Owned it for a couple of years, still available. Has never given me any problems. Easy to clean and the rubber seals don't come off. Very powerful blending. Has many functions, making it a food processor but I mainly use it for smoothies. Easy to use, very powerful. Loses one star because I wish the mixing jugs were glass, feels flimsy, fragile. In saying that though it has never broken or cracked. Show details
Choosing cheap delivery option and slow to re-mail – Found this blender to be good quality until I lost the chopping blade. I ordered the chopping blade, order number NAU95563, and have still not received it. I found them using DHL for delivery instead of Australia post, was one reason why i did not receive item. As DHL person i spoke to said there was no where they could drop off for pick up… Read more
later, like Australia post has. Last got email 10 days ago, saying they are looking for the item, but still have not received even another email response let alone the item.
Extremely Fragile Pitcher & Terrible Customer Service I’m now on my third 2.1L pitcher for this blender – not because of misuse, but because the material is incredibly fragile. Despite only using the blender once a week and carefully hand-washing it, both of my previous pitchers cracked within a few months. For such an essential and expensive… Read more
part, the quality is simply unacceptable.
Trying to order a replacement has been a nightmare. I’ve been attempting to get a new pitcher since late 2024. It was constantly out of stock on their website, so I signed up for restock notifications. I finally received an email on May 29th, 2025, and ordered it the same day. My card was charged $52, and I received an email confirming it would ship from June 2nd.
After hearing nothing for weeks, I called customer service on July 15th, only to be told there was a "system glitch" and the item is actually out of stock again – and won’t be available until October. No communication, no refund, no apology – just a vague delay.
This whole experience has been deeply frustrating. Between the poor product durability and the total lack of support or transparency, I won’t be buying a Ninja product again.

Really good but – I have had my ninja for several months and it is as powerful as it markets them to be. I use the cups most (almost daily) and they are amazing. Makes my smoothies in 90seconds. However, after every use you have to take out the rubber seal (which is really difficult) to wash. I used the blunt side of a butter knife to remove it but after about a… Read more
month the seal had torn and was not useful any more. Very disappointing that it didn't come with a spare. Also, not easy to find a replacement online
Great setup, very powerful – I actually love this i wish at the time i had model with slicing and shredding blades but i don't really need it as i have a tefal companion with has those. I love the bowl have made pancakes in the blender and bowl both worked just as good. I have whipped 300ml cream as all i had in the bowl with plastic blade took just 30 seconds on medium. One of the things i loved the most was that the blades come out to wash so much easier than last blender. Show details
Amazing – I have it for one year now and works great. I make smoothies, soup, cocktail and everything, it’s very noisey and loud but still I love it. Highly recommended to buy Show details

Pretty good for mixing pastry dough... until it broke – -- 13/01/2023 --- Dough bowl broken again and exactly the same way as last time. The same thing happened- plastic screw bosses began to stress crack, then after a few months the bottom assembly fell off. I personally think that the dough bowl is *not* dishwasher safe despite the manual saying it can go in the top rack. This time I hand washed the… Read more
bowl for a bit and it did not develop cracks at all, so the stress cracking is definitely related to the dishwasher cycle time at high temperature. I have no probs with the other smoothie cups or the smaller blender blades, they are great and survive the dishwasher, but this product is not a good food processor combined with a blender. Buy the cheaper version of this product for smoothies and save up for a separate food processor.
--- 9/02/2022--- Sent back via flybuys rewards. It took about 2 weeks for a response - basically send it back and we'll replace it, so I have the new one now. It took so long because I forgot to reply to the email and tell them I'd sent it - this is needed to trigger postage of the replacement unit. The replacement took a couple weeks to arrive by the time they responded to the email and it gets through the Christmas postage delays. If I had my time again, I'd have gotten store gift vouchers instead of redeeming points to get the product, I have a feeling that getting a warranty replacement would have been much quicker.
---23/11/2021---- The bowl has broken. The black plastic drive subassembly has sheared off the 4 clear posts from the bowl molding and full disassembled from the dough bowl, rendering this bowl useless. I got this as a Flybuys points redemption in April 2021, so this product is just on 6 months old. Stay tuned.
--- original review---- Purchased about 6mths ago as a rewards points redemption, as a replacement for an older version of the same. The old one failed because eventually the cracks in the plastic jugs caused leaks and I couldn't get a spare.
I mostly used this for baking and only make smoothies occasionally. I find the different sized smoothie cups can also be just the right size for some pie/slice fillings, anything that ends up similar to smoothie in texture, especially if I am having a bigger baking session and have a bottleneck on things I need to mix with my hand mixer. Using the cups for slice fillings generates less dirty dishes and takes up hardly any space in a dishwasher load.
I like the dough bowl more on this model than the previous one, and the idea of a dough blade, but I find that with really stiff doughs the dough "blade" is ok, otherwise for cutting butter into flour for pastry shells the actual blade is way better. I would never have tried using the wide bowl for cookie dough unless I'd seen this advertised on the packaging. Maybe my chocolate chip cookie dough is thicker than whatever their test kitchen used to test the product or perhaps my recipe quantities are overloading the bowl... I feel that the bowl will fail faster if I keep using it like I have for cookie dough. I have already started to see evidence of cracking near the places where the black base is screwed into the polycarbonate bowl (approx 2-3mm cracks). This isn't fatal right now but those cracks will propagate and I'll have to remember to buy a spare bowl to stash before this model gets discontinued.
Its also had a few trips through the dishwasher as per the manufacturer's instructions. If there was one thing I'd like to improve on this product it would be to add drainage holes so that when the bowl is placed upside down in the dishwasher, it allows rinse water to freely drain out of the plastic pockets in the base. I've been finding rinse sediments accumulating in some difficult to reach places around the corners, given the bowl is clear plastic the sediments are nasty to look at.
It was good... till it went up in smoke! – Bought this blender just over a year ago and probably used it once a fortnight at most. A few weeks ago I noticed it was getting hot and making a screaming noise. Used it 2 more times till it melted on the inside and filled my kitchen with smoke! What a piece of junk! I won’t be buying one of these again Show details
Can't rely on the parts – Loved this blender for 2 years! Then... the blade started smoking, so the blade needed replacement. Got the replacement, then great again! Then 2 years later another replacement?? So its $300 for the entire blender, then $35 every couple of years just to replace the blade?? The customer service at Mann-Noble (distributor of Ninjas), said it… Read more
depends on how often it's used etc. Apparently her's has no problem for the last 4-5 years and used everyday, where as mine was not used everyday and yet needed to be replaced twice. I don't even add NUTS to fruit-veg smoothies, why is it breaking?! The girl must've had terrible customer service training and had no idea how to deal with the situation and sounded like she was 16 and was on her first job. It seems like a factory inconsistency yet I have to pay for the blade. It seems like a design fault to capture consumers because there's no choice except to need to order a replacement blade. They are not built for durability. And Mann-Noble know this and don't care. Disappointed.

This is my second Ninja – I purchased this product from the Good guys, at a good price. The product itself has performed as expected. The motor is powerful and deals with most requirements really well. My most recent purchase was subject to warranty claim because the spout on the blender lid broke. When I rang Mann and Noble (Ninja agent) how to proceed with claim their… Read more
representative suggested I could wait till April this year for part or seek help through Good Guys - not helpful really.
This is the second problem I’ve had with lids to the Ninja. I had to replace the blender lid for my first machine, which was out of warranty. That’s ok, but my experience with Mann and Noble, was poor in two ways, poor communication and long wait times to receive part.
So, if all goes well with machine it is a great asset to any household and I’ve supported this with purchasing two machines, but dealing with warrantee claims and purchasing spare parts is problematic.
The best blender for your kitchen – On Sunday 16th August 2020 I purchased this so I could make dough and heaps of smoothies also I can blend things as well for when I move into my own unit in March 2021. The Ninja never arrived so on Monday 8th March 2021 I called the Brighton Store and Brodie rang me back to say that it got lost in transit so he sent me a replacement, which arrived on Thursday 11th March 2021. Amazing – This machine is so powerful I have never had an issue with any of the functions. It’s so smart!! It’s easy to clean, just need to be careful as the blades are so sharp. It comes with a great instruction book which is easy to understand and recipes as well. It has suction cup feet so it does move around on the counter and easy release (for the suction feet) handles at the side of the unit. Very smart idea!! Show details
Amazing! – It's the second best appliance at home and the best appliance in the kitchen. We are absolutely 100% satisfied with it. We had an issue where the plastic flicked of and the whole tray was replaced for is free of charge. Super happy with blender and service. Show details
Ninja blender cleaning issues – Big problem is the recessed thread that is in contact with the food. Impossible to clean, unhealthy odour could indicate bacteria build up. Can not remove the seal to clean it and it is hard to reach being at the bottom of the recess. Show details
Awesome Machine – After wanting a Vitamix forever, I decided to buy the next best thing. So glad I did. Not only did I save a ton of money but I just love my Ninja. I use it every morning for smoothies for the fam and it makes healthy baby food prep so quick and easy. It's super noisy but I've gotten used to it now. Show details
absolute love!! – I am 100% satisfied with this blender. The power this blender has allows you to make smoothies with a thicker texture. I love that you can click one button and the blender does all the work for you! I found with other blenders they can get quite hot when blending for long periods of time and while the ninja gets warm it doesn't over heat! i would highly recommend this blender/food processor to everyone looking at buying a blender! Love this blender – I have this blender ,since 8 month now ,great as usually grind pulses ,also excellent for smoothies, loved it,but past few weeks noise is bit louder, unfortunately didn't fund the receipt. Show details
Best blender I’ve ever owned – This blender is amazing!! I love that I can use the big blender size for margaritas and bulk smoothies and the little ones for smaller smoothies, gauamole and breaking down bigger food items. I legit use this everyday. Show details
Bad customer service and spare parts are unavailable!! – You can't buy the bowl for the older style. Nutri Ninja changed the bowl design "slightly" around August/September 2018. I know because I was sent the new designed one and it does not engage properly. I was on a Wait List for the old design bowl, for 3 months, and was happy to wait. But they decided to cancel my order and refund me. Mann & Noble… Read more
accept no responsibility for their products. I recommend buying another brand.
YOU CANNOT GET REPLACEMENT PARTS!!
Good product – Bought this product a few months ago from Harvey Norman. It's a very good product. If you are planning to lose weight without doing a lot like exercise, then try to drink smoothies once or twice a day. Taste good Show details

A must have for any kitchen! – This machine is an absolute beauty! We use this for our daily smoothies, for our sauces and all our food processing needs. Have had it for about a year now and the blades are still as sharp as anything! Show details
Awesome!!!! – I can't live without my smoothies. My first blender was a bullet which lasted me 12 months, I got the Ninja Auto IQ for Mother's Day almost 3 years ago and I love it. I like kale in my smoothie so I need a powerful blade. It's rare to get good quality items these days so I'm happy I found this blender and when it dies on me I plan on buying the same one again. Cannot believe it! There is no SERVICE OR REPAIRING centers for Ninja in Australia! – I have bought Nutri Ninja Blending System with Auto IQ for 350 dollars in Good Guys Clarkson, WA. After 2 years the blender stopped working, and I brought it to the Good Guys to ask for repairing. I agreed to pay for repairing services because I was out of warranty. It turned out that there is NO REPAIRING service in all AUSTRALIA for NINJA… Read more
brand! Incredible.
I believe that the Good Guys should not sell this brand, if they abandon their clients with their appliance s with no chance to get them repaired.
Saying that, I have written an email to Mann and Noble, which represent Ninja in Australia, and after one month (!) and several reminders - no answer atl all. I have called them but they said they have lots of claims like that and cannot be of any help.
Such a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.
Perfect smoothies every time – Amazing blender! The smoothies are perfect in consistency every time, no lumps or clumps. The only caveat is that sometimes you have to blend things in stages because they won’t all fit in at the first go. Perfect otherwise. Show details
Blends perfectly.....but extremely noisy – This machine does a great job of blending and or pulverising ingredients. Is easy to use with a button for just about everything as well as a pulse function. Clever in that it knows what attachment is being used and lights up the appropriate programs. Makes super 'smooth and velvety' smoothies, great for making snow from ice, mincing meat,… Read more
grinding nuts etc. All attachments feel secure when clicked into place, unit has a sturdy feel to it. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe.
I understand that high powered motors on blenders are noisy, but this blender is extremely noisy, especially when using the IQ blend or ultra blend functions. My husband retreats outside and the dogs run for cover, whilst I don ear muffs, which means I can bear being in the same room.
It also vibrates enough to move it across the bench, so care needs to be taken to make sure it is secure. Non slip matting works well for this.
All in all a great blender, if you can handle the noise.
Had I known about the noise level, would I have purchased this particular blender? Definitely not.
Great versatile blender – Great blender with versatility to make either a quick smoothie or use as a regular blender. Very surprised at how well it handles either blender or nutribullet style use with sensors picking up the different vessel and giving you different programs based on that. Is noisy like other blenders but is easy to store and clean. Show details
Amazing and very functional – Very reliable and solidly built product; use it for all my smoothies, juices, dips, and other simple kitchen tasks. Handles most liquids and solids well, although sometimes fails to initially blend contents. Show details
Can't live without it – Well built, made so many yummy sauces, smoothies, frappes, cocktails and love the add ons too. Without my blender I don't know where I'd be to be honest. Excellent u Show details
Super powerful and smooth blend – Very heavy and chunky but does the job much better than a small bottle typle blender. A bit on the noisy side, but the smoothies do taste better and everything is blended perfectly. I would recommend it for people who like to drink smoothies/ shakes regularly Show details
Good – bought it last year from costco. we use it for our busy coffee shop to make smoothies, milk shake. It is ok to use, but not top stuff. it is a little bit noisy. Show details
