I would not recommend this company. Gentleman was abusive rude and demanding. Had to ask him to leave and he kept arguing with me.

seal at the same time as the old one was sagging away from the oven frame. Carl rang me today, two weeks after the initial visit, came out immediately and replaced the faulty components. Great service and Carl made a complex job look easy! Carl is knowledgeable, efficient and clearly knows what he is doing. before leaving using a temperature gage. Payment by eftpos was easy to make plus electronic receipt emailed instantly. I asked Phil to show me how he removed the oven door so he took time to help me understand the ease of removal which will help when cleaning. The new element has a one year warranty. Needed oven fixed quickly, to get back to baking – Quick response, competitive flat rate call out fee. Oven stopped working Saturday, Karl was able to replace the Westinghouse element Monday at about 2pm. He gave a time frame to turn up of in between 4 hrs, he rang 20 minutes before arriving. The parts Element cost was extra of course. He took credit card. Friendly, reliable & courteous.

Quick response. Sorted the problem – Got a quick response and issue was sorted within minutes. Not cheap with the call out fee but an honest diagnosis for a $25 fuse and so happy to pay. Only odd thing was at the end of the service he stuck a sticker on the inside of my nice clean fridge without asking. We didn’t really appreciate the uninvited visual pollution and when we peeled it off it has left a mark. Just ask the customer next time!

Too expensive – They were available straight away, not surprising given the money they charge. certainly about $40 dearer than anything I saw online and $55 labour for 15min on top of the call out fee is ludicrous. My advice, look elsewhere…

Find someone else! – I went with Norwest Appliance Service through my real estate agent. The cost to change a PCB kit on the dishwasher was $489 and a quote was provided which included supply and installation. THEN when I received the bill, a hidden call out fee of $110 was then added to the bill! I could have bought a new dishwasher at that cost! The lack of transparency is unacceptable.

Find someone else! – Is $220 reasonable for 15 min work? Not in my books. $110 was the call-out fee and he could fix minor things and if he had to come back it would be $55 per 15 min from there. BUT not true, Norwest Appliance Service charge $110 for the privilege of driving 15 min from Castle hill to Annangrove and then another $55 to put 3 globes in and tighten a hinge. Buyer beware, ask all the questions first and get them in writing. To charge me 15min outside of my $110 call out fee was just incredibly rude. I should have used Total Appliance Repair Centre, they charge "a fixed rate service charge of $125 which includes the service & unlimited labour time."

Solid advice – Glen gave me good advice about the problem with my washing machine. I appreciated the time he gave, rather than charging me a service call to tell me bad news

Fast Service & Repair – Had problem with stove. Karl knew what it was and how to fix it, and had it repaired and running again on the same day we contacted him. Great service.

Efficient, punctual and professional – Very punctual, accommodated my request for an early appointment due to my work commitments and knows his job thoroughly. Karl was efficient, completing the repairs of our oven and washing machine within the hour.  Show reply

Terrible – Don't bother even phoning. Turns up, taps the machine, powers it up and has a guess as to what is causing the problem. Takes the $70 call out fee (good money for 5 mins) and you never hear back. Use someone else.

Terrible - complete waste of my time and money (zero stars) – Honestly I would love to leave a good review but unfortunately I've experienced terrible service and it was a complete waste of time and money trying to get Norwest to repair my dishwasher. supplier - that's idiotic (next time quote the PNC to the supplier) - and wastes my time. Calls a week later and says correct part will be much more expensive (pick a number out of the hat) - not very transparent. You will be left wondering how much more they slug on top of the cost of the part.

Typical repair company model of charging expensive call out fee, only to tell you things you know already - (part needs replacing) and worse of all - lack of commitment to fixing the problem. Just keep charging client to replace parts until it's too expensive and they give up.

The guy won't even say if new part will likely get my dishwasher going and then offers to sell me a new dishwasher??? No thanks, I decide to cut my losses and got another reliable company to get my DW going for much less money and hassle!

I'm sure Norwest will come up with their excuses etc. but I suggest you stay away from Norwest Appliance Repair.

Great service – I would highly recommend these guys. If you read my previous email - this is the company that sorted out my washer issues within hours. Repairer was knowledgeable and prompt. I can't give them enough praise.  Show reply

A con job! – Claimed that oven had been repaired but found out later that it did not work. Refused to com back unless more money is to be paid. A con job. Avoid at any cost.
