Just bout my first ever Kia Sportage .seen it on line called up spoke with Gerard who was very good to deal with amazing actually always called kept me in the loop on wer the car was at .today I received my car of the truck that Gerard organise to get my car to wodonga .iv just got back from picking it up .I'm one very very happy customer an I never seen this car or test drove it .Gerard service was amazing sending me videos of the car .I had a very good experience with northern motor group.very happy with my new car thank u again Gerard .

I was very interested in a second hand car they had in stock, called not once, not twice but 5 times and still no one could tell me if it was still in stock. Drove out from eastern suburbs of Melbourne which was 24KM but over an hour due to traffic, pulled up and asked if they had the car thankfully they did but it felt like they were downgrading you for buying a second hand car, this car was going to be used as the run around no fuss sort of car, they were the pushiest sales people I’ve come across, one of the used cars salesman has no respect...for anyone or anything. He started looking at my car touching it and slamming the doors thinking we were going to trade it in, which we had no intention of doing and didn’t even ask. I came by myself without the rest of the family but he still insisted I put a deposit on the car as it would sell instantly. I did that and was told there was a cooling of period of 3 days. After all the paperwork was done I was finally able to leave! The next day we wrong up saying that we no longer wanted the car mainly down to the lack of respect shown by northern motor group. They didn’t want to hear about it and hung up the phone. Eventually, after a few more days we got our money back. AVOID LIKE THR PLAGUE!!
cleaned paint work
Fob chain on keyless entry was playing up after change battery for my Jeep Renegade. Problem was husband had not put it in correctly. Just wanted to say thank you for the amazing job your crew did on cleaning the car, after was realized there was no problem and no charge. Jeep looked almost new after arriving dusty and looking rather ordinary. Also take Jeep for regular tune ups and services always come away feeling happy and safe.
Waste of time
Had a pre-determined meeting time with Damien to see an advertised car. Left work early, drove quite a distance only to arrive and be told that the car sold this morning. A courtesy call to let me know not to come as the car had been sold would’ve been appreciated.

Don’t trade in a car here!
Went in today to obtain a trade in price for our Jeep Compass (North Edition) 2014, MY15. Salesman looked at vehicle and offered $5000. When I looked shocked he said why how much do you want for it? Was already offered $10000 at another Jeep dealership who we have bought a new car from. Wanted to compare the trade in price. Car has full roadworthy and just came out of 5 year warranty. I would rather drive past every brand of motor vehicle than to buy a new car through this group. $5000 is a ridiculous price to be offered for the car. Sellmyc...ar.com.au already offered me $8900 without seeing the car based on full roadworthy, no damage, no repairs outstanding, full service history, mid range klms, tyres in good condition and factory extras. Very disappointing experience and a complete waste of my time.
Absolutely disgraceful communication and customer service
After having to wait a month for them to get the part in, Breeanne Carter was on reception we were getting a part fitted for our air con, I made the appointment for 9 and we were there on time and the girl at reception said you can collect it at 4 and I said no when I booked it in the girl said it only takes an hour on the hoist, I booked in a month ago and she said they had 3 jobs big ones before mine, I said I am booked in at 9am.. then she came back to say I can have it by lunch time, I rang them at 12.45, she was at lunch and I was told it ...was ready, we had to get a cab from the shopping centre because the shuttle service is now only taking people at 9 and 10 and picking up at 4, ridiculous, so we got home at 1.10pm and they messaged me at 2.45 to please collect my car by 5, disgraceful! We had already picked up the car and was home ,what a disgraceful unprofessional business I will not be returning my car there this happened yesterday 11/11/19
Bad service have
Have a Nissan Qashqai has done65.000 is like new,recently have no air conditioner working ,blowing hot air inspected by local mechanic &found hair line leak in condenser mechanic advised me to take back to Nissan .no way this should happen after only4&1/2 years let alone any time .absolutey no assistance from them what happened to customer service

I attended Northern Jeep for a diagnostic of my brakes on the 20th of August after purchasing my 2018 Jeep Compass Ltd from Ballarat. They were friendly and had great availability that suited my times and roster. The staff were welcoming, easy to coordinate with, and organized. My service diagnostic took approximately an hour but I was incredibly pleased to find that they had done a warranty software update for free as well. When I found out my brakes needed to be deglazed, they were more than happy to find a date that suited me but also coordi...nated with the dealership to conduct the service there without me having to organize a thing. Jason was incredibly professional and easygoing. I greatly appreciate what they've done for me and would definitely come back again!
Do not buy a car from this dealership
I was given wrong information by this dealership in regards to the service, after market radio (which was recommended and sold by them and turned out to be non-compatible with Jeep features) and so on, on the day of purchase, after wasting my time speaking to different levels of people (numerous times) in this dealership, none of concerns and frustrations have been appropriately addressed or attended to...
Do not buy your car from them!
Purchased a Grand Cherokee summit from Northern Motor Group. Every since day 1 all we have had is issue after issue with this car. Booked the car in 2 weeks in advance as that was the earliest time they had a hire car available to arrive and my wife to be asked to come back tomorrow as no car was available. Service manager Jason also said because the car had been serviced at Jeep Essendon fields that they are independent and not responsible.
The car had over heated under the bonnet and burnt and melted wiring and tubing but apparently it was going to cost $150 per hour to diagnose what the issue was and they were unable to estimate how long it may take to find issue.
Would expect much more for a $90k car.
