Well, they didn't turn up the next day and I made numerous phone calls to different Movee phone numbers over the following 2 - 3 hours with no response. The pick up address was getting angrier and angrier with me as they were leaving for overseas the following day and the furniture had to be gone that day. I was forced to book another removalist at an exorbitant fee ($2,500 for 3 hours work) as it was a Sunday and a last minute booking. I was so distressed that I actually experienced the first panic attack in my life. Not only this, but there was damage to the lift and walls at the pick up address and damage to the furniture and walls at my end. The only recompense I later received was the $60 booking fee. Do yourself a favour and NEVER use this company - AWFUL.
Avoid at all costs. 2 guys rocked up in a van instead of a truck. They clearly were not professional removalists and struggled to move larger items like tables. was shorter than me and looked unhappy to be even be there in the first place. They said they had to do multiple trips, took 4 hours to dismantle/pack/unpack the first trip and we are moving 10 mins away. I must have called and spoke to the “company” multiple times or so, the only positive I got was able to negotiate the price of the move down on the guarantee (which I also got in writing) that the job would be completed, but they vanished without a trace as soon as I made the payment. Instead of making it a crime or kidnapping to solve, I just said to myself, let me cut my loss and have organised another mover to finalise the absolute trash storm of a job these two geniuses left in their wake of terror. I’ve attached photos of items that were left at our old place with timestamped evidence. I’ve also reported this business to the NSW govt as they are absolute scam artists. The items shown and TV cabinet behind TV were supposed to come on the last trip which weren’t picked up at all and left overnight at the old place. I’ve also got plenty of photos of the trash storm that was left at our new place, we had to end up getting a hotel room overnight before a different removalist company completed the move and re-assembles all our furniture.
I think a starfish has more brain cells than the two “humans” I met yesterday, one looked 40-50 and claimed to be 18. You can imagine my shock at that response. I’m a migrant myself and not being racist, but in this instance, I strongly believe I just witnessed multiple people from another country, who have come to chase the Australian dream but have exhausted all pathways in life, probably had to scam their way through into the country and now scamming people within the country. I worry for Australia’s future and our society’s future.
Job time - 10 hours (8AM - 6:15PM). Actual job time estimate - 5 hour job I know the timeframe as 7 months ago, we moved with the same items and the distance was much further. We used a different removalist and they were done by 2:30pm.

Dreadful experience – The guys assigned to my task were so careless. Every single item of furniture was marked or broken. Rips in settee. Company won’t respond. The guys who did the 1 bed unit move also won’t return calls. Very disappointing and actually heartbroken at the loss of my mum’s stuff.

Throughout the day that they were supposed to do the move, and then on the morning of the day they actually arrived they tied me up in phone calls as they blundered around failing to do their one job. Scammers! Got a quote, took the offer, then added 70% to the original quote once accepted. As a result i cancelled service after paying 15% deposit of which now is apparently non refundable.... complete crooks who fail to communicate effectively. call to say they would be there by 10 but the first load was not there until after lunch we were told they had a personal appointment to attend to and we should think ourselves lucky as usually they don’t work Friday. They took breaks refused to bring furniture past the garage to place it in its location. On top of this I was over charged and infact my card was charged without any consultation. Matters have not been resolved. They give a cheap quote but then don’t deliver on what they say and take more time and over charge. Go with a more reputable company as they will do a better and more efficient job and cost less in the end.

it's 4 pm now. The second call was to say after 5. The 3rd call was the bill payment at 6:34 pm approximately.
So they don't waste time submitting the invoice only to offer.
Really poor Services & communication.

I worked as a subcontractor for this company, and approximately $15,000 was unfairly taken from my earnings. I have already lodged a complaint with Fair Trading. I would advise customers to be cautious and aware of this company and the scams
We couldn't be more disappointed with the men who came to help us with our move. They were 2.5 hours late, one man hardly did any work, the other one was slow and our daughter's partner did most of the work, loading the truck, and unloading at the other end, in the dark. even before arriving at the drop off home. They would not leave until payment was made, and they harrassed us all via face to face, email and constant phone calls. I gave 1 star because I couldn't leave the review without it. They also dropped the clothes dryer when loading it on the truck, and dinted our fridge.

The situation only got worse from there. They held my furniture hostage until payment was made, which felt like outright blackmail. To make matters worse, funds were deducted from my account without my knowledge or consent. I later discovered that this is not a legitimate local business. Despite claiming to be based in Melbourne, it appears to be operated offshore with telemarketers misrepresenting their location. I was also informed that the removalist who showed up had not even been paid by them.
I have reported this company to the NSW Ombudsman and strongly believe they are not a legitimate business and are taking advantage of everyday customers.
