I will not go to Nepean motors for my next car and also advise my friends and colleagues to look for better places to buy their cars from.
I knew exactly which car(with model/options/color) I wanted before making my first call to Nepean. I got it BUT every other thing that happened was a disaster. I understand that it is not a buyer market but I definitely could have got a good negotiation from other Volkswagen dealers.
I got a call back once(maybe) for every 10 times I called. I wanted few things to be updated in the contract and needed few ...other clarifications about options/extras/loan/insurance. But I spoke with just the reception every time. I lost all the excitement about my new car and I sent an email to let them know about the same and requested for a call back if and when they get 'time'. I finally got the call to be ready to take the car home. I requested for quick delivery because of my pregnant wife and toddler and the fact that we are almost 40km away from the showroom. I tried to call them one day before the delivery to make sure everything is set for the next day. Guess what, I did not get a callback. To add to the series of mismanagement, no one cared about the payment for the car until the very last minute. I was provided with two options just before taking the keys: 1) Run to the bank to get the cheque by making my wife and daughter wait for few more hours or 2) Make the online payment and go home without the car and come back again for the delivery.
I collected my new Skoda Koroq today 15/4/21. Great car and amazing customer service from Grant and Payton. Thank you and you now have another customer when the time comes to replace my vehicle.
Wonderful & personalised service
Ben was very friendly, helpful & professional in every way in assisting us to purchase our new Suzuki Baleno. He kept us updated with info on delays, & even allowed us to take a Demo Baleno to trial & keep till mine was delivered to the showroom. It was a pleasure to deal with him & Suzuki in general. He has even contacted me a few days, after picking up my new car - to check all is well & that Im satisfied with our purchase. I would recommend Nepean Motor Group very highly.
Poor Service and no care attitude
We are a company with multiple cars and are a very loyal company when we are treated well and taken care of , currently have two cars in the fleet serviced by NMG. We have had constant issues for about a 12 month period ongoing with the vehicles, one in particular with electrical issues, this started first by a low tyre pressure sensor playing up and after taken into the delearship for service this was apparently rectified, days later the light came back on and stayed on till the next service, during this period the cars navigation randomly swi...tches off as well as the entertainment system when it feels like it, took the car in again for service as had another light on the dash referring to a daytime light error,and car stalling out randomly after the service was completed was told that I could go to spare parts and order the correct part to book back in for repairs, I found this poor as came to them with the issue and then asked me to get ordered from their departments. It would make sense to order and pay with them and to be booked back in. Three days later the battery in the car failed leaving me stranded and having to call roadside assistance costing just under $500 after already paying over $1600 for the service, unacceptable really considering the amount paid and on prior occasions also, then weeks later an engine light comes up on the dash whilst two hours away from Sydney, great here we go again, called NMG and was unable to fit me in until the following Monday, managed to get the car home and took across to them on the Monday, when arrived thought the car would be pushed through to get a check over and advise and hopefully be on my way again to continue with daily work requirements, instead told they are fully booked and will need the car the full day, I was not informed of this and it would of been helpful to be told this prior to the drop off , when asked if there was a possibility of a loan car was told don't like your chances and there is a bus that can drop you somewhere within 5kms radius by the person booking me in,had a poor attitude and was pretty unhelpful luckily was passed onto to someone who actually had some consideration to help and was able to organise me a loan car with no trouble for the day. Overall just poor service, no assistance when you need help despite being loyal and paying for every service with them, and not only that paying a premium with them, purchasing a car from them and relying on some support. Some employees actually seam to care and help whereas others are of the No F##KS given attitude, coming from a company which cares about our customers if we gave customers this type of service I can understand why they would go elsewhere, so your aware its your customers that pay your wages, no customers equals no work and no job pretty simple, so when you provide them with service you should care about their needs and try and help them as the way your going you won't have many coming back, we wont be looking to buy another vehicle here, someone else will be getting the business based on the ongoing issues and support and even if they are more expensive we will go to where someone cares and wants to do what they can to help.
Never trust, First and last bad experience, Manager is not cooperative, price too high
First, call on 4/2 to book car service first time with Nepean group, Operator asked which service#... I can't be advised because a car was with wife however been advised approx. 90km... The operator can't conf price and she told will check on the booked day visit. Today visited and spoke to reception and adv to check logbook available in the car. She confirmed will do, she described what will service but not said the price would and I signed documents given I didn't read because she has explained and I trusted... I got a call after two hrs. wai...ted for and the person advised that required brake fluid change and rear wiper...I wondered about wiper as just got changed not even month for pink slip requirement with rear brake bulb. So, I denied to change wiper and was happy with brake fluid change... I waited for another more than 2hrs. and got message car ready to pick up... Surprise... NMG invoiced $700plus for service... I wondered why and if that expensive why has not been notified before... they did charge for rear brake bulb and after an argument. they took off and reduce to $488.11 because of the situation explained to the reception, however, I was not happy with this price too so escalated with Manager and response from the manager that I have signed documents so I should no price for service, even their receptionist she told them she did not advise and other staff advised me she is new in the job so must have forgotten to confirm price and service manager not helpful at all she only advised what price suppose to be then if not they charging correctly. Seriously, how would I know I am not a technician and never paid that much for cap price service. She was keep pointed out that I have signed their documents. So, I advised all of you think twice before you go service with them and check twice or more about price and what they do service your car.

I would recommend NMG.
I had booked my car to check some minor issues and confirmed booking via email at 10 am. I went there by 10 am and was waiting for the car after fixing the issues. After 1 PM a service guy told me that they are too busy and don't have time to look at it today.
Great service from Rachel O'Connor & Team Mitsubishi
Was really undecided as to what to purchase - Nissan, Toyota, Ford or Mitsubishi. Rachel was very patient and assisted me with any questions. Once a decision was made the sale process was smooth and I was kept fully informed with all updates throughout the pre-delivery and delivery processes.

Dreadful Service - Wouldn't let them change the service sticker now
3 times in for the same problem. Broken down twice within 2 days of getting the vehicle back. Costly in wasted time. Never again. BEWARE taking your car here for any repairs.....
Terrible Service Department
I contacted Nepean re a Service and explained that I would have a 6 month old with me. On the phone they were great booking me in at 12.20 and stating I would be out at 1.40pm.
I approached reception at 1.40pm only to be told they were still working on my car. They finished my car and I paid at 2.20pm. 40 minutes after I was told. It was a pain, If they cannot adhere to a time they should not be giving one!
Unprofessional, careless and passing the buck!
Purchased a $50,000 SUV. Paint peeling within a year? It was covered under warranty.
January 2019 - 'photos and details of damage sent to Jeep' for approval.
Didn't hear anything back for three months, assumed it would take a while and was patient.
Contacted them and found out no one actually send the photos or details off.
I was asked to present back in for more photos and descriptions.
Fast FORWARD 6 months - after countless phone calls chasing my own tail with multiple staff members -

Waited 2.5 hours to book a car in for service
I called several times and could not speak to the service department or get a call back. It should not be this difficult to book a car in for a log book service. After giving up at the 3 hour mark I called elsewhere and booked it in. End of work day and I still have not heard back from them. If it is this hard to book a service what happens when they get your car?..
Service department- What a joke!
Horrible customer service, lack of communication, long delays. I found the sales team to be helpfully, but i would not recommend taking your car for a service or repairs there.
Great sales service
I have purchased a number of cars from Nepean Motor Group and have never had a problem. The staff are friendly, knowledgable and get straight to the point when negotiating price. I just purchased a new car and this would have to be the best experience i have had with them to date. If you are in the market for a new car, Deb and her team will sort you out. If you are after a VW i would highly recommend seeing Daniel in the VW department who will look after you.
