After watching the slow agonising demise of Nando’s in Australia today was the inevitable day it died for me ! Ordered a quarter chicken and chips corn and a drink from NNados Chatswood. Received a mouse sized drumstick (attached to a matchbox size) and a small serving of chips and corn. That would not feed an 8 year old kid. And all for the pleasure I paid $25 dollars!
Ordered 8 bbq ribs for takeaway from this Nando at Bundoora square, recently. Made a mistake of not checking what they made, the trust factor just went to a toss when I opened the box and found badly charred ribs. Crew needs training on bbq, lesson on customer trust. Lastly, and I know this is a ubiquitous problem with outdoor settings, but the seagulls don’t need to be squawking and defecating for 2-3 minutes before the chips from a previous customer are taken away. Witnessed incoming customers attempting to shift dirty dishes to sit themselves there. Definitely 1 star out of 5 but really 0.25 stars. Cheers.
Never again, just got my son to buy a me a chicken meal, with the smallest drink and chips I've eve seen, stop ripping people off.
I usually like going to Nando's at Browns Plains but that was the worst experience this afternoon. Awful unfriendly, unhelpful staff, uninterested in me as a paying customer, the food was way overpriced for such small servings and we found a long blonde hair in the parmesan salad - and we're brunettes. Yuck. We definitely won't be back. Oportos are way way better.
This is the fourth time I have ordered a burger with pineapple. You get charged for the pineapple but do not receive pineapple. I will not be ordering anymore. You are either dishonest or incompetent. I know which one you are but will let the readers decide?

It is mostly disappointing during the last few hours of closing as they always run out of the chicken! Tried with diff branches and atleast an hour earlier then the closing time but still they would not have chicken!!
Follow-up · Chicken is the main - everything has chicken in their menus so if no chicken nothing that you can have! I tried Westall and Burwood - mostly the same issue. Staff are straightforward. They would never offer you compensation, instead their behaviour would tell you to go elsewhere!

The Nandos restaurants in Melbourne are just pure mouth-watering and the best treat you could ever give yourself. Although, the Canberra Nandos (only 1 in the city) is pretty bland, it's not the best, but not the worst.

Ordered a halloumi and salad pita, received a chicken pita from Doncaster store. Tried calling customer service but apparently 2.30pm Tuesday, then 11.30am Wednesday was outside customer service hours! Had to ask for glasses for the table water, while watching another table drinking directly from the bottles due to no glasses being available. 2 people at our table didn’t get their meals and when they asked for a refund was told by the manager’ that he didn’t know how to give a refund- he had to call someone to ask. So glad to finally have a Nando’s back at Castle Towers; it’s always been a favourite of mine. Stopped by today and it didn’t disappoint. The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavour, and the team was warm and welcoming. Definitely coming back.
I ordered online and received a text message saying my order was ready for pickup after 10 minutes. However, when I went to collect it, they told me it was given to someone else by mistake. After that, I had to wait another 45 minutes, and my order was still not ready. In total, I waited for more than an hour. I asked for a refund, and they said the money would be refunded within a week. I’m really disappointed very bad service.

have to pay for an entire order with points. The issue I still have with Nando’s is that you cannot choose to order a chicken thigh. You can only order a quarter chicken, and they will decide whether you get a breast or thigh. Of 7 times I ordered a quarter chicken, I never once got a thigh piece. Just bad luck, or favourites? In their favour, is the fact that I love the taste of their chicken, and their fries are also very good!

Sent another inquiry and no reply back. Sent an enquiry a different way but was unable to add photos so they replied wanting photo evidence . swapped and gave hot chips; cokes were flat, the vege patties were cold. I have complained to manager he told me they are fine. This left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I believe this experience fell short of the standards Nando’s is known for, and I would appreciate it if this matter could be looked into. look like nothing wrong at all. Firstly received a call from the store about 10 mins after placing the order that they had no rolls and weren't sure when they were arriving. They offered me an alternative which I agreed to. The food left the store at 11.32am. After a round Perth journey of 45 minutes in an Uber (their delivery partner) it turned up at 12.17. $30 of soggy, stone cold garbage that I didn’t dare touch straight in the bin again. I did notice they gave me avocado in the pita which I didn't order and don't like. Never again... closed my account and deleted their app. They used to be such a great business and now just in it for the profits.
Don’t waste your money on this overpriced over rated product. You make a mistake ordering online and they refuse to refund you. What happened to customer service mistakes happen.
I went to Nando's Elsternwick today for lunch. I had the Mediterranean salad plus chicken and it was healthy and delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful I go to many different places for lunch, and I find Nando's Elsternwick a place I have to keep going back to regularly.
