Mr Muscle Odourless Oven Cleaner

Useless! – Sprayed into oven which was not unduly dirty but had baked on grease marks that needed removing. After 15 minutes, wiped off. ZERO effect, so sprayed again and left for half an hour (recommended maximum time). ZERO effect. This product has had no effect on cleaning the oven or the oven supports. absolute rubbish – After 3 hours, nothing happened, I was only cleaning the glass door of the oven, and the original oven cleaner would have it clean in 30 minutes. If this Mr Muscle was on the beach, I wouldn't hesitate to kick sand in it;s face......Phil. of Tyabb Victoria. Show details

Useless product – Found the non caustic version of Mr muscle oven c leaner absolutely useless. Plus the added fact that it had to be on for 24 hours. Never again shall I try it.

Other reviews had me worried but it worked well – My Smeg oven was a year old and had baked on black grease over the floor and walls. steel wool on the stubborn bits. I had to scrub it a lot, but had tried scrubbing with vinegar before using Mr muscle and the grime wouldn't budge. I was very happy with the Mr muscle and it didn't smell bad.

I'm a health professional dealing with women's hormones and fertility so using the least toxic option is important, especially when product residue might come into contact with food.

The caustic, high chemical version of Mr muscle may well work better as others have said in their reviews, but who wants to breathe in toxic health disrupting chemicals?

I'm super happy and will use it again. Oven looks brand new and I roast meat and oily Veggies in it twice a week - oven was well dirty!

inside but I left it for about seven hours longer than it should have and it dried onto the surfaces, a no-no according to the instructions.

I armed myself with a bucket of warm water and a sponge with a scratchy pad on one side, plus a paint scraper which was handy to gently scrape tough spots from the glass door. Nearly everything came off very easily, I was impressed. A couple of patches were harder to shift but the door ended up looking like new, the interior was almost as good.

I'm giving it a 5 star rating because it still worked after years of sitting in the can and then being applied incorrectly to a very dirty oven.

Tedious but Less Obnoxious Fumes – Roast Pork for me means oven cleaning soon afterwards… The splatter from pork fat goes into every nook and cranny, especially the roof of my (new) S/Steel Microwave/Convection Oven. Although Mr Muscle is non-Caustic, has less fumes – odourless, it is more time consuming due to its use in a cold oven only 4 – 12hours.

Considering I only apply the foam for 2 ½ hours into a cold oven the results are on par with the cheaper caustic brands as some baked on residue will remain, yet I don’t have those prevailing obnoxious toxic fumes to inhale, which is more my concern.

I also use this product, only on the base of my Baccarat Cookware (although not recommended) as I find the non-caustic formula doesn’t tarnish, damage or corrode any of my pots and frypans to date. Non-Caustic, less obnoxious fumes than caustic brands… Made in Australia Time consuming

Excellent for a Variety of Cleaning Tasks – Not only does Mr Muscle Odourless Oven Cleaner do a good job on the oven and stainless steel cooktop, I have also found it to be an outstanding product when cleaning the glass and surrounds of our inbuilt wood heater....just spray over the black-stained glass, leave for several minutes then clean off with a damp scoured sponge. Being odourless was a massive advantage as you don’t feel like your killing your lungs while you clean.

100% would buy again.

Used to be fantastic – We have used mr muscle for years. It used to be brilliant for cleaning ovens and slow combustion fire doors but now as the formula has been changed (NON CAUSTIC) it’s not worth using. Like all products when changed that go from fabulous to pathetic.  Show details

Absolutely disappointing - Wasted my time with this product – Heaps of warnings about the product being toxic to skins, eyes, breathing it in, etc...yet ironically on the can it states 'Odourless oven cleaner'. As much use as a chocolate teapot – It was useless , my 2 ovens were installed 4 weeks ago 1of which was barely used. It lifted off none of the dirt I ended up scrubbing the oven with a bleach type cleaner. Also left a white residue that took several rinces to remove. Show details

Worked magic on my Miele oven – Was dubious when reading the instructions as it was to do its work in 30 minutes but, nah, wiped a year's worth of roast grime off so easily I couldn't believe it. Do not Buy this product – Mr Muscle oven cleaner was the worst product i have used. It didn't take ANY dirt or grime off . I now have to buy another oven cleaner. Waste of moneye

Don’t buy it-Doesn’t work – My husband read through the directions. Followed them to the letter. Didn’t work. Waste of money and good time. Wondering be trying this again. It’s so disappointing. Made more mess than anything

It doesnt work, you do – Left the product on for 10 hours. Went to clean it and all that came off was the foam. I end up having to scrub the whole thing myself and it was hard to get the foam out of all the nooks and crannies. Should have saved 12 hours and just scrubbed it from.the start.

and scrub with hot water and jiff cleanser to get all the crap off it. I swear after all that work i should have brought the other brand as it's like acid and strips everything known to man from your oven floor and sides. Anything that says odorless or non toxic forget about it. Seriously this one is a scam for your money. Why can't we give 0 stars. As i just read sellys is the go for sure, damn it.

I worked more than Mr. Muscle did – I scrubbed more why my oven got cleaned. Too bad, it also caused abrasions to my oven's surface. I was kind of unhappy because my oven will not be the same again.

Does not work – Used on a brand new oven' only used once to roast leg. Burnt on residue unaffected, did not do anything, same with second application, no success. Customer care had no advice.

Useless, did not work – I followed the instructions perfectly and it did not work so I did it again-oven still dirty. A waste of my money but more frustratingly my time. Grrrrrrr so mad that I didn't buy the competitor brand- I will tomorrow.

Useless product – Didn't clean oven, didn't even shift slight buildup on bottom of saucepans. Will go back to similar product in red can which is fantastic tho strong smelling, just tried me muscle because it said odourless, should have added powerless too!

Works really well – This cleaned my oven to a sparkly finish. I had purchased it because my supermarket had run out of the regular Mr Muscle and then I was worried about what result I would get due to the reviews. I need not have been concerned, it was great and there are no awful fumes. The only thing I would say is because it does take a long time to work it's best to do it when you can leave it overnight.

Useless product, don't waste your money – I have tried two applications of this oven cleaner, once for four hours and then next day for twelve. Even will good Ol' fashion elbow grease it did nothing and my oven was not super dirty to begin with. Ended up using jif and found it was more effective.

unsatisfactory product – What happened to the original product. Latest one is useless - doesn't do anything. Was only 3 months ago since last clean. Original product before this one worked well. .

Non Caustic supposedly!!! – I used this to clean the oven in a new rental property due to an inspection. The fumes have eaten away at the surface covering the stainless steel! Now I need to replace the whole oven!!!!!

Useless product.. Don't waste your time and money – I normally use the Selleys product, but it was out of stock at our IGA. The Selleys oven cleaner can b used in hot or cold oven and wipes out without requiring any scrubbing. This product has to be used in a oven that has been cold for 24 hours and it does basically nothing to the even minor oven grime. Be warned .. it is USELESS

not happy with this product at all – Im not a happy customer at all i have now spent the last 2 days scrubbing my oven the other Product i normally use works awesome just smells so thought i would try mr muscle cos is odourless but i will never use it again cos was a huge waste of time and money witch i dont have so thanks a lot for nothing

Does not work – what a waste of money followed directions closely left on for 6 hours did nothing.so gave it all another coat and left over night results were terrible.Went and purchased a different brand and job done.Mr muscle is useless in my opinion and I wont be purchasing that brand ever again not a thing time wasting useless product

hrs). I went and purchased a competitors caustic brand. Hey presto! Clean oven. Won't be purchasing Mr Muscle again unless they revert to the old caustic formula. Nothing It does not work.

Very Dissappointed – I used 3 cans of the Mr Muscle. Still very grimy. The silver racks did not come up well at all. I left it on for about 5 hours the last time. hated it. Was such as waste of time. Even with a scraper and steel wool it still didnt left it enough for the grime to come off. As if that job is not bad enough. Have to have another go and will not be using this brand. Shame too as it is Australian Needed a lot of scraping and still didnt work.
