Do NOT use Nova Tyres they guys are total cowboys. An obviously inexperienced man damaged the lug nut and bolt. They would have let me drive off with a lug nut missing. Replaced 4 tyres today and they damaged all 4 wheels and wouldn’t take any responsibility. Absolutely incompetent have no idea in fitting tyres. This seems to be a common theme as per other reviews. Stay clear don’t risk having your rims damaged. Matter escalated to department of fair trading. Show details
Had a flat tyre on Sunday, spotted Nova in Newcomb on the Queenscliff highway was open. I met Ali what a fantastic man great service and a pleasure to deal with. Please thank him on my behalf he was brilliant.

Had 5 tyres replaced , they scuffed the paint on every one of them, forgot or left the weights hanging, have scratched and DENTED 2 of them, tried to over charge the tyres $10+ each and then took out the valves on each of them, purposely scuffed them and then charged me $25 extra for replacing all the valves of which I didn't ask for. am currently repainting the rims but advise all to avoid their business. Nova tyres are advertising tyres they do not have. They advertise prices they have no intention of honoring. I drove to there store to get the tyrs fitted and the prices went up. Don't waste you time with these crooks like I did.
Jim did an excellent job on my motorcycle. He is reliable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. The repairs were completed thoroughly and at a fair price. I would not hesitate to return to him for future work and highly recommend him to anyone in need of quality motorcycle repairs.
Nova tyres online unclear if it is a SCAM or not! Purchased tyres online and never heard anything back, I tried to call and email with no luck ended up having to charge back through the bank (well I hope the charge back goes through) don't be fooled by the cheap prices online, I would highly recommend avoiding them. Nova tyres Alphington customer service is disgraceful in upping prices after quoting and then damaging rims when installing tyres and incompetent in balance tyres/rims. Highly recommend to stay away

Never Nova. TYRE DAMAGE WHODUNNIT. Bought A/T tyres, asked for city tyres back to use later on extra rims. Written on invoice & yellow chalk on tyres to return. though. Heard metal like a crowbar dropping on concrete at times so guessed it was trying to remove part of machinery/etc, coz nobody smashes/changes tyres with a sharp metal tool and hammer, right? Was odd to hear. Anyway, new tyres fitted, old ones back. 2 days later was packing old tyres away & noticed severe damage making them unusable. See photos. Amazingly the 2 worst damaged tyres were the ones in best condition. I have manual tyre changer & done a few on my own (sometimes they assume customers are ignorant) & I've tried to tear/puncture old tyres & IT AIN'T EASY. You need MASSIVE force with pointy metal objects. Can you see a picture here with sounds I was hearing? Tyres were good 2-4yo & being used on car prior to taking them in. Nobody else had access to them. Road wear doesn’t do what you see in pictures, nor does removal from rims. And why would I want damaged tyres returned when disposal included? Showed another retailer the tyres & they agreed with theory on what caused it. Emailed Nova Dandenong & Springvale head office Fri eve with details & images asking for explanation. No response. Follow up email Tue morning. Got short reply Tue arvo asking for inv # which I already gave! Time wasting. I replied within 10mins. Sat eve still no response. To me that’s damning. Surely they’d be concerned & get back ASAP right? Nope. Saw same guy at both stores so assume he is owner/manager, hence IMO why both emails not answered. Leo? Estimate loss of 2-3 used tyres $150-200 plus disposal. Decided long ago to never give key/remote/access to car w/o supervision - thank God I did (took 2 trips x 2 wheels) otherwise I’d be freaking out wondering if key/remote copied or anything missing/damaged on/in car. Don’t trust them at all. They lost a repeat customer, 3 of 4 old tyres were from Springvale store, used Nova for years. Got tyres for family members too plus sent them there. Family/friends informed to never go there again. All that for ~$200 of damaged used tyres. Insane. You work out whodunnit. I didn’t, their silence says they didn’t either. Big mystery.

just want to do a half hearted mediocre job and make extra bucks off of you. i wanted to ask if they can check the spare tyre in my boot and replace with one of the older tyres but nobody had the time to listen to these questions as they were too busy.

they didn't want to deal with it and wanted me to go with their in-stock rims in a different offset. Got a refund after fighting with them. Stay away from them, they are terrible.
Fake prices advertised will try to rip you off – This place will scam you! do not use them. Looked on their website for a price on Nitto ridge grapplers they were advertised for 398 so I called, half hour later he messages me telling me 479 for each. another shop in Sunshine they didn't have them in stock but they were able to do 415 a tyre fitted and balanced included also including gst in the price. Instead he offered me cooper rugged treks which were in stock for 450 complete fitted and balanced and for anyone who knows, coopers and mickythompsons are the best you can get usually selling for 550+ per tyre. So in the end I got better tyres for less the price of the average tyres I wanted amd I didn't even ask for a cheaper price.
Good budget new tyres – 205 60 16 tyre good price fitted & balanced . This is my second time there. I have 6 cars to look after. This is my best bet. Also would like to thank the young guys getting there hands dirty & working. Show details

If I could give negative stars I would – This place might be cheaper but they have no integrity and customer service, when there is a problem, is nonexistent. Had four new tyres fitted and balanced. fitter destroyed my locking nut key and the associated lock nut, due to using a rattle gun and overtightening the wheel bolts the previous day, and then again using a rattle gun to try and undo the overtightened bolt. I was told that the problem was my bolts were old! Cost of repair/replacement of bolts was $390 Nova Tyres are not interested in any compensation for their complete ineptitude. I was stupid enough to go back for a rebalance the day after and on that occasion the fitter rounded off another normal bolt trying to undo it. Another $50 cost to repair! The wheels are still not correctly balanced! All up the worst experience I have ever had with any tyre retailer in my life.

be for the more expensive ones with fitting?” they said we can do it for $180 fitted and we have the tyres in stock ready to go. I drove to the store and straight away the guy says “no we don’t have those ones in stock we have some that cost a bit more” I said I already called and you said you have tyres here you can fit for $180 “in stock ready to go” and he replied “no the guy that told you that is in training and made a mistake” we have these ones but it will be $220” he was pointing to the exact same brand that were originally advertised online for $65 each. He said no that’s not the same tyres. I then pulled up the ad and showed him the same exact tyres and he then said no that’s an old ad. I said I’ll show you it’s current. He then said no “they’ve made a mistake”. Whoever “they” is??? I then said well you need to pull the ad down. He then said no that’s not our department and they will pull it down (as is still up) I was already there and needed it done so against all my will I said ok would you be happy to do them for $210 cash and with a terse no refused and arrogantly looked away as if I was a bother to him. as they were shredded badly) and the Tyre-fitter checked I hadn’t done any other damage under my car, free of charge. They made my frustrating morning bearable with their friendly smiles and accommodating nature. I would highly recommend this team to anyone.

What a joke!
Communication between collogues is zero, no team work, making up stories as they went along about ordering the part but never came in and no follow up call keeping me in the know.
This simply shows me they aren't accepting fault.
Bottom line is according to the reviews, the majority are negative. Hopefully, there will be more VACCC claims against the company, enough to shut the business down.
Enough is enough!!!
The government should step in, introduce tracking to stop and regulate the motor industry from dogey workmanship.
We are putting our lives at risk if we allow Novo Tyres to work/inspect our motor vehicles.
I value my life and ask you the same - keep well away from Novo Tyres.

fitting substitute tyres other then what I purchased. They Damaged my rim, and they had to call upon an external tyre retailer up the road to come out and fit second tyre on proving there incompetence. Then demanded I pay additional money, I presume to pay for tyre fitter service cost to come on-site. In the end was told not to worry about the damaged rim, and to not come back. I attempted mediation and no reply or customer support from head office. They gave me not only substitute tyres, but tyres that were very old found in back of warehouse. Leaving me with old rubber that’s dry, and begins to crack making them unsafe for road increasing chances of tyre blowout, falling apart. Leaves me questioning how many other ppl have they scammed in particular vulnerable senior citizens that wouldn’t know any better. No transparency, completely unethical, and I find what happened to be very disturbing and unacceptable on all scales.
Nova Tyers springvale Melbourne – is there a heavy duty and a light duty in Comforser M/T as i was given 2x prices from Nova Tyers in Springvale it sounded a bit dodgy after i asked him why the Dandenong outlet was more in price
