This version of the mattress was available exclusively at Snooze until April 2018. It was then redesigned and made available at Forty Winks from May 2018 onwards.
Great aussie mattress – This mattress is amazing! Plus the fact that it is Australian made is awesome! The bed is so comfy, I used to have a sealy but it was bad! Bought this at Snooze about 4 years ago and its still good! Show details
Good mattress – Very comfy mattress I really like to stay on it longer than I need, my partners also really like it! The price was a shock at first but the sleep made it worth while. Show details
Not the quality I had hope for – We have been sleeping on this mattress for 4 years and we haven't been happy from the moment it arrived. Straight away I noticed how hot we felt sleeping on the mattress so I bought a super think mattress topper from Sheridan which alleviated the problem. We also had the pillow top replaced immediately after delivery because the way it had been… Read more
stitched at the top of the bed made our pillows slope backwards. We were then pulling our pillows down away from the top of the bed to sleep and our feet were hanging off the bottom.
For anyone wondering if the mattress softens, it most certainly does. Almost too much, I can now sleep comfortably on my husbands red/firm side.
What is most disappointing is what I call the rolling hills in our mattress. Clearly, I understand that any mattress is going to sink over time but I would genuinely say I have never seen a mattress with so much noticeable sinking. There is now a clear vertical lump down the middle of our bed. It's even noticeable with a huge mattress topper, mattress protector and quilt over the top of it.
I still have my receipt and will be looking to follow up on the warranty soon. Failing that, I look forward to the next few years passing by quickly so I can justify replacing this mattress.
Horrible horrible horrible - causes major back and leg pain (sciatica) – This is the worst mattress I have ever slept on and I am ashamed to have bought it. We got a great deal - Series 2 Gold/Blue for ~$800 down from $2000 (they say). Then again, no one has ever bought a mattress for full price, right? This mattress has caused me major back and leg pain, and also contributed to sweating at night and even pins-and-needles. So bad! Show details

Worst Mattress Ever! Shouldn't Have Been Sold It – Salesperson sold us a gold/blue series 2 to go on a timber slat base, that we asked and were told this mattress was suitable for. After reading the instruction booklet found out the warranty was void because we didn't have a centre timber support. I have neck and back issues and after almost 7 years I can't take anymore of the overheating,… Read more
restless sleep and extreme pain in my neck, shoulders, lower back, hips and legs. It has oddly sagged profusely in the middle of my back area and I'm sleeping in a hole. The timber slats on my soft side now bow and I'm 35 kgs lighter than my husband who sleeps on the firm side. We had used this timber bed with another mattress for over 10 years with no problems. So now we have to replace the mattress and base. Not happy!
Absolute garbage and sagging is disgusting – Saiesman knew I had back issues with fusion but still proceeded to sell me this mattress, wish I read the reviews before I made the purchase Show details

Too hard not like the one in the store at all – The topper isn’t thick anymore so bed is as hard as s rock Spoke to snooze and they also ordered the wrong color .. I got red not blue One costly piece of crap Show details
Worst mattress sore neck with in 3 months – Bed was sagging a little after 3 months and my neck became problematic. Didn’t think it was the bed at the time . 1 year later bed is sagging a lot and am at the Physio every week . I eventually went into Snooze last week and complained about the mattress . I had lost my sales docket and they looked it up and it was only then that I found out that… Read more
I had bought a discontinued mattress . It was never mentioned at point of sale.
What was mentioned at point of sale was that we wanted a very firm mattress that would not get dents easily . We have turned the bed religiously ever 2 weeks and lately every week . This has not helped at all with the dips .
I have received an email from KINGDDOWN AUSTRALIA that makes the mattress. In short they have said the dents have to be 3.5 deep before they will consider the bed a warranty failure
I will be contacting them next week . They have asked me to lay a straight edge object (they suggested a broom handle ) and take a pic.
Sleep maker at least send someone out virtually straight away and they did admit at the time that the dents were below the standard allowance and they had it picked up and returned in 24 hours. That is good service .
I would not shop at Snooz again due to the information failure to me.... the buyer.
Our bed has not performed as we would expect a $1800 mattress to perform . The mattress was originally $3200.
I look forward to seeing what KINGDOWN will do and will get back to this site to advise
Regards

worst – Sagging already after 1 month. Why is series 2 still being sold by Snooze if this product has been discontinued? Very uncomfortable and very disappointed in the sales person at Snooze. Will never purchase from them again or recommend the store. Show details
Worst MATTRESS!!! Don't buy! – I have had this awful mattress for 4 years or more, but because of how much it was I have been dealing with all the issues that has come with this product. I have never had back problems until a few years ago (not long after purchase) now I'm on my 2nd year of pain injections. When you have someone come out because of the warranty- they find all… Read more
ways to not want to help replace the crapSide. Just wondering if anyone else who got suckered into this, what did you do? Buy a new one or try to add a mattress topper to try and get a few (I'd say days) years out of it??
Worst mattress – Definitely not what the names says not sleeping to live Purchased series two mattress 7 years ago red and blue sides after about 4years blue side started sinking in felt like you were in hole. etc. got the new mattress it's now like I'm sleeping on the floor waking up with a sore back every morning. Spoke to customers service said this is the firmest mattress we have chosen I said its nothing like the one we have chosen at the shop she said the one at the shops have been there 7-8 months so are softer although people don't spend 8hours a night on these very misleading and very disappointed to have not gotten something I would have thought or should have been getting like the shop thought this is the whole idea of going into try again!

Worst Mattress! – After a few months the mattress gave me intense leg numbness and tingling feet and an aching back. My chiropractor told me the mattress was damaging my spine and playing havoc with my circulation. I've already had the warranty person come and check the mattress for faults, but I already knew the only fault was that I had purchased a very… Read more
uncomfortable and non supportive mattress which was a complete waste of money! Ended up donating it to an op shop and feel very sorry for the person who buys it! I wish I had received a bit of my money back to purchase a better mattress but reading everyone else's reviews, it seems I am not the only one who has been ripped off!

Waste of money – Never usually write reviews but needed to warn people to not purchase this mattress, wish I did more research before I did. I've had this mattress now for over a month and have woken up every morning with back pain I never previously had and also causing me to miss sleep during the night. Really uncomfortable and I paid so much money, I feel completely ripped off. This company really need to look into this Show details

Know better, choose better.
Deceived and ripped off – I'm so glad to see we're not the only ones who are so upset with the waste of money spent on this product. To be fair, half of the mattress deserves 5 stars, but the other half is absolutely awful. It feels like you're sleeping on a sloping hill and the softer side seems much narrower than the other side. Like other reviews, you can't turn the… Read more
mattress over. I am so angry that we got duped into buying a product that we cannot use. We may as well cut it in half and throw the soft, sloping side away. What a waste of money. We have resorted to using our older mattress which was being used in a guest bedroom. although firmer (not ideal), it feels like heaven in comparison, because it is even, can be flipped and isn't going to dip. I now have to spend more money to purchase a foam mattress topper for some softness. Snooze should refund us unhappy customers. The product is not faulty, it's just a ridiculous design at an exorbitant cost with no recourse. And please don't post a reply with the same scripted rubbish you've replied on others' reviews. You should offer our money back and beamed from selling these duds.
Just awful – It starts great, but within a few months, my side dips, the middle is like a hill and you can't turn it over to balance out the body imprint. I wish I'd never bought this. An expensive nightmare that can't be exchanged. Show details

Biggest mistake – Same as other reviews thought we had found perfect bed. 3 months later it was terrible my wife's side is way to soft and my side now feels like concrete. after 18 months we have had to replace it. Very disappointed given what we paid ..series 2 green.

Worst Mattress Ever – It was wonderful for 6 months and then it became the most uncomfortable thing you could imagine. More like a torture device than a bed. We tried to get it replaced under warranty but of course according to them there is nothing wrong with it. So for a fee we can pay for it to be sent back to the factory and for a further fee pulled apart and a new… Read more
side put on.
We currently have a red/blue and they will change it to blue/green. There is no way I'm paying for this frankenstein manoeuvre, which won't help as both sides are uncomfortable now.
I don't know how changing one side will solve anything. The money can be better spent on a new better matress.
We are thinking of the Sleeping Duck Titan. I hope it lives up to the rave reviews. I wish I had read them before buying the lemon that is the my side mattress!

Not good, not bad – This review is for a MySide Series 2 mattress. I've had one of these since 2012. Overall, it seems like a decent good mattress. I find it comfortable for back sleeping. It seems very solid. It doesn't make any noise, and the springs don't poke into you because of the foam top. It's also quite good at isolating movements from each person on the… Read more
bed.
However, I've also found some problems with it after using it for a while. I find it very heavy, so it's actually hard to tuck sheets and blankets under it. Obviously this depends on the build of the person making the bed. I'm not very strong.
I also noticed that it can get hot. If I wake up hot, it can get sweaty and hard to cool down. With a cheap spring mattress I have previously used, I don't remember having this problem. It's probably due to the foam.
The foam also develops imprints. I don't see them, but I have found that the surface of the mattress becomes uneven when used for a while due to these. The imprinted spots seem a bit harder. These symptoms aren't too noticeable, but I have become aware of them over time. Imprints generally seem to be advertised as a feature, but I haven't found it useful; it seems like a problem being presented as a feature.
I also feel that the mattress is a bit lower at around the edges rather than the same height as the rest of the mattress. If I sleep with my arm out, the elbow gets sore because of this.
Unfortunately, I have also found that this mattress is too hard for me when I sleep on my side. I alternate between back and side sleeping throughout the night, and I generally wake up with sore shoulders. Sometimes I wake up due to the soreness when I'm on my side. I also woke up with a sore hip because of the hardness of the mattress once or twice. This problem seems to be associated with having the mattress on a flat, firm base rather than a slat base.
The issue of the mattress hardness isn't necessarily the fault of the mattress; I could have bought a softer one. It seemed fine when I first tried it out at a store, but after sleeping on it and developing imprints, the problem has become noticeable.
I haven't used a lot of different mattresses, but I think you could get something better for the price. I feel that this is a mattress I've paid a premium for only to trade off the problems of cheap mattresses for a different set of problems. Comfortable, noiseless, low partner disturbance, seems durable Very heavy, can get hot, memory foam imprints, too hard for prolonged side-sleeping, price
Loved it at the start but now wishing I had looked at the reviews first – We purchased a green/gold mattress, the sales person in snooze was very helpful and we were impressed we had finally found a mattress that was good or us both. Loved it at first but after 6 months my back/neck pain returned. Distrupted sleep, did not question the mattress at first however on closer inspection the softer side, my side, has dipped… Read more

lower back pain gone in 3 nights – As a single female I bought a queen gold/blue as ex shop floor demo for a big saving. The first night I felt my spine adjust in a good way. I slept longer & at a recent gym assessment, my measurement for straight leg, bend from hip to push the indicator with my fingertips has improved by 10cos. No tight lower back. from me. I can sit up & read on the firm side & roll over into blissful slumber on the other... Even half way is really comfortable!
Emitts noxious gas – This is a comfortable enough bed but what you won't be told is that the foam used in its manufacture emits noxious gas which never seems to go away. Check out the web reports of "off gassing" by memory foam mattresses. After purchase you may be told to air the mattress for a period of time but are unlikely to get an admission that this problem is real. It does make some people extremely ill.

6 months of pain – I bought My Side on recommendation by 2 sales staff and a simulation test. 2 months in, it sagged and the retailer and manufacturer attributed it to the slat base and the fact that I slept in the middle. The base compatibility had 'never' been raised prior and I had told the sales person how I slept. I have since purchased centre support legs and… Read more
the pillow top was replaced, but the mattress still sags. 6 months in, multiple discussions, sleeping on the floor then a replacement mattress, continuously aching back - only to be back where I started. This is the worst retail experience that I have ever had.
