I have a MiVue 760Ultra. Is it possible to add a Safety Camera? The icon for adding a safety camera does not appear on the screen which would indicate that this camera is not a "...selected model". Is there a software /firmware update/upgrade that could make adding a Safety Camera possible on this model? Tony P

Can my ULTRA capture our in car conversation as we drive?
Yes it can,but just simply go into settings and toggle the microphone symbol to off if you wish your conversations to not be recorded.

Hi Stephen, Thank you for reaching out to us. The Mivue 760 Ultra has built-in microphone but there is no input for additional microphone. The device can record cabin noise including conversations in the car. Please make sure that the sound recording is enabled on the device. This can be checked by going to Menu>Sound Recording.

how do i get the picture to stay on and not just see speed reading?
Hi Des, Thank you for reaching out to us. Regarding your concern, you may change the device’s LCD Standby settings. To do this, please go to Menu<System>LCD Standby and set it to Always On to keep the LCD on.

I just found out that my 760ULTRA had not been recording the video for quite some time. It has been switching as normal, but there were no files on the SD card for the last three months. All the setting seem ok. Shows the date time and speed, and video on the screen, but none of it is recorded!!
Hi Tony, yes I've had that problem before,and it came down to me finding the right sd card with the right write speed,using cards that can't handle the amount of HD data coming in seems to corrupt the file,I use a Samsung 128gig evo+ SD card or any SanDisk extreme card,they cost a bit more but since I've used these cards I've never had any problems and mine has been written over or formatted so many times.again this is my experience and it works for me.hope this helps.

My navman seems to not operate when connected to a usb, turn on but will not bring up program and goes flat when unpluged ,
Just through my experience I have found if you don't use the dedicated charger that came with it it won't work, must be something to do with having the correct voltage output,as for going flat navman ultra 760 and other navman dascams have a battery in them that is not for running purposes I suspect it holds enough power just to save files when you turn the car off you can purchase a hardwire kit to keep it active after you have turned the ignition off.

The Navman mivue760 seems to have a unique mini usb connector. No other mini usb cables fit the connection. Is this done on purpose or are they not your typical mini usb plug?

Ok. But the mini usb plug on the smart box will not plug in to any other usb device. It will only plug in to the miview dash cam I was hoping to use a mini usb splitter so that I didn’t have to run two separate power supplies to my two devices. But no joy.

We would appreciate if you are able to send an email to our email support team or send us a Private Message confirming the version of the Smart box that you have. Please confirm if you are using Smartbox V1 or V2.
Also, may we know if you have a TPMS kit installed on your MiVue 760 Ultra?
Please be informed that we can only use the Smartbox to power up one device and not designed to be connected to a cable splitter to power up 2 or more devices.

Have just purchased 760 ultra and beginning to install,trying to pair via WiFi with my iPhone x unit connects to phone but WiFi icon just spinning and says connecting in mivue app but not connecting?thank you Al.

I want to mount a rear camera to my Navman MiVue 760 Ultra 2160P Dash Cam with GPS Tagging. Is that possible, if so, how do i go about doing it and what should i buy. It is not hardwired, only powered through cigarette lighter hole.

I have moutend my MiVue 760 Ultra with the windscreen bracket provided, my camera seems to be taking a lot bigger video than required (car bonnet and lots of sky. Have I missed something in set up????

I can't seem to connect to my phone Wi-Fi.
You turn it on the dashcam in the menus Its only useful when downloading videos on your phone or not much use while driving.

Why doe's my MiVue760 ultra record with such a blue light, makes it impossible to get a clear recording. It's well below the tint at the top of the windscreen.
If your getting a blue/green light you need to get a high endurance memory card. Your average memory card can't handle more than 1080p

Please also make sure that the blue cover plastic is no longer on the lens of your device as it will cause blue tint in the recordings.
