Nestle Allens Minties Questions & Answers
VerifiedHow come the former factories were able to produce consistently hard, delicious Minties that everyone loved, and now, most of the time they come as a slimy mush? You blame the weather, storage, transportation, but Minties have always had to deal with those factors. What is the real reason for your company destroying this once beloved recipe?
Hey Daryl, we've been making ALLEN'S MINTIES now for over 100 years. And yes, the texture of Minties can be impacted by various factors. These include our raw ingredients, variations in processing and storage. But the good news is we do have controls in place to ensure a consistent texture.

What has happened to minties? We have been unable to find any in our local supermarkets or shops for the past couple of months! We never had problems purchasing before even though we live in a rural area. Our only option seems to be purchasing online but postage is excessive.
Can't help you there. No supply problem in the inner city, but the ones currently on the shelves are not the old Minties, they're much softer. Not my cup of tea.
I was wondering if Minutes will ever come out chocolate coated,or chocolate inside, love the White Knight choc bar,and I think Minties would sell well chocolate coated. Cheers James
