Hi all,

I have an old blender, that sits on top of the motor. Its 600w. Its also glass and very heavy. It has the blade down the bottom. Very hard and heavy to clean.

So, I'm looking for something new. Lighter, & powerful (would be great). I'm thinking the new products on the market, like this one, would be just as powerful as the old 600w. Would I be correct in this thinking??

I'm mainly using it for doing protein drinks, with frozen berries and fresh strawberries. I would like the new item to be able to blend fresh vege/fruit for more protein drinks.

Anything else would just be a bonus.

Thanks all.

I would not recommend a Ninja Master, my daughter and I bought one each and the nut that holds the rotator on has cracked the plastic container at the bottom, this could be dangerous if the whole thing cracked right through. Other than that I could not be if any help with any other products. Best wishes in finding the right appliance

Yes the QB1004 would do more than what you ask for. Also it is very easy to clean as the blades come out and the motor is separate. and lies at the top. I feel this is a good design.

hi all. i have communicated with 'nutrilife' here in oz, and they have advised me that the nutribullet would be the best product for me. this comes in 600w or 900w motor. altho, they say the 900w is too powerful, to do nuts (it will minimise them to dust). now that is pretty powerful right.....

My small bowl has developed cracks in the bottom and now I can't use it to blend liquids because it leaks. Can I get a replacement small bowl and how much are they? Thanks.

I can't be certain but i:'d guess no and that does worry me as I only use the small one have never used the larger ones

Does it do nut butter? I make a lot of vegan -ish and gluten free recipes , need something that can handle this but I'm on a budget

I'm sorry I have no idea how to make nut butter and have never attempted to do so in this blender. It is strong enough to break up ice and frozen fruit for smoothies, if that gives you any indication?

I haven't ever used the smaller blender attachment, the bigger one does the best job. The medium sized one you occasionally get food stuck at the top above the blades, but the largest one has a better distribution of blades which stops this from happening.

Ok thanks, have you had many food processorS? I've been using my blender and it's a very good blender but horrible to clean and slow and doesn't process food- so I don't want another blender basically cos I feel like the shape doesn't help it. So I'm not sure if the ninjas shape is much better than a regular blender....

I'm happy to tell you that it will make nut butters. I'm addicted to macadamia butter! However, I suggest you use the smaller container.
