Gday,just installed mivue stealth pro,no worries with connection to app and all that,can’t get camera to show live so I can position on windscreen,comes up in red at top of screen”camera not facing view or screen,but it has recorded a couple of things and stored them,so it’s working ,just can’t see it live,thanks

It seems my Nav Man does not recognise my voice. Can I load my destinations using the keyboard? If so how do I access it?

It does not have a Navigational feature and there is no option to enter destination through voice nor by entering it via keyboard. Can anyone tell me why my I can’t view video from my dashcam? I had the format card issue, over come that, it says recording and GPS but I can’t see any video using the Navman manager app on my PC. I’m also having trouble connecting to my Samsung A11. It shows a connection but no video to set the angle up.

Nothing has worked, I took it to a friends place who has an identical cam and he couldn’t get it to work. I’ve contacted your support team to organise a replacement or repair.

Have fitted the Navman Mivue Stealth dashcam a few weeks ago, and 3 or 4 times recently when starting out the message instead of recording starting has been that the SIM card needs formatting, what seems to be causing this to have be done. The dash cam is hard wired in with the hard wire kit.

If this is the first time the device has requested to format the current SD card inserted, please don’t worry and format the SD card. We recommend formatting the SD card prior using it in your dash camera or GPS devices to ensure the file system is compatible.

Here are the factors why we need to format the SD card: • Ensure the SD card memory is in the correct format • Enhance overall performance and lifespan. • Repair corrupted SD card. • Restore SD card to full capacity.

Remember: Formatting the SD card will delete all files on the card, please ensure you have saved any files you wish to keep prior to formatting the SD card Please note it is recommended to keep your SD card in good health and to prolong its life, format the SD card once a month.

If your device is asking to format the SD card regularly, this is a sign that the SD card is becoming faulty and will fail soon or is already completely faulty. Please replace the current SD card with a brand-new endurance card with class 10 or U1 speed. You may refer to the link below to check our recommended memory cards: external link

I've recently purchased this and I've just today set it up in the car. Now it won't turn on. It was working and now I can't get it to turn on. Ive tried a reset

If you turn on your car and the dashcam doesn’t turn on try unplugging it from the cigarette lighter for about 1-2 minutes then plug it in again because i had the same issue. Someday’s it turns on fine with the car and somedays i have to unplug it for 2 minutes and then try again and it works.

Hi Jody, Thanks for posting your query. Sorry for the troubles. Charge the device by the Navman in-car power adaptor or the Navman AC adaptor for at least 20 mins. Then, perform a hard reset by poking the shutdown button beside the memory card slot.

Please also ensure you are using a Micro SD card designed for use in Dash Cameras such as SanDisk Endurance series, and Kingston Endurance series. Faulty or incompatible Micro SD cards can cause your device to not function correctly, may arise problems with the recorded files, freeze, and even cause the device to intermittently turn off or even not power on. Every few days or so when i start the car and obviously the dashcam is plugged into the cigarette lighter i notice that it doesn't turn on. I figured out that if you unplug it from the cigarette lighter for about 3-5 minutes and plug it in again it works. I’ve just lived with it and haven’t had the chance to get it looked at. It’s funny when i took it back to strathfield car radios they tested it out overnight and it was working... but this issue doesn’t always happen straight away... it must be a build up of charge or resistance in the capacitor that prevents it from turning on.

That’s an interesting issue. I haven’t had that problem. Mine is that the Preview mode on both of the two dash cams I bought don’t work properly. It should show the footage but instead it works for a couple of seconds and stops. Then a minute or so late the Preview will start again and stop. We recently updated our phones thinking the app wasn’t compatible but that’s not the problem. For the money we paid it is a massive fail. I have not recommended the MiVue to several mates who’ve asked for advice.

Yes. No success. I actually spoke to someone at Navman and he conceded their “appeared to be a hardware problem”. But, after a troubleshooting session on both dash cams, it was unsuccessful. Preview is so important when another driver wants to argue the toss and you can’t show them.

Hi. I’ve just purchased 4 of these dash cam MiVue stealth’s. We’ve installed 1 to try out but took 2 days of trying to work out how to connect to my Samsung s20+ phone but eventually connected. The question I have is does this MiVue stealth work while parked & plugged in via the 12v socket? I’m hoping it does as this was one of the selling points for me but I seem to think this will not work unless it is hard wired which we don’t want..

It works when ignition on. If you want it to work while you’re away from the car, it has to be hardwired. I think this is stipulated in instructions and also from information you can view online by asking the question.

If you wish to utilize the park mode feature, you will need to install a power box such as the MiVue Smart Box hardwired to your car’s battery. How do I turn the microphone off?

Also with the Stealth, the preview worked okay and, as we were setting it up in the car, it did an upgrade. Now previews don’t work.

Hi John, Thanks for posting your query. To turn off the microphone, please press briefly the white button on the dash cam to mute or unmute the microphone during recording. The mute indicator will not glow in amber if the microphone is off.

Cheers. Sorted the microphone but the inability to playback on the iPhone is frustrating. It just gives a screen grab. I notice from other reviews that this is a common issue. I’m inclined to return the 2 Stealth Pros I bought from Costco.
