New Formula not good

My baby is 6 months old. Started him on nan comfort after 6 weeks old because nan supreme would upset him and give him dark green poo. Switched to nan comfort 1 and it was great. Sleep much better, no constipation. However have transitioned him onto nan comfort 2 with new formulation and it has been a disaster over the past couple weeks. He has been more upset and frequently vomits up the milk multiple times a day. Have just changed formula to aptimal and these issues have disappeared. Won’t buy comfort again. Show details

Formula Fail

My daughter has been on Nan comfort since she was 1 month old, so for the past 12 mths. Since the changes in formula recipe she has become extremely clingy, will have explosive diarrhoea after each bottle, resulting in horrendous nappy rash. The way the change over was handled was very poorly done, no warning about it. My daughter cries and groans in her sleep after having a bottle , which is resulting in a lack of sleep for us all.

I’ll be changing formula’s.  Show details

So upset and frustrated, my poor 10month old has been so Unsettled

So upset and frustrated, my poor 10month old has been so Unsettled, The new recipe is terrible and reading all these other reviews is just heartbreaking. So many sick babies. My daughter has been on Nan comfort since birth and was really settled with your previous formula however since the change and transition, she has been so constipated, going 3-4 days without passing a stool, vomiting and total dislike for the bottle. Why fix something that was not broken? Paying more for this new formula now to make my baby sick is so upsetting.  Show details

Horrendous since the recipe change!!

The original NAN Comfort was great! Since changing the recipe, our 8 month old is completely unsettled and has been having the most disgusting explosive diarrhoea several times a day! She also lost so much interest in her feeds that we were lucky if she’d take half a bottle of the stuff. We have now switched to S-26 Original, which has thankfully calmed her tummy.
If you use this formula, ditch it.. and if you’re considering it for your baby, don’t! There is something seriously wrong with the ‘updated recipe’ and the product should be recalled! It’s absolutely horrendous. We will NEVER buy, nor recommend this product ever again!

New formula fail

My poor baby has had explosive diarrhoea numerous times after feeding a bottle of the new recipe.
He is quite irritable from having to changing highly watery smelly poos.
His skin is starting to break where these poor are touching throughout his nappy area.
It was hard enough to get the formula in stores and then all we can get is the new recipe.

Never had an issue before this new recipe.
There was no option to gradually introduce as his signs and symptoms were noticed straight away.

I hope you are prepared to refund my money. Show details

Trash. New recipe is trash

My son is 10months old and has been on Nan con fort since 3 months old with no issues THEN they changed the recipe. And my son has been vomiting sporadically for the last 4 to 5 days. He’s has water poo for the last 3. One night he could not stop chucking and we went through 4 sets is sheets. I would recommend anyone using this formula to STOP and anyone thinking of buying to NOT. I will never use this formula again. Why change something that’s not broken. My poor son has been through hell for the last week all because you want to save a buck.  Show details

Research and development?...i dont think so..most likely cost saving drove this formula change

Used this for my son and just recently he started to not sleep well, was grumpy all the time and unsettled. I thought I'd google this formula to see and to my surprise i saw all the negative reviews on here due to formula change. What a shame. I have just gone to get a new brand of formula. No more nan. Show details

New recipe total fail

Very disappointed with the new recipe. My 9 month old baby was on NAN since 2 week old and it was perfectly tolerated. As soon as he tried the new recipe, he became very sick with runny poo every 15-30 minutes for several hours and he developed a severe rash. We introduced it gradually as recommended but he was getting sick every time he had some, so we had to change brand and his tummy is recovering. And every baby I know, who was on this formula, had the same issues with the new recipe. One question: why did you change such a successful product to make it so bad? Anyway, NO MORE Nestle products for us and our family. Show details

Terrible new formula, will never recommend

The old formula was great. The new and improved version has caused my daughter to break out in a rash all down her legs and arms. We have changed to karicare and the rash has cleared up within a day. Nestle dropping this change without warning has had a negative effect on many babies and they should be ashamed of the way they dropped this new formula.

Will never buy a nestle product again Show details

Please what is the difference between Nan 2 option and Nan 2 comfort?

Coco · NAN Comfort 2

Did nan2 get a recipe change? Has anyone who #1 didn’t agree with their bubs changed to #2 and it’s been ok?

Yes it changed. We won't be staying with Nestle into stage 2, so can't answer whether it's any good - recent review suggest it's no good.

I totally agree with Mikey7. The new formula of nan 2 is not good at all. My baby is having bad diarrhoea and thus a severe case of nappy rash due to frequent motions....very disappointed that they cold Turkey chanced the formulation....
