AGEISM – I am hiring a moving truck to move my possessions. I have a car licence and absolutely no experience in driving a truck. My father has a truck licence and 60 years experience in driving a truck with basically an unblemished driving record. I got quotes for the travel insurance to reduce the excess and it costs for $30 more for him to take out the policy than if it is me listed on it. The sense in that is zero. Still the best coverage to take out but it makes no sense that a person with no truck driving experience is classed as being much less risk than somebody with 60 years experience. I repeat, absolutely no experience beyond the truck being the largest size I can hire with a car licence.

I am sick of having to complain about things that clearly you should already know about. I shouldn't have to point out the problem with your contractors stealing my stuff, your contractors not returning my car in a timely fashion or in actual working order, your hire car company billing both you and me for the same thing, your business insurance just not providing a reply for weeks and weeks with endless emails asking for my details even though they had already been supplied multiple times and now I have to point out the folly of a 60 years of experience in truck driving being higher risk than me in driving a truck. You should already know all of that without needing complaints highlighting it.
