Bad service have
Have a Nissan Qashqai has done65.000 is like new,recently have no air conditioner working ,blowing hot air inspected by local mechanic &found hair line leak in condenser mechanic advised me to take back to Nissan .no way this should happen after only4&1/2 years let alone any time .absolutey no assistance from them what happened to customer service

I attended Northern Jeep for a diagnostic of my brakes on the 20th of August after purchasing my 2018 Jeep Compass Ltd from Ballarat. They were friendly and had great availability that suited my times and roster. The staff were welcoming, easy to coordinate with, and organized. My service diagnostic took approximately an hour but I was incredibly pleased to find that they had done a warranty software update for free as well. When I found out my brakes needed to be deglazed, they were more than happy to find a date that suited me but also coordi...nated with the dealership to conduct the service there without me having to organize a thing. Jason was incredibly professional and easygoing. I greatly appreciate what they've done for me and would definitely come back again!
Do not buy a car from this dealership
I was given wrong information by this dealership in regards to the service, after market radio (which was recommended and sold by them and turned out to be non-compatible with Jeep features) and so on, on the day of purchase, after wasting my time speaking to different levels of people (numerous times) in this dealership, none of concerns and frustrations have been appropriately addressed or attended to...
Do not buy your car from them!
Purchased a Grand Cherokee summit from Northern Motor Group. Every since day 1 all we have had is issue after issue with this car. Booked the car in 2 weeks in advance as that was the earliest time they had a hire car available to arrive and my wife to be asked to come back tomorrow as no car was available. Service manager Jason also said because the car had been serviced at Jeep Essendon fields that they are independent and not responsible.
The car had over heated under the bonnet and burnt and melted wiring and tubing but apparently it was going to cost $150 per hour to diagnose what the issue was and they were unable to estimate how long it may take to find issue.
Would expect much more for a $90k car.
Big Heartbreak Disappointment
where do I start....6th of July 2019
Well I purchased a Grand Cherokee SRT 2017 brand spanker and have nothing but major issues.
This article is about the service department and not the dealership.
I picked my car up 2 years ago and Anthony made us aware of the fault on the dashboard, drove it for 2hrs and then parked it into the garage for 6 weeks.
From there the issues had started and are still going to date. KMS as of todays date are 37,000
All issues i will put it in point form below:
transmission cooler pipe had burst.
changed shockers 3 times on 1 side and 2 times on the other side
carbon fibre trim on dashboard replaced twice
dashboard replaced being faulty due to manufacturer...
RIP OFF'S & SCAMS - BEWARE!! DON' GO HERE.
Brought a new car from these idiots and been nothing but problems and issues with the car, which they have not resolved which now result in legal action in court.
Intestate car purchase (Great service with Terry)
Looking for a Jeep in my state was very limited, checked out a few cars at northern group online and there were a few that caught my eye. Received a follow up call from Terry, who asked a few related questions about what I was looking for. A Jeep limited was my interest but I was very nervous about buying a car I had not seen my self. Terry sent through numerous photos, described the car, and said it’s a nice car. Terry spoke through the vehicles history, state of the exterior and interior, engine report and tyres etc etc. I ordered the car wit...h Terry arranging interstate transfer and taking before transport photos to cover off on any transport trouble. The car landed in great nik, great car. Perfect colour and paint, nice drive, stereo is awesome, great features on the car, drive smooth as pie. Lucky to have a nice car car purchasing experience. Thanks Terry, greatly appreciated.

Terrible Service Dept
Took our vehicle for 20,000 klms service today . Reception 'takes' you to service 'sales' guy who has every 'add-on 'extra pre typed on sheet ..Then quotes in lots of $30.00 each time these 'add-on ' extras.NEVER mentioned plus GST!!..We told them we qualified for the 10% 'service discount' as sent via email ..Our discount was not the full 10% but 'selective' items only????..This was not detailed in fine print anywhere!!?
They also fail to advise the prices they quote do not include GST..

Lying, misleading and extremely disappointing
We live interstate and due to lack of suitable vehicles locally, from seeing the vast range of used Nissan Qashqai's online at Northern Nissan Bundoora, Vic., we regretably chose to purchase what we were told was an ex "Nissan Australia" Qashqai with just over 15,000km on the clock. (I should point out that most similar Qashqai's here in SA are ex-rentals which I had told the Northern Nissan salesman we were not interested in). We purchased flights for the family and booked several nights accomodation in Melbourne as we planned to drive the ne...w car back. 2 days before we were due to pick it up we get a text message from the sales guy we'd been dealing with saying it had nearly 4,000km extra on it! Their explanation was the advertised odometer reading in the online ads is an "estimate only"?! They could not explain the 4,000km difference nor could they say why the lower mileage was recorded on the "legally binding" signed contract they emailed me. After a few phone calls and much frustration, we renegotiated the purchase price. We collected the vehicle as planned, but soon discovered the lane-departure warning was defective. I brought this to the attention of the sales guy but he suggested it would likely rectify itself on the drive back home. Not surprisingly it didn't, so we've already had to book it in for repairs. BUT HERE'S THE WORST PART... I have queried why the service book didn't have any recorded service other than the 20,000km service done a few days before we picked it up. Northern Nissan told me "it wasn't a problem". I looked into things further and have since discovered the previous owner of the vehicle was Ezy Drive Car Hire!! (probably explains the extra 4,000kms). Further enquiries then showed this car hire business has the same registered address as Northern Nissan! I've phoned the sales guy we dealt with and asked him for an explanation. He tells me he no longer works there and was very sheepish when I asked some questions about it seemingly being a hire car, despite me telling him we did not want an ex hire car.
Find a different place to buy your Jeep
I purchased my Jeep Grand Cherokee from this dealer a little over 4 years ago, I'm happy with the car, sure there's been a few issues here and there but nothing crazy. I have however never had one good experience with their service department, every single time I have had it served something has been missed/ignored etc. However stupidly I keep going back, I booked it in for it's 150km service 7 weeks in advance because I absolutely needed a loan car, I was assured that it was confirmed etc, on arriving (and after waiting almost 40 minutes to ge...t served) I was told there's no loan car on my paperwork, I told the guy I had called to confirm etc. He asked me to sit back in the waiting area then 10 minutes later came in and told me they were just washing it and it would be about 10 minutes........ 15 minutes later he then tells me they have alot of overdue loan cars out at the moment on long terms loans as they have had a few issues... (gee good to know Jeep is having issues) I asked him what happened to the car he said they were washing...... he simply had no idea how to answer that I'm thinking he had forgotten about his previous lie.... I started to get grumpy as I spend a significant amount of my work life in my car and had been very clear when booking and again when confirming that I would be able to use a loan car as I need a car well he told me I could have one mid morning but then couldn't confirm at what time mid morning was by now it was 9:30 (I arrived at 7:45) I then realized that the sales guy's sent me a reminder that my warranty would soon be up and I should come check out the new range and take one for a drive to the local shopping center for breakfast, I asked him to call those sales guy's and see what they could do to appease a customer who had already spent $80k with them, apparently they weren't interested. I then grabbed my key from the moron in the service department and drove down to the dealership, explaining to the sales guy what had happened and asked to see the GM, he proceeded to go tell his colleague all about it before climbing the stairs to the boss, so guess what guys.... at 9:30 in the morning when you have no other customers or background noise you can literally hear EVERYTHING being said upstairs while standing in the downstairs area and to my 'surprise' he didn't want to come and speak to me so on hearing this from downstairs, I walked out and to be clear I will NEVER reccomend buying or servicing any type of car from this dealer it's simply not worth it. I will be finding a new Jeep dealer to take my car and money to because these guys are a pathetic joke from the top down!

Biggest regret ever! They say anything to you to sell you a car and then a few months down the track there is no one to turn to when your car has serious issues! Worst Service Centre! Haven't had our car for over a month and there's no resolution! Stay away!!!!
The worst company of any I have ever dealt with we bought our grand Cherokee 5 yrs ago and have nothing but drama and disrespect in every department of this company from after sales service to actual servicing to all the recalls we have had to do moving forward let’s say I wouldn’t purchase a coke from their vending machine

Brought our second car here (wish we had not) so upset with how i was treated. Traded in our car and have been Completely ripped off. They do not care about people at all. After i tried questioning them, was abused verbally over the phone and spoken to like a child. I am in service myself and would never speak to someone like this. Disgusting.
Crazy if you still want service from Bundoora service centre
I am unsure why but this is the only dealership in Australia where they focus on providing bad service. We purchased a Fiat & were promised by the dealership he would repair a small dent. It takes me travel to the dealership 7 times + driving the car to the paint shop to get a photo and 1500 km later to get sorted. The worst part is every time you arrive they had no record of your appointment. Very disappointing.
