Mountfords will not accept their own gift cards online - you have to use them in store only. How ridiculous is that! In 2025, 5 yrs after covid, these ripoff merchants sell you a gift card you can't use online. They used to be a good shoe shop in 1966, but now they are just a pathetic joke. Note that there is nothing written on the gift card limiting it's usage to instore, and I can find no pertinent advice on their website - you have to ring support when you can't enter the gift card details online. Stay away from this company. They deserve to go out of business.

Joshua. He was so polite and patient - nothing was too much trouble and he enjoys helping customers. We found him very knowledgeable and he helped do up a really tight zip on one of the shoes we tried on in between making sure we had exactly the right size shoes. Joshua is an asset to your brand. He was assisting many customers, sometimes simultaneously, but most efficiently. We hope you can reward him in some way, as he made our shopping experience so much better, and with no delay we got back to our car before the meter expired.

Went to the Bourke St store to buy a particular pair of shoes I really wanted. Got told they had sold out, the shop assistant looked up their inventory and told me all pairs across the company had been sold. Found plenty of pairs online.

I had never heard of Mountfords and saw all the 5 star and 1 star reviews. However they had in stock my rare as hen's teeth Rockports and I received them in good order 800km away within 36 hours. I was so pleased that I immediately ordered a 2nd pair. Most impressed. Show details

If you want to save your money and time never agree to online delivery from Mountfords shoes. They send you substandard second hand shoes ( one shoe is bigger than the other) and charge for delivery. Customer service - non existent, the staff is really unfriendly. Show details

Shocking after sales lack of customer service – Ordered shoes online and recieved very quickly so very happy but that's where it ends. They were a size too big so tried to return online and had to get Tresha to help and she manually typed in as still showing at shipping. time. I asked her if I could reorder in the correct size and she said yes. So I attempted to reorder but called up to ask how does the system work re refund and that's where I spoke to Seres who was one of the most unhelpful customer services can't do operators I have ever spoken to. It was the first time at Mountfords and it will be the last time. I would not recommend as they advise they will honour the price and that you can order straight away but you can't. I would definitely tell potential customers that although the shoes look great the can't do approach and confusing returns policy is not worth the effort. I will never shop again here. Very Very disappointing customer service. Seres has no customer service manner and should not be in the position she holds as she felt comfortable to antagonise me and not offer clear solutions. Would have given a zero star and will shop locally and in store.

Terrible quality shoes. Even worse customer service. DO NOT BUY – Awful customer service. I sent an enquiry about faulty shoes. Emails have been unanswered for weeks. Phone calls not taken seriously. When I finally got through to customer service they said my emails went to their spam folder for 10 days. Still no reply after 3 weeks. Quality of shoes are terrible. Do not buy from Munro/ Mountfords. Waste of money and time.

pairs due to weight . Imagine my annoyance when the stud rivet holding the ankle.strap broke ! Given my main luggage we was packed I had little choice but to limp on for half the day until I got my luggage. Then on arrival into UK I had to find a shoe.repair place that obviously didn't have same studs so had to replace with alternative. I contacted company with evidence of repair and they had the audacity to send me £5 converted to dollar ! I advised I actually want them replaced given not much wear and tear and I have been advised that because I have worn them they cannot replace . So from this I infer only shoes not worn will be replaced , so faulty manufactured shoes that cannot withstand normal or less than normal wear and tear won't be ! I I also pointed out that this did not take into account inconvenience . They have offered me a $20 good will voucher in return for faulty sandal ! . For a shoe store selling quality foot wear I expected better than this.

GREAT SERVICE – Mountfords Shoes is "my go to" for shoes to fit my long, narrow foot. I have found their service to be amazing especially for fast free postage, and free, no hassle returns. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find AA sizes in Australia and, although Mountfords doesn't carry specific AA sizes, they carry various quality brands that tend to be narrow. Show details

I will not give these people my business – I phoned to ask for advice regarding my very hard to fit feet. The woman tat the Glen store was rude, cold and completely unhelpful and her attitude brought me to tears. She implied that I CHOOSE to buy only very wide shoes - this is not a choice. It is a need. What I would not do to have the choice!!! I will not go to this store even though I desperately need a couple of pairs of shoes. I do not wish to be humiliated and denigrated in person!

Shoes to live in – The shoes I buy from mountfords are like gloves for your feet, I wear them all day every day in fact this is my fourth pair for work and worth every cent, your feet will never ache or hurt, they are quite simply the best, arcopedico, amazing shoes! Do your feet a favour !!!
