I’ve had the chance to observe how the team at NextGen Strata handles day-to-day concerns, and they’re always consistent and responsive. They manage the coordination between different parties well and remain professional even when dealing with pressure or difficult situations. From what I’ve seen, they stay committed to getting the job done.

including failing to provide vital records and video recordings of meetings. His conduct during EGMs has been unacceptable—muting residents, manipulating voting processes, and refusing to share essential information under the pretext of privacy concerns. Despite multiple requests, NextGen has been unresponsive to genuine concerns about strata fee increases and questionable financial management.

Their failure to comply with basic legal obligations and dismissive attitude towards owners is both frustrating and unprofessional. I would strongly advise against using NextGen Strata for any property management. It’s been a nightmare dealing with them.

Useless Strata – We’ve been chasing them up for 3 months regarding water leaking from the unit above into our unit, They are ignoring the problem to get it rectified and do not return calls or emails. They should return their Fees back to the owners as they take them under false pretences. We are taking them to tribunal and I will be recommending at next meeting they are removed.

Ash Karan – Very responsive and pragmatic with his assistance. Keeps calm under pressure and facilitates various issues respectfully and with a genuine care factor. I am happy to recommend Ash in his capacity as our Strata Manager.

Awesome Service by strata Manager Ash – I had NBN connection appointment and wanted to check MDF/Electrical room is readily available for the field technician to access and install NBN connection. Ash has been super helpful and ensured I had no issues for the technician appointment. Thank you Ash.

They have actually not even paid building insurance for the property, which I have never heard of, and now saying they have no money to pay the insurance company. couple of responses saying, well too bad they don't have the money to pay insurance. How can this be? They have put all the owners at personal and financial risk. They are extremely unprofessional and for the last few years any questions I had took them months to respond to. For instance, I needed tiles fixed in the general area which were broken and as a result some kids got hurt playing in that area because they took over a year to get back to me and my property agent. I had to get those tiles fixed myself. Get away from them and do not engage with them. They are extremely unprofessional and I would say, even doing stuff that is edging on unlawful.

Inefficient incompetent irresponsible – Have been waiting to fix a leakage issue since Mar 2022 and they have not done anything effective so far (It is now 2.5 years) . They don't know what is management and just steal owner's money!

incompetent – totally useless as strata managers. dont return calls,have been asking for the results of the forensic audit they said was taking place dec21!! since they took over our building they are learning how to deal with a large complex on the run. we have no idea how much we have in our accounts only what they tell us on thier letterhead a bit shady i think

Unprofessional – NextGen Strata should be deregistered as managing agents. Everything a strata management company is expected to do - they do nothing. Return Calls, Pay contractors in a timely manner (6 months delay to the contracted cleaners) resolve outstanding issues etc. The list goes on. We will be sacking this company ASAP.

damage compounding over time because of consistent heavy rain. He has not fulfilled what he said he was going to do. Nor have we received support from their support team, [Name Removed] et al. it is very frustrating being ignored by the company that have been given the business of being the strata manager of our property. i hope the owner/s of this company reads this review and rightly direct their staff to provide the service that is due to us that help sustain their business.

contractors without knowing whether a job had been completed and not pay others for months. Communications were a joke. Simple requests would be ignored for months. We eventually fired them and they refused to hand over the accounts and files to the new company for three months. They behave like petulant children. Use these people at your own risk. We found a contractor to fix our leaking roof and Mr. Li tried to find many excuses and play several tricks to stop him to carry out the job, until we sent Nextgen to Fair Trading. Because of him, our roof leaking problem was getting worst. After the job was done, they tried to delay the payment. We did pay off the last quarter levy of 2020, and he said we didn't pay and sent the wrong levy notice to ask us to pay. Even owners sent the payment proof to them, Nextgen still sent the wrong one to us to pay. He rarely replied our emails and never answered our call. We left messages and he never got back to us. Guys, read the bad reviews here, they're so true. If you want to deal with Nextgen, you have to know the strata schemes management act well or you'd better consult with Fair Trading when you has any issue. Good luck!

rains the damage is getting worse with the area of the cracked tiles expanding. I'm still chasing up. Ash Karan is the Strata manager. he's nowhere to be found. does not answer calls and emails. Lucia took over. She also has been difficult to contact as doesn't answer emails and calls. I've read the other reviews and totally agree to the consistently bad reviews. We are the customers that provide them the business but they seem not interested in us. i'm so looking forward to the next AGM.

We have had issues for 6 months now, that haven’t been attended to and of course Dong li and his team are no where to be contacted, When you finally get someone they give you a time it’ll be attended and the go missing again while the issue is still outstanding.

Poor strata, never believed their promises – We had them managed our property. They did not deliver their promises and services like they said. Our property is very dirty, they did not follow up with the cleaner. We told them for 1.5 years and they did not care at all. They told me to write as many as complaints email and they did not cared. Do Not go with Nextgen strata. They all lied to you !!!

Shocking and confused – NextGen gets almost everything wrong. the manager is missing in action. They are truly hopeless. Slow, beyond slow in fact and unreliable. We are exceptionally dissatisfied. I am going to inform the Office of Fair Trading about them formally. No one else should be fooled by this appalling company.

Pathetic Service – Lift got broke down in my apartment around 4 weeks ago. They didn't showed any interest in resolving that. Dropped them mail and there we no response. Called them and got the same response that they are trying to resolve the issue.

Don't Bother – If you live in a big new complex where nothing goes wrong and only need strata to pay the bills, then these guys are for you. Otherwise don't bother. 0 stars would be awarded if I could. Going to another company has been the best thing we have ever done since NextGen took over.

Nextgen Generous by comparison – If you want individualised attention, Nextgen Strata are a boutique-quality, strata management company who can handle any major or minor strata issue. Their systems are state-of-the-art and their proactive teamwork ensures all compliance checks are thoroughly taken care of. Our building has benefitted in every aspect through Nextgen's strata management.

Excellent services By Ash – We are very happy to have Ash as our strata manager . Ash is always very friendly and helpful. He is prompt in responding to our queries and requests. Ash responses to the issues we raise within few hours and suggest solutions and get the job done in a professional way as soon as possible to our satisfaction. Ash is a pleasant character to deal any issues regarding strata management. Would recommend Ash from next gen strata.

meantime the poor landlord/tenant is taken for a ride. Thankfully, that was not the case when I had a similar experience. The Strata Manager was very prompt and he kept the trades and insurers on a timeline. He managed approvals to spend monies from the Strata Committee and always kept me informed. difference is the financial position for our block is managed well so the strata company can do their job to fix all the issuer we have.

emails or phone calls. They are not working for the best interest of the Owners Corporation for sure. My bad review in Google is deleted and filtered. They only kep the good review.

No acknowledgement or response to the emails stating our building's problems – Our building has a Faulty lift, faulty smoke alarm and stuck parking gate. And, despite of multiple reminders, these issues are not being addressed at all by NextGen Strata Management.
