Terrible courier service – I ordered a cloud 9 mattress and low line bed base online. The low line bed base was expensive compared to other options but it is well designed. I love the mattress. bedding options. My only complaint is that the courier they booked to deliver the bed to Canberra was unprofessional. I was told they would give me 24 hours notice of delivery but they gave me 4 hours notice. When I could not accept delivery at that short notice, the courier company said it would be 2 weeks before they could deliver. They ended up sending the bed and mattress with a driver who was incapable of moving it into the house due to ill health and that meant I had to do the lifting as a 62 year old female customer. i wonder now if the courier company was even insured. I told Natural Bedding Company about these issues but received a reply justifying the courier company. If you buy a bed and want deliver outside of Sydney do not trust this company to arrange the delivery service.

The BEST mattresses – We love the Natural Bedding Company mattresses. We are a family of 5 and all use the Dreamer mattresses. We sleep so well and our daughter's sleep apnea has gone. Pillow – This is my second pillow, same as last time only I got the wool as well. It's a bit bigger overall so too tight for the normal pillow cases but is much cooler. I don't care about the cases issue , this pillow is better. So I'm happy. Thanks again Show reply

The Dreamer – I bought the dreamer bed because I didn't want to lie on a pile of stuff that was hydrocarbon based and inhale that all night. odour at all much. Lying on it is weird at first. It has no coils or springs in it. It is medium sort of soft. You sink in to wool and latex. It feels supportive but also yielding. The stillness is striking. It is very peaceful. A sprung mattress sort of reacts to your movement. This does not. It isn't dead. The latex and other stuff do a great job. But it is not reactive.

I've noticed more going back to sleep in the Dreamer. And also I just feel better in the morning when I awake. It definitely is less communicative of partner movement.

Anyway it is quite simply a nice thing and as another reviewer said, about the only reason a person wouldn't want it might be because it is slightly more expensive than another one.

So if you are a due a new mattress do yourself a favour and get a Dreamer.

Rock Hard Mattress – I wanted a latex mattress for health reasons, and bought one from this company. It was very expensive, $3000.00. They have firm and medium which is what I ordered. for my bed from them thinking maybe that was why it was so uncomfortable. That cost an additional $500, but made no difference to the comfort. Finally bought a topper from Aldi which made it possible for me to sleep on it, though it is still not nearly as comfortable as I should be able to expect for the cost, and negated the health benefit of having a latex mattress. Next time Aldi have them I will get a second topper. I need a new mattress now for my spare room and am tossing up between a sleeping duck and The Latex Bedding company Crows Nest. Both have good reviews. I have tried them out and they are much softer than the one I got, way more comfortable. Latex Bedding's are also zoned to accommodate hips and shoulders which Natural Bedding Company's are not. So I will swap which ever I get with this one, and my visitors will have to sleep on it. On the plus side the people who run the company are very nice. I did not try to do anything about it. I needed a refund to buy a different mattress and that is not their policy, so I figured I was stuck with it. It is a very well made product, that is why I gave it 2 stars, but in my case not fit for the purpose of sleeping on.

Like one of those ultra-firm mattresses in a cheap motel - built to last, not for comfort – Stay away if you don't like ultra-firm mattresses or inflexible customer service!!! and they are simply not interested in addressing the problem - especially when there are so many choices in the marketplace and their prices are NOT insubstantial - it's One Star all the way.

Soooo.... here's how the relationship went sour. Went to the store and tried out ALL of the mattresses with my partner. Went back to the store again and tried our favourites again. Went back a third time and made our decision to buy the Cloud 9. The assistant at the shop was lovely and we had a laugh with her and parted with the $2300. Waited with bated breath for three weeks or so and took delivery.

We persevered for about six weeks. Six weeks of waking up with sore hips and necks. I have always liked a fairly firm mattress but this was very unforgiving indeed. Still, not willing to give up so quickly, we bought a sheepskin topper to try and make it acceptably pliant. I mean, we shouldn't have to mould ourselves to the surface should we? Shouldn't it be the mattress that moulds itself to us, just a little bit? (Is this the right time to say that I am an extremely average 76 kgs and my partner 55 kgs? Slap bang in the Average Human range).

It is no exaggeration to say that we have had very few comfortable nights of sleep since then (about a year and a half!) and the comfortable nights were when we were staying out of town!

After more than a year (and the purchase of a 10cm latex topper which was incrementally better but still didn't sufficiently alleviate the unforgiving nature of the mattress) we trudged back to the store to see what they could do to help us with our $2300 worth of unsatisfactory purchase. Alas, their commitment to customer satisfaction did not match their commitment to salesmanship. Too hard you say? Why, it's the softest we make! How about buying this $900 latex topper! We'll give you 10% discount since you're return customers. (I swear that's what he said, with a straight face!).

To put it into perspective, we rent in a lovely suburb, enjoy the odd cappuccino here and there and can stretch to the occasional (modest) holiday, so it's not like it's the end of the world and there are plenty of people in our society for whom any kind of mattress at all would be a luxury. But $2300 is still a lot of money to us. We just have to accept that we made a mistake buying a mattress from these guys and an even bigger mistake thinking that they might actually care enough about our experience to help us out. Lesson learnt! We'll replace this mattress with one of the many offerings on the market that offer a trial period and put this behind us. Caveat Emptor!

A beautiful night's sleep – Went to their showroom and tested the mattresses, staff were very helpful. Bought a Cloud 7 but realised when I got it home and slept in it it was a little too firm. Owners were wonderful and I ended up getting a latex/wool topper and it is the most wonderful mattress. Totally natural, really comfortable and I no longer wake through the night which I did with our previous mattress. It really feels luxurious getting into bed now.

Comfiest bed I've ever fallen asleep on – I purchased one of their cloud 9 beds for my 6 year old, as its all natural and hence healthier. The only problem is its so comfy I keep falling asleep in it when I put her to bed. The service was great and people very nice, I highly recommend.
