (ie. bugaboo, silvercross etc) It is not the lightweight ones that can be easily maneuvered and carried in and out of car, however it's a sturdy one. The only thing we dislike about it is the width of the pram itself with its big wheels, often in the car park when cars are parked close to each other we could not push our pram through...
Not handy! – I don't think this pram was a good investment at all! Especially not for the price I paid for it. Firstly , the harness is so complicated to adjust for my son he's alway loose even my partner tried to tighten it but doesn't know how, also the wheels are really hard to turn around corners it's not a smooth ride and you definitely cannot move it… Read more
with one hand! It's so big and and takes up a lot of space in our car boot. It's big and not easy to carry or manoeuvre at all. It's bulky and bumpy. The only thing I enjoy about it is the carry basket underneath and the denim material. That is all.
Great pram – This pram is easy to maneuver being light to steer even with one hand. I like that it can convert from a bassinet for a newborn to upright for toddlers. The tyres being solid are good so there are not flat tyres . This is my third baby in this pram and the only fault I have and it is only a small one is that the material has faded slightly on the hood. I would definitely recommend this to anyone after a new pram.
All in one pram – This pram is great if you have limited space in your house. It can be transformed into a bassinet or sit up seat both rear and front facing so no need to purchase a separate bassinet. If hub falls asleep in sitting positing, you can lay it down. It is not compact to fold though, but still quite lightweight. Worth the purchase.
Good pram but not worth the price – My cosmopolitan was very hard to turn around corners and to steer in different directions It can be a bit bulky to unfold and fold. Also it is quite big - took up most of our boot space and we have a 4wd and leaving very little room for groceries The basket was nice and big though
It is the worst stroller I ever used! – Compare to other founctional strollers,Mountainbuggy cosmopolitan was good with an affordable price. However, It is very hard to control and heavy!!! You can't control it by one hand!! The design of the wheels is sucks! You can't imagine how hard to push it forward! For those who are considering of this stroller, Choose something else!
Great pram, long lasting and wears some abuse! – I'll be honest. I abused this pram somewhat. I would say I walk around 40 + km with it every week on all sorts of terrain, it regularly gets thrown into the car in a hurry and out again and it's withstood all of this with absolutely no problem. I've not had a problem with it on uneven ground at all, in fact I'm always amazed at what it does go on.… Read more
I'm really happy with it. I also got the bassinet which I loved while my baby was small. It is way more comfortable and roomy for the little ones. I was happy to go back to the regular seat however as the bassinet does take up a lot of room.
Great Pram – I have found this pram to be amazing! The seat folds into a bassinet which makes it very easy to take out of the house and use when my child needs a rest. The large carry basket is also a bonus however I have found that if you put a couple of things in it, it does become a little harder to steer. This is a great pram! Would recommend to anyone.
A very expensive mistake ... I'm going back to my BJ City Elite – I sold my BJ City Elite to purchase this pram and I regret it dearly. It stumbles and trips on pavements and curbs, gets stuck on gravel and grass and don't even think about taking it over sand. The bassinet doesn't lay flat and it takes up all the boot space. I chose it as it is much lighter than the BJ Elite and doubled as a bassinet and chair… Read more
... But even that is difficult to change around.
It's rickity, flimsy, can't tackle any terrain other than cement pavements. Very disappointed ... I'm going back to Baby a Jogger.☹️
Versitile and high quality – A fantastic looking pram, I get lots of compliments! I previously had a Baby Jogger and compared to that this pram's suspension and maneuverability are amazing. Love the fact that it goes from a basinette to a toddler seat - great to take to friends etc when away from home to use as a portable bed. Only con, which doesn't bother me too much, is the size of this when folded (very big! Esp compared to Baby Jogger).
