screamed so loud I could not bare to turn it on as it is noise pollution plus plus! Because I wasnt careful with paperwork couldnt find warranty so it has sat under my bed for two years, had about four hours work out of it, I am now searching for a new Vacuum and have no idea which to buy, am considering a miele, as there are many good reviews. The lemon under my bed will go in the trash because I live in a remote area and have no idea whats wrong with it, and no-one to fix it.

great cheap vac – Purchased this vacuum from bunnings, fairly cheap for a vacuum and has great suction and power. The bags do sometimes tend to overflow, so much regularly check them to ensure they are not overspilling their contents inside the vacuum. But for a cheap bunnings vacuum I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this vacuum. The bags are fairly cheap as well.  Show details

Still going well after 5 years – Happy with the performance of this vaccuum cleaner. Bought it on sale at Myer. Had only every had cheapies from target etc before and have found it was worth spending a little more as it still works well after 5 years. I Love this Zippy Zoom Vacuum! – I used to have the coupe when I lived in England, I bought the Action plus because they didn't have the coupe in stock when I bought it. Nice and small for easy storage in my small hall cupboard. Very flexiable head and easy to maneuver under beds and around corners.

I say that because my aunt has, and my mother had vacuums of different brands that are useless at maneuvering.

Definately recommended. My mother, I might add, bought a Nilfisk coupe due to her maneuver issues, with her old big vacuum; and it had terrible suction. HOWEVER as I pointed out to her mine never had such an issue, she took it back to the store & they replaced the hose on it, and no more problem. Must have been a dodgy hose on it. She had had it sometime by then, but the guy recognized her and did a little test on it and the store (Harvey Norman Toowoomba) replaced with hose without cost.

Mine was bought in 2012 and never had a cord or a start issue.

Amazing – This is such an amazing vacuum cleaner! Does an outstanding job compared to other vacuums that I've had in the past. Not too light to carry though but easy to maneuver. handy ability to plug the hose into the exhaust means I have a ready made pump for an airbed. i couldn't be happier with this vacuum, perfect for apartments in the sub $100 price.

Nilfisk action plus vacuum cleaner – I am happy with the working element of this vacuum cleaner. However the noise level is more than I can bear! I read through all the other reviews and no one has this problem it seems. But the longer I have this machine the louder the noise, my husband says it sounds like a small plane engine. Nilfisk Action Plus – Found this beauty at Godfreys for $99! After two failed attempts with a bag-less vac, I decided to go back to bagged. Was very tempted by the Miele, but decided to chance Nilfisk and very happy I did. I have had this for over a year now & am extremely happy with my purchase. It cleans very well, is sturdy, isn't too loud and doesn't require a change of bag that often. Will never go bag-less again. Does the job without drama Nothing

Been wonderful to me – I have had this vacuum for nearly 4 years. It has treated me well. It works well for its price. I hardly change to bag. I prefer bag cleaners so I don't have to clean the filter after every use. Overall, very happy considering how long I have had it for.

A little beauty – I bought my Action Plus when my children were small. They've all grown up and left home and its still going brilliantly. It's easy to handle, compact to store and gets the job done on all floor types I've had over the years - carpet, tiles, wood. Would get another one but don't know when that might be necessary. average-good vacuum slowly over time turned into a waste of money. Started as a decent vacuum cleaner Loses Suction, the separately purchased "power head" is useless.

Dont bother – I brought a new one of these and got it home, when I turned it on it made an awful noise and the more I used it the more it smelt like burning rubber. I took it straight back to the store only to be told it would need to be sent away for repairs which may take 3 weeks???? After lots of arguing the store finally gave me a replacement but reduced by reciept by $50 meaning if I had to return the second machine I would have a credit of $50 less...(This is a well known department store) The machine has been ordinary, very noisy and only just vacums.. I guess you get what you pay for.

hair, which is a pretty common problem with many vacuums. I have also found a couple of little issues over time. 1. the pins in the power plug easily bend out of shape and need to be bent back in order to plug it in. Luckily I havent had any ill effects from this happening so far but it could potentially be dangerous. 2. after doing the rounds vacuuming a few times the hose unscrews itself from its end plug that goes into the vacuums body and its very hard to put back together. Improve those issues and add a "power head" and I think this would be one of the best vacuums. Excellent Machine for a Great Price – I recently bought a Dyson for a $1000 which I really didnt like. I wanted a new machine that would do a great job but not that expensive. the machine lifting the carpet and actually sucking the dirt up from the carpet. The machine comes with 2 vacuum heads. One for the carpet and tiles (main head) the other just for tiles. I find the main head it spat out the dirt from the top covering the head with the dirt. Wasnt a lot but enough! I took it back to Myer - where we purchased it from and they exchanged it over for us but it happened again. Im assuming that the machine is suppose to do this, so I got another vacuum head and no problems. I would definitely recommend this machine. I dont see the need now to spend a lot of money on a vacuum cleaner when this one works beautifully. Excellent suction. All the vacuum tools are on the machine and stores tidy, as everything including the pipe clicks onto the machine making it store neatly away :) Dirt leaks from the main head :(

Surprising! – I was pleasantly surprised to get such a good vacuum cleaner for so little money! Generally the cheap cleaner's don't work as well as the more expensive ones but this one shocked me! It has perfect suction, the two heads it comes with are perfect for every nook and cranny of the house. Very happy :) Inexpensive, very quiet, good suction

Why Go So Expensive? – I love this vac. Sucks beautifully and each head is really useful. I have tiles throughout except bedrooms so i use the flat head for everyday use - instead of sweeping - and the power head on my new carpet, which still looks brand new 12 months later. Best vac I have owned and the cheapest. Power head nozzle and blow function. Has a bag which studies show are actually cleaner. I find it to be vert light and easy. Long cord. None for me.

Good – I had a Nilfisk GM400 that last for 10 years never skipped a beat. It propably could have been fixed but thought it would be a costly repair. experience but Nilfisk has been good to me. When I need to update my vacuum cleaner I will buy Nilfisk again and look for a bagless option. It is compact and sucks up the dirt,dust and hair extrememly well. You can adjust suction strength. It is priced reasonably and is value for money.

Works well on my tiled floors and on my carpet rugs. None really except maybe having a bag. Though they appear to be a strong material and not a paper bag. Seem to last the distance. I have had my Nilfisk Action Plus since July 2009.

Very nice! – Very good value, works very well Has exceeded my expectations although i suspect that as with and new product which replaces an old or broken one, the difference is always going to be relatively significant. No problemo after 1 year I like that is has a bag, I prefer not having to create a dust storm every time I need to empty it.  Show 3 replies

Good, does the job well – this vacuum is a good sturdy vac that does what it promises for a good price. only real con is how heavy it is to lug around and how much the bags cost! love the interchangeable heads for hard floors and carpets. its very convenient to be able to change the suction level and change to a blow function as well. easy to use, bags are paper, blow function heavy, bag price

Excellent – ctober 2010- Had it for 1 week now, bought it from The Good Guys. So far so good :) It sucks dust/dirt really well. Can also adjust the suction strength. and a brush inside spins once turned on. I bought this 1 as my old Nilfisk died after using it for over 9 years!!!!! Also bought it from The Good Guys 9 years ago. It looked after me for so long, it just needed a new hose after 6 years, only cost $20 to replace. Not many vacumms last that long, your lucky if they last 1 year. Good – Went out to purchase a cheap vacuum cleaner as 1800W Hoover blew up (only 2 years old - $100 for new engine and $45 service fee). Purchased the Nilfisk for $155 from the Good Guys so can't go wrong. The Hoover was bagless and the Nilfisk isn't, but it has twice the power of the Hoover and is quieter. good buy, and it had no trouble picking up the hair from my Ridgeback. Easy to use and heaps of power to get the dog hair out of carpet. None found yet, although still unsure just how much the bag can hold. Although 5 new bags + filter is $17 which is a bit pricey.

We looked at many differant brands but found that to our not so supprising horror,we would have to spend a lot more $$$$$ than wat we did on the nilfisk.

I have used nilfisk many times before so i knew that it would make sense to buy one,and at only $169 what else do i need say.

our other cleaner was a bag-less which ment having to clean it out every time we used it,and the experts say that bagged vacume cleaners will dominate once again in the not to distant future as bag-less vacs do not last near as long as there bagged cousins. only had for 1 day,,,no problems,,,,,,,,(yet),,,,,,,,,,,will update at later date.

Good – Overall a good and sturdy vacuum cleaner that we hope would outlast its pricey competition. Our other vacuum is a Dyson motorhead (for indoors) but we use this one in the garage and the cars.
