Purchased the “McLaren” NutriBullet 2 weeks ago from JB HiFi Glendale NSW and would not recommend. It was on special and the price has dropped again and now I know why they are trying to clear them off their shelves. After 20 seconds the unit stops blending and you have to wait 5 minutes before resuming the blending. It’s as though the motor… Read more
overheats and needs to cool down? No idea. I have owned several 900 and 1000 series NutriBullets over the years so am very familiar with how they work and have never had this issue where the blending stops after 20 seconds and then needing to let the unit "cool down". This one badged as a “McLaren” is a joke and clearly has stalled at the starting line so don't waste your money.

Powerful! – I love this I could make smoothies for breakfast and Panko from bread crusts, crushed sesame. So powerful but it’s bit noisy when I make breakfast smoothie in the morning. Show details
Not worth the money – This product is very overrated and priced. I used it mainly for smoothies as didn't find it suitable for much else. 60 seconds run time is too long. Recently it died, while mixing a smoothie black bits starting flying out of the vent encasing the motor, smelling of burnt plastic. Better off spending $50 - $100 at Big W or KMart or even Harvey Norman on an old fashioned glass blender Show details

The smoothest smoothies ever! – Bought recently to replace a Kambrook Blitz Pro which had lasted 4 years of daily use, which ain't bad, but the Blitz Pro is no longer available - who knows why. Maybe Nutribullet has most of the market share? Interestingly, the Blitz Pro motor was still fine, it was just a design flaw that resulted in the plastic internal rotor slowly screwing… Read more
itself down into the plastic housing base, so that eventually it literally melted itself into the base, with the ensuing burning plastic experience. I'm hoping that the NutriBullet design doesn't have this flaw. Very impressed with the NutriBullet smoothie ability so far - easily outperforms the old style blenders. The smoothness of the smoothies is the best I've seen - on a level above the Blitz Pro which I thought was good. Smoothies are typically nuts (almond, brazil, pecan, walnut), seeds (linseeds, hemp, sunflower), hard and soft fruit (bananas, apples, etc), hard veges like ginger and tumeric, and liquid, and the bullet transforms it all within about 30 seconds to an ultra-smooth cream-like smoothie. Very easy to use and very easy to clean. Seems well designed and well built and good quality. One interesting feature is the soft start, where the motor speed is slowly ramped up when power is first applied. This should help to lengthen the life of the motor. Let's see what its endurance is like with daily use, as it's rare to find any long-term use reviews. Will it last as long as the Blitz Pro I wonder ?
Everything I wanted in a blender – I am extremely happy with this blender. It simple and easy to use. I only use it for smoothies and grinding coffee beans, and it works perfectly. The best thing about it is the low noise and great efficiency, it blends very quickly. It has not had any leakage at all. I love the 3 interchangeable containers that are dishwasher friendly It sits securely on my kitchen bench , and looks great. Show details
Perfect! – Very powerful blender! Pretty much can blend anything you put in. Easy to use and very well made. Came with 8 piece set with two difference sized bottles for different occassions. Show details

Unscrews while blending! – I’ve been using my magic bullet 1000 a couple of times a week for two years and although it’s been great for smoothies and home made hummus, quite often it just unscrews itself from the base in the midst of blending no matter how tightly I screw the jug on or how hard I hang onto both the base and jug while blending. You don’t realize it’s… Read more
happening until liquid starts pouring out the sides and underneath through the leak hole onto the bench top. Then it’s a total pain to clean it all up and makes me so cranky! It’s worse if I put even one or two ice cubes in with just a banana and oatmilk smoothie. Surely a 1000W motor should be able to handle one little ice cube? I’m over it! Not happy Jan
Unbelievably bad – This blender worked fine for the first 3 months and then started leaking all over the place no matter how tight we ensured the cup was. After a few months we started to observe black powder like substance being ejected from the base of the motor. Contacted support and their response was to replace the blade as it’s mentioned to do so every 6-12… Read more
months in their manual. Wouldn’t have purchased had I known this was a requirement. Looked up the cost of replacement blades and it was $25 AUD plus $15 shipping. No thanks mate, I’d rather spend that money towards my next more reliable blender. What a joke of a brand!
Worst blender – This blender is the worst nutri bullet I have owned. My previous one was awesome and lasted for years. I have had this one for less than a year and it leaks every time I use it. I make sure it is closed tightly every time and it opens up and leaks everywhere. It doesn’t matter if there is ice in it or not. It makes such a mess. I would not recommend buying this blender. Perfect smoothie maker – Earlier this year our old blender finally gave up the goose so we did a bit of research and settled on this NutriBullet 1000. We make lots of smoothies, so we didn't necessarily need the larger jug type piece you get with a traditional blender set up. I have seen these bullet blenders around for a while and I wrongly assumed they were just smaller… Read more
blenders. I was wrong. It absolutely atomises frozen fruit so you don't need to worry about chunks of frozen banana or strawberries escaping the smoothie-making process. I have had it for a few months now and have not had any mechanical issues at all and it gets a good work out, at least two times a week.
The BEST blender on the market – Most people write negative reviews but I love my NutriBullet so much I have to leave a positive review. It’s powerful enough to handle crushing ice etc. It’s the easiest blender on the market to clean as every part unscrews off effortlessly to clean including the blade. The base is a million times better than the smaller NutriBullet for smoothies… Read more
because it has no grooves or compartment to get food stuck into. Highly recommended. It’s only a four cup capacity so not a huge appliance which in my opinion is perfect for my husband and myself. They do make larger NutriBullet’s if you have a large family. Enjoy!
DO NOT Buy – It starts to leak after a while then found out - Need to replace blade every 6 months. Poor design. It costs more to replace blades than it actually costs after 2-3 years Buy one from Kmart -better value!! Show details

Disappointed – Purchased in March 2020 from Bed Bath and Beyond. It was great for daily smoothies for about 4 months but there started to be leaking of black goo from under blades. I would have taken it back to store at that point but because of Covid the stores were closed. I continued to use it until a burning smell started with black flecks flying out, I’ve… Read more
since contacted company re warranty and it needs new blades which they will send (until warranty runs out) But I must pay shipping and handling from California to Canada (When they are in stock). I think this is a common problem with this unit because the operator knew exactly what was wrong. In rereading the manual they suggest replacing the blades every 3 months ($24.00 US dollars plus postage) which means when the warranty runs out it is garbage! What a waste of money! I think I will go to Bed Bah and Beyond to complain further.
Better than 900 series, but NOISY – Upgraded from a 900w unit as I couldnt get a replacement bearing from Bulletbrands Its quieter and seems pretty good so far. The locking mechanism is better than the plastic tabs on the 600/900w units and easy to use. Be aware ice is tough on the blades so use frozen fruit instead. Lets see if the bearings last more than 6 months.. Update: after 12 months blades are no longer sharp and it's very very noisy. Show details
Solid little unit – Only received it today, and made a frozen strawberry smoothie with it. Very efficient, and came out like silky smooth sorbet. Hopefully the blades and motor stay sharp over time. Of course, as with any small blender unit, it is very noisy. That's to be expected though. Show details
Just the Best – Blends almost anything with no issues. From ice to hard veggies to smoothies and shakes! I love the extract function-makes the mix even more creamy. It also does not take long to do the blending compared to other brands wherein you have to open the lid and mix and try again. This Blender is seamless! Show details
Perfect device – I use it on daily basis. I use it to make a breaky shake and it is so easy and quick and device is strong to do so. Very easy to clean Highly recommend Show details
Ok for the basics – I've had my Nutribullet about 3 years now, and I'm throwing it in the bin today. It's a good enough blender for smoothies or pancake mix etc, which is pretty much what we mainly used it for. It worked well for the first year, although we had to replace the cups early on as the little sides would break off and then it wouldn't start the blender… Read more
without pressing down into the machine. The 60 second timer is too long. It either froths up and overflows the contents (despite not filling to the max line) or the noise/smell becomes too much. It has never really produced a smooth drink either. Banana always had chunks left over. I'm a bit disappointed that it's only got such a short life span for the price. While I've had it 3 years, the motor smell and the bearing noise have been present for a year already. We've just pushed through until it well and truly died. Buying another blender today but it won't be a Nutribullet.
Best as a smoothie blender and nothing else – Blends perfectly. Used it as a smoothie maker for veggie and fruits. It is so compact, easy to use and it takes up very little space. It is portable and ready to go for holidays. Show details
Great for the first two weeks – After two weeks working well the Nutribullet stopped working a few seconds into making a smoothie. Would not restart, or unlock from the base. Everything slowly leaked out. Returned for replacement, rotting smoothie still inside. Show details
Very disappointed with it – Fine for the first couple of months but now it unscrews itself whilst blending, in spite of how hard I screw the cap on. Very frustrating and mess all over the counter! ! Show details

Brilliant kick start fir a healthier diet! – Absolutely brilliant blending ability. It turns hard fruits, green vegetables and soft fruits into tasty, satisfying and healthy smoothies. I fill it to the maximum level and have been a bit scared that it will spill out, but all good so far. It is very powerful! I worry that the little plastic edges will break off, but overall I am really happy with this product! Show details
Not a bad product – The Nutri Bullet works pretty well ,since starting on a healthy diet I have used this quite a lot the only thing I don,t really like is the storage as there are quite a few pieces and I have limited cupboard space, but perfect for those who don,t mind having around 9 accessories Show details
It leaks! – It’s got great speed, but leaks all over the bench. It seems that it needs a seal in the base. Iv tried tightening the base but then cannot undo it. Show details
Very good product for small kitchen – NutriBullet N10-0907DG has 1000W power which is more than enough because I normally used it for fruits only. It has 9 pieces of accessories. Some of them are quite useful. I prefer to use 500ml Short Cup because 900ml Colossal Cup is too big for me. It is not very expensive compared with some other brands. Show details
Protein Shake Heaven – I love this machine has the ability to make my icy protein shakes so smoothly. It handles also making peanut butter, blending through peanuts with ease. I am yet to find anything that does not go through the blender so far everything has been blended with ease. Show details
Gr8 Product!!! – Great product and it blends fruits and veggies brilliantly. Easy to clean, very powerful and fast n furious. As with any machinery its noisy but the end result: it does the job. Show details
Fantastic product – Great product that has never let me down. It blends to my fruits and vegetables perfectly. Easy to clean and very powerful! It is a bit noisy sometimes but ok Show details
no regrets – powerful and fast easy to clean blends nuts and ice perfectly and easily - especially for smoothies takes very little space sound isn't too bad - doesn't sound like its struggling compared to other imitations of nutribullet. I have had it for 2 year and haven't had any issues at all and it still works perfectly Show details
Great product, lasted 16 months but replaced without fuss – We bought this product and made plenty of banana and blueberry smoothies, a task well within its design specifications. It did a good job until it fell apart. First the clips that lock it into place started falling off. Then the seals started to go (the beverage leaks out while its blending). The final issue was a critical failure: the… Read more
disintegration of the plastic interface between the engine and the blade attachment. It fell apart the other day after a banana smoothie creation.
The Good Guys, true to recent experience with this retailer, claimed it had no responsibility for it and, indeed, its hands were tied. They claim that the warranty expires at 12 months and that a 16 month old product is not covered. I advise them what they were saying was, in fact, illegal. I pointed them to the ACCC's Consumer Guarantees and the need for the product to be of acceptable quality. If I wanted a blender that would last for 12 months, I would have bought a $20 version from Kmart. We bought the premium option because we wanted superior durability and performance.
Discouraged and not at all hopeful, we began what we thought would be a long-winded conversation with NutriBullet about rectifying the product or getting a refund. We emailed CDB Goldair Australia, which distributes NutriBullet products in Australia, at 9pm on a Monday. By lunchtime the next day, the company had not only apologised for the problem but put a new NutriBullet in the mail. It is easy to continue to buy from a company that stands by the quality of its products.
The customer service experience between the retailer and the distributor? Chalk and cheese.
Great for smoothies – Its so easy to use It blends everything prefectly even if its ice or hard foods. Great for smoothies and other drinking materials its so easy to use there is no complain Show details
