They say on their website that their Decaf Coffee Pods are the most delicious-tasting decaf coffee on the Australian market, and this is true!! It's organic, it's delicious, it's not too strong but not watery, it's fresh, it's Australian and it's well priced. Ticks all my boxes.
Does not publish unfavourable reviews. This company is a joke, I got some absolutely awful coffee from this place, left a review that I confirmed and it was never published. This is why all of the coffee they sell has 5 star reviews. Do not trust this company, roasting dates are a sham, cheap beans and terrible coffee. Buyer beware.
Terrible service …… how are they still in business? I ordered some Mexican decaf beans and they sent Honduras ones. As you can’t phone them I filled in the contact form…..nothing back. Wrote again, no reply so wrote for a third time and yes …..silence! So I’m left with the wrong product and am out of pocket by over $36. Never again and I hope people will respond to the bad service and ignorance accordingly.

Unacceptable serviCe – I've been a regular MyCuppa customer since 2012. Yesterday I chose my usual 3 x 1kg bags of beans. For some reason the usual free postage was not being offered or displayed, so I paused the order and asked whether the policy had changed via the supplied web page. More than 24 hours later I had heard nothing back, so I phoned the supplied 1300… Read more
number and left a message requesting a call-back. More than 5 hours later I had still not heard anything. I was unimpressed with this lack of response, especially since the company's regular newsletters often complain at length about the poor service it receives from its couriers (comments which I am sure are completely justified). So tonight I tried phoning again. This time I did manage, eventually, to get through to a human, almost certainly the owner. I tried to ask my question about postage. I was interrupted several times, shouted at and sworn at. Essentially I was told there was no problem with their web site and that I must have misread their order page, and that I was solely to blame for my problems. Exit one long-term customer. The attached screenshhot shows each item and its price, plus postage (which should be zero).

Not a review of coffee but how they talk to customers – I wrote about to them about Australia post about sending a parcel via cairns (delivery Brisbane area). They say in there terms and conditions not to use sendle for residential addresses because they get a surcharge for this and only only commercial so I did not. The reply I received is below. Make up your own mind. Francis Your coffee was sent… Read more
promptly. Barely 2hrs after you placed the order and it was freshly roasted earlier that morning. But you already know this fact as you received a dispatch notification. Most semi-intelligent people already understand that senders have absolutely no control over how parcels travel through the networks. You can raise a complaint with AusPost. They don't listen to us as we complain every day, in fact for the last 14 years ! Finally, by the way - You had a choice in the checkout for auspost or sendle (fastway/couriers please). You chose auspost ! That's rather embarrassing Francis that you have dumped on us and complained about not offering alternatives when in fact you made the decision to use AusPost. 70% of our customers choose Sendle. Customer (YOU) chooses the shipper - not us. No need to apologize for blasting us when it's not our fault. I've closed your access to our store, go elsewhere in future.
My Go-To Team For World-Class Coffee – A friend suggested I try MyCuppa.com.au. Being big coffee nerd, I tried them out. Wow. Am I glad I did. They have a superb range of beans and - refreshingly - discuss the sources, how the beans are procured, and report on trends in the global coffee supply chain. They appear to be highly ethical in the in sourcing too. Importantly, their beans… Read more
are always freshly roasted. I've been purchasing from them for more than 3 years now. While I've settled on a particular blend, I do change up my orders from time to time with their monthly 'surprise' beans and also single-source speciality beans. Like a heavy chocolate tone? They got a blend for that! Want a citrus finish? Sure! Enjoy caramel and berry undertones. Sure. Which such a wide variety, they have a bean for every taste. It's like buying fine wines! But having great coffee at a good price is not enough for a 5 star review. Why they get that extra star is that when I screwed up my order's mailing address, they called me to check. They caught MY mistake rather than just 'following orders.' This shows an attention to customer service we do not always see online.
Unsure about other's comments, but I can definitely vouch for the coffee – I have found MyCuppa to offer some fantastic coffees and easy service. Initially we (my partner and I) worked through a variety until we hit on something we really loved. The Columbian Excelso is an organic, fair trade, single origin coffee with heaps of chocolate flavour and plenty of strength that worked fabulously in our flat whites or lattes.… Read more
It was genuinely giving us a better coffee than we could get in most coffee shops.
For a couple of years we always ordered the Excelso. It was consistent and always hit the spot. Then we thought we should mix it up and try out the Monthly Subscription for a while. The subscription delivers a two different specialty coffees every month.
We've been on the subscription for almost a year now. For the most part, we've really enjoyed it; not every bean is our favourite, but it's opened our palates to other flavours too and we've found some amazing coffees. I still remember the Papua New Guinea, honey washed beans that were simply AMAZING - full of fruity flavours that blew us away. This was possibly the best coffee bean I've ever tried. We wouldn't have found it if I'd just stuck with our usual order.
I understand the subscription might be coming to an end because of their admin costs; all I can say is I hope they manage to keep it going.
The coffee always arrives in a couple of days, and has always been roasted in the last few days. We've had no problems with MyCuppa... ever. And we've been buying from them for nearly five years! Highly recommended.
Positive reviews
Fantastic coffee always with so much choice. Can't believe people giving them negative reviews because delivery fails. Delivery is not the issue of the company it's Australia Post or Sendle people should be following up poor delivery with. Excellent service from mycuppa
great coffee - good service – I have used mycuppa for over 7 years and tried a large number of their blends and single origin. Have found my go to variety and never disappointed. Delivery to me (QLD)has been very acceptable and always within 5 days. The one time my order was incorrectly completed (1 bag of 9) the matter was easily and obligingly corrected. Great coffee - and for me - great service - I won't be going anywhere else!
Never had a problem; very fast delivery – Coffee arrives very promptly (within 72 hrs, Melbourne to Sydney) and is great value yet great quality. In 3 years I have never had a delivery delay, but when it happens I'll be sure to blame the carrier, not the sender. *shrugs*
Negative reviews
Owner doesn't stand by delivery - if something doesn't go to the right place, it's always someone else's problem. Latest purchase (1 kg of Kenyan) roasted way too dark for a single origin... disappointing.
Very very disappointing! – I started buying coffee capsules just before they changed/upgraded their equipment and it was really good coffee. So I waited months for capsules to become available again and ordered 100… big mistake! The coffee tastes terrible!
Poor customer service – I was previously a regular customer of My Cuppa. Their coffee was nothing amazing but it was well priced and generally they delivered on time. When I had an order go missing and sought their assistance, not only would they not help, they were quite rude and arrogant in every interaction we had. Looking at other reviews, this experience is not… Read more
unique. Needless to say, I am no longer a customer of My Cuppa, having moved to another provider which is not only better mannered but provides coffee which so far I have much preferred.

Great coffee and service – I'm new to 'home barista-ing' (is that a word?) and needed all the help I could get with great beans. My first lot from these guys was the best I've ever tasted. Not sure if it's my skill as a barista or the beans but I decided not to mess with 'excellent' and have ordered my second 2kg of coffee. Thanks guys!
Very happy with product and service – Have been using these local guys for about a year, and have been very happy with the quality and offering. The boss is very helpful on the phone and always happy to talk and give recommendations. They have plenty to choose from including pods, and good decaf too. I only wish they could do local pickup but alas the council are of course, pr*cks. Keep up the great work :-)
Sensational coffee with equally sensational environmental cred – I’ve been purchasing MyCuppa coffee beans for the past 12 months, every 2 months, in 2kg lots. Been sensational every time. Love their monthly special blends. Great prices too. For their environmental credibility, read their Nov 21 newsletter. Impressive. Innovative.
This is the best coffee roaster that you can get the fresh roasted coffee from! – I was skeptical before ordered from this roaster ‘cuz I was disappointed with many roasters that I’ve been ordering from, Never received real fresh roasted coffee beans from any roasters! My cuppa is not only much cheaper, quick delivery but also the freshest roasted coffee beans I ever ordered in Australia, give my every espresso shot thick creama!!! Praise it!
Can't fault it! Best Coffee and service! – We've been using MyCuppa for around 7 Years getting fortnightly deliveries of 2kg to SA. Sometimes it comes the next day if we order early before 3 and it's always prompt otherwise. The Coffee is exceptional quality and we've tried a lot of their different roasts. We've never had a thing to complain about. The packaging is great and has the roasting date which is important! We couldn't be happier.
Great until you send a complaint – I have Received great coffee from MyCuppa and had no hesitation in recommendIng them to friends However, my last order tasted and smelt dreadful. I used their complaints section over 6 weeks ago. No response. I let them know again via their complaints site- still no response. My log in no longer works. numerous tines. To date no reset link (yes I have checked spam) Well, MyCuppa have now lost a regular customer.
Never had a problem with the coffee or the service – I've been buying coffee from Mycuppa for about 2 years now. The service I have received has been excellent and the coffee is great. Always fresh and always quick. I am perplexed by some of the reviews here, as I have asked questions quite a few times and always had a polite and fast response. Maybe if you are rude you cop it back? The seller is… Read more
not responsible for the delivery, and although I've never had a problem with delivery clearly others have. I have tried many of their coffees and lately I'm doing the monthly specials, all have been excellent.
Great Coffee Awful Rude Abusive Service – I have had great coffee in a number of contact-less scenarios. I am having issues with their delivery contractor not actually attempting delivery despite updates to the tracking to the effect of Delivery attempted and card left - no card - no one shown or knocked or yelled or anything home all day as i am working from home. encountered when calling MYCUPPA was appalling so much to say i did not have words to respond to them. I was told i roast coffee i don't deliver parcels. I am really not sure what to do now as i do not seem to be able to get effective assistance in this scenario.
Great Coffee – Have been purchasing coffee for years from this business infrequently. The service is great, my goods are delivered on time and the coffee tastes great. If I've ever had a coffee related question, I have received a response quickly and in an easy to understand language yet very informative. The price is very affordable. Highly recommended this business.

Consistent quality and great selection – I have been using mycuppa for almost 12 months now, typically I will place an order monthly (Either a single origin or the "Secret Label" of the month) and will have the beans in my hands 1 - 2 days after placing the order. Beans are always packaged well (In a sturdy bag, then tightly packed in a box) and freshly roasted, they have a great selection of single origin coffees which are all priced well so plenty of choice. definitely worth a try.
Poor customer service. Very rude – Ordered coffee before Christmas. Delivery service failed on 2 occasions to deliver product. Contacted my cuppa. [name removed] replied he had over 6500000 emails to respond to and do was too busy to deal with my issue. I do not recommend this company. Pity.
Fresh Beans! Great consistency everytime – I have been using mycuppa for just over 6 months. I switched over from StAli Melbourne Roaster and I was paying $45 for 1 KG, at a local coffee house. I now get 1KG x 2 bags (2KG) delivered to my PO box for under $60. I generally order 2 different bags every 6 weeks. So far I have not been disappointed. They are very fresh beans, the smell and… Read more
taste is second to none! I recommend Suuweet! Generally I receive my coffee the next business day as I am within Melbourne Metro. Hats off to the Guy named Jeff! I have recommended MYcuppa to my friends. I hope the price says the same. The Postage cost is very fair as well.
Disappointing – This is my second disappointing purchase from MyCuppa. The first was 2 months ago when I bought compatible pods for my Nespresso machine. They tasted like there were loose coffee grounds in my cup - there weren't. I tried them twice before giving up. The supermarket pods are better in my opinion! And now my second purchase. I bought Revolver… Read more
coffee beans and I was very excited when they arrived. They were 4 days old after roasting which is good. But they tasted very similar to Woolworths Macro Organic Coffee Beans, from what I can remember. And they tasted a bit winey. This is the third blend that's tasted a bit winey and I'm tired of my coffee tasting like that.
I'd bought the Woolies beans several weeks ago and enjoyed them. They cost $6 per 200g and they were fresh beans. I bought an espresso machine a couple of months ago to upgrade from my pod machine.
If I'd known the Revolver beans were going to taste so similar to the Woolies beans I wouldn't have bought them. I'm trying new coffees to find out which ones I like the best and so far, half the ones I've bought have turned out to be duds, despite being freshly roasted, sometimes "award winning" and costing between $30-60 per kg when you factor in postage from online stores.
These Revolver beans are okay, but as I mentioned above, they have a slight winey taste. Not my favourite beans so far in my journey.
So now I've got 1kg of coffee beans that's going to take me at least 5 weeks to use up as I only have 1-2 coffees per day. That's why I'm disappointed.
And the bag inside the box had a slit in it and I didn't do it when I opened the box.
Great coffee and service – I have been dealing with My Cuppa for some time and, after trying many different suppliers before and during this time, I can’t fault their coffee or service. I have tried several different single origin coffees but find two from Ethiopia really suit our tastebuds. They are Yirgachaffe and Harrar.
Insipid and overpriced – I thought I would try something different fo Nespresso . I don't like their black suit , jewellery store atmosphere . After all we are buying coffee not gold or a diamond ring .But unfortunately this was a extremely poor tasteless alternative . with shipping it worked out more expensive than Nespresso and you only have one choice and a poor one… Read more
at that !
Only consulation was I purchased the smallest quantity .
I did unfortunately buy two of their teas and they are just as bad ..
Fabulous – Wonderful coffee, at last something that both my husband and I enjoy. None of the bitterness that I have come to expect with pod coffee. Really recommend it unless you'ré used to cheap bitter coffee. Proof of Purchase INVOICE #: MC79941 Cant get the proof of purchase below to work on my computer.
Good coffee terrible customer service – Old mate who responded to my email is rude and arrogant. Made a comment about the delivery service wondering if they had any control over this and got the rudest response ever. Can not believe how condescending he was!
Brilliant – Been a My Cuppa customer for a while now and find the coffee and the service excellent . Reasonably priced compared to other online roasters . Highly recommend .
Can't recommend their ESE pods – Bought 200 of MyCuppa's own ESE pods. We found that they had very little aroma and taste compared to all the different brands we have used in the past. Sent the company an e-mail with feedback but no reply. It wasn't till I contacted them the third time that I received a not very polite reply basically saying that I was entitled to my opinion. Will not be buying from them again.
Reliable, delicious beans, every time – I have been a My Cuppa customer for many years and was surprised to see so many poor reviews. For me their product has been unbeatable in consistent quality and value for more than 6yrs. Their beans are always fresh, produced by a passionate and skilled team and their shipping is prompt and cheap even now being in a rural location. I have had… Read more
minimal contact with their customer service team as it has been a seamless experience for me but do not let the promise of poor customer service deter you from one of the best sources of fresh roasted beans in Australia! Give them a go and decide for yourself :)
Fantastic coffee range at great prices – I have used MyCuppa for a few years now and will continue to. They have a fantastic range of Coffee at prices I've not been able to find lower. referencing the order and asking for the grind. I received a reply that was quite abrupt and to the point; "OK, but note that coffee looses most of its essential flavours/etc 20 mins after a grind anyway." (not an exact quote). The thing is, could have taken offence but he was 100% right - I tried it.
So, yes, Customer Service is perhaps not high on their priorities. But the quality, range and price of their coffee is second to none and we will continue to use them and drink fantastic coffee.
First time buyer – Took over a month to receive my coffee order in W.A. Can’t help but think the delivery delay effected the quality of the coffee.
