1 Clark  · The consumer has to pay for the shipping to return an item - wake up Oakley, this isn't how e-commerce works!
4 Diane  · Reasonable quality for the price – Great glasses which are well needed on the boat when fishing
1 Mario  · Unbelievable poor quality – Our unused Oakley sunglasses have peeled itself. Not sure if we are unfortunate or the quality of Oakley becomes unfortunate!
2 shaun  · Order Received – Received my order today, 12 days from china not to bad considering. Happy with the quality. Thanks to DHL great tracking service

6 month old Savitar sunglasses delaminating inside the lens. Always kept in and cleaned with the (clean) microfibre bag. Not exposed to saltwater or anything out of the ordinary, without a thorough freshwater rinse afterwards. Contacted Oakley support Australia, whom fobbed off back to vendor. Clearly quality issues. I bought some Oakley sunglasses only 2 years ago and didn't even wear them that much. The filter on the lens is already all damaged and scratched. I thought that spending 100€ on a pair of sunglasses would get me some quality. On the contrary, those glasses bought on an official store of course, are garbage. I have to throw them away already. so disappointed about this brand. A 10€ pair would have done a much better job. I will never buy Oakley products again.

The lens’ scratch so easily, dropped them onto concrete from 1m high and the lens now has some deep scratches. Id expect more from a $300 pair of sunnies. And replacements are $180. What a joke. I work on boats so i have to clean salt off of them often, and even the salt crystals start scratching the film after a bit too. They used to be good… Read more

sunnies but now they’re chinese junk that are “made” in the states. To be honest, the prism tech seems like fugazi anyway, i didn't notice much more visual quality than the Liive sunnies I’ve had which are 5x cheaper. Same durability too. Just get maui jims. Same price and way more durable

I bought a pair of Oakley reading glasses in 2005. I could hardly be happier!!!! Makes Apple products look crap, they're like some Toyota land cruiser that still going after millions of miles. I've stepped on them broke them like 20 times, and then I just carefully manoeuvre the frames back in place. They were completely and utterly ruined,… Read more

lenses scratched everything and then some guy managed to fix them up to almost new for like $100.

I hope to God they haven't done the planned obsolescence thing on us like German cars. Have they?

I purchased a pair of Oakley Hex Jector reading glasses from Lens Crafters. While I love the glasses, within 60 days, the lenses developed a series of cracks (6 separate cracks total now) along the upper and lower edges. Lens Crafters said they could do nothing for me. There is no warranty, beyond their 30-day happiness guarantee. They referred me… Read more

to Luxottica, who allegedly (?) provides some kind of warranty on products, but they advised there is no warranty on prescription eyewear. I contacted Oakley directly, but they also provide no warranty at all for prescription glasses, and referred me back to Luxxotica. For a nearly $500 pair of glasses, this is absurd. I will never purchase Oakley eyeglasses again, and I encourage others to be forewarned.

Do not buy Oakley products full stop. Had to replace lenses 3 times because of peeling, the first pair of lenses were over 7 years old and lasted 2-3 months. Golf shirt was bought and after washing 5 times all of the Oakley transfers peeled off.… Read more

Also bought surf shorts which did the same and got a pull in the material and created a small hole. SO NO TO CHEAPLY MADE trash at trash prices...

Follow-up  · Oakley have now gone to a new low. Received new lenses 4 weeks ago and yet again the lenses are trash, peeled after 4 weeks, no washing, no water, only cleaned with soft case the glasses came in. STAY AWAY FROM OAKLEY!!!!! 4th time this has happened and sick of driving to large shopping centres to get a refund for HDO optics. What a jib!! Have a look .....

Customer service took initiative and solved the problem for me – I ordered replacement lenses on oakley website and next day i tried to cancel. I was told that they are unable to cancel my order. However customer service representative took initiative and redirected my order to their return unit instead of me Receiving it and then paying for sending it to their return department. This move made things easier for me and now my refund request has been confirmed by their return department. Thanks for the support!

I've ordered two different pairs of Oakley ski goggles with matching replacement lens. I get sent the replacement lens, but then they cancel order for the goggles. So now I have two replacement lenses I can't even use that I have been charged for. Seriously?

I had an issue with my $400 Oakley glasses and reached out to Oakley AU support. Instead of helping, they just pointed me to a random repair shop as if I couldn’t Google one myself. I left a negative review, and Oakley’s social media team asked me to email them. I did, only to be told, “Oops, we’re US support, we’ll pass you to AU.” After that… Read more

AU support… *silence*.

A month or so later, support finally sent me a useless email asking if I “still needed help,” even though they hadn’t provided any in the first place. Now I’m left with a $400 piece of plastic that serves as a daily reminder of a bad purchase. I’ve been a big fan of Oakley owning their shirts, and hats. but my first pairs of glasses lack of real support has completely ruined my trust in the brand.

This was my first and last experience purchasing from Oakley. Oakley has sent me the incorrect, lesser product of the one I ordered and paid more for. The worst sunglasses ever – Bought an expensive pair of Oakley sunglasses and used them 10 times before misplacing them at home. A buyer came around to collect them but noticed the sunglasses had started to peel inside… Read more

despite the sunglasses otherwise looking unscratched and new. He decided not to buy the sunglasses and said it is a common problem with Oakley sunglasses. Despite the damage being a manufacturing defect the Oakley store in George st sydney refused to replace the glasses. If Oakley sunglasses last less than 2 years then they are not worth the high price they charge for them. I have had a variety of other sunglasses over the years without ever seeing a manufacturing defect. When I bought the sunglasses I was never told by the Oakley sales assistant that the glasses would only last for a maximum of 2 years. Do not buy Oakley sunglasses

Terrible customer experience – One of the worst online shopping experiences. I ordered a pair of customs for my son for Christmas during the Black Friday sales, and a week before Christmas, day they were meant to arrive, the order was cancelled due to a part not being available. delivery day getting a notice order is cancelled. My son had his heart set on having his name etched, and no other brand does this, hence it’s not a zero star review. A month after Christmas the arrived, and Oakley refused to honor the Black Friday sales price. Oh and their customer feedback post sale, if it’s negative, their form doesn’t submit. Would never shop here again. Terrible customer experience.

Oakley are ripping the public off – I just went on the Oakley website and they have a 50% sale. What a load of crap. They have inflated the prices of their sunglasses and still not applied the 50% discount. giving you 50% off. This company is rorting the public and still not giving you 50% of. They are racketeering just like Apple Computers which are discounted in all other suppliers stores except an Apple Store.

Oakley raised the RRP to make their discounts look attractive when all year round you can buy them at a lot less. They were recently bought out by RayBan I believe, hence the aggressive sales marketing and lack of spare parts.

Terrible product & Terrible experience at an expensive price – I purchase a pair of Oakley Holbrooks at RRP $288. Most expensive sunglasses I have purchased and as such I took very good care of them even purchasing a hard case for them. less than a month after purchase the arm broke, a small plastic lug. On doing some research I found this is a common fault. I put in a warranty claim which was a nightmare in… Read more

itself as I had to go through parent company Luxottica. I put the claim in one month ago. It took two weeks for them to process the claim and admit fault and where to provide "full unit replacement" and I would receive them in a max of 7 days. Well that was two weeks ago and still nothing. I eventually got a tracking number to see the glasses were being sent from China, I asked why a pair of glasses readily available in Australia and made in the US be coming from China. I've had no reply . I have asked for a refund as this is clearly a design fault but honestly I have no idea what is happening. Please do not purchase Oakley sunglasses as the parent company has dropped the ball and if it were me I would avoid any glasses owned by Luxottica (Oakley, Rayban, Parada , Arnette etc).

Cheap plastic - notch on arm snapped off – The notch in the arm of my $300 Holbrook sunglasses snapped off when I was taking them off my head . Oakley refuse to replace the arm because of the cheap materials they use. I'll never buy Oakley sunglasses again if they can't stand by the quality of their products.

Pathetic Customer Service – So I ordered a pair of sunglasses online, prescription lenses, with a certain type (Tungsten Polarized) brilliant delivery within a week, that's where the issue came. numerous emails back and forth, apparently they couldn't send the correct lenses, they couldn't credit me a refund for the lenses or just refund the difference between them both, wouldn't let me keep the frames and issue refund just for the lenses. Apparently their system doesn't allow this. I have never heard such nonsense from a Global company like this. Only option is to send the sunglasses back and try and reorder again, in the hope they send the correct ones this time, I do not have the patience to see if they can get it right! Absolutely ridiculous customer service.

Poor quality lenses – Purchase Oakley polarised sunglasses for around $200 about 12 to 18 months ago. Happy with the frames, but lenses have deteriorated poorly in the last 4 months.
