I then get advised that my order is on its way - 1 week later with no communication in between but think this is a good outcome. Package arrives - only 1 of 2 items present. I again query if there is a second package coming. More apologies about lack of communication and advised that they forwarded one they had in stock but the other is on back order and I will be kept updated - seems like they are trying. 8 weeks later, no updates so I check in to see how it is going. More apologies and they will get back to me with an update shortly. Another 6 weeks later and still no updates, so I check in again and am getting frustrated with the process. They now advise that they have request an update 'from management'. Next day I am advised that stock will arrive in approximately 6 weeks time which would be 6 months after the purchase was made (for items in stock). I ask them to clarify if any stock has been available in the last 4.5 months as no-one would pre-order if they knew it was would be a 6 months total delay (not that I did anyways). They respond that shipping delays are out of their control. Refund request made and they advise it will take 3-5 business days, or will that be months I wonder......................

Their stuff SUCKS! I am installing a bullbar from them.... I've almost cried twice in frustration and I'm a 50yo man. I had to reweld the mounting bracket to fit my truck. Then I had to fabricate a speciality winch control box bracket to fit... And then scraped it when it didn't clear the lip of the bull bar. But the final straw (why I am here)… Read more
was when I went to install the winch fairlead roller only to find that they use some non standard size.
I am also dirty that it doesn't come with a wiring harness for the 4 lights it cleary has installed.
I used to race off road. I have done many, many truck mods. I even have an engineering degree and have worked many years as a trades person. And I can say, with little hesitation, that this has been the worst install I can remember.
So don't buy anything from them.

I bought the bonnet protector and weather sheilds for my next gen ranger wildtrak, I'm very happy with how they look but the instructions for bonnet protector is very hit and miss no words just pictures to follow and not very clear one's. But all in all very happy with the product .
Purchased the OCAM tonneau cover HD cross bars for my BYD Shark 6 , very happy. Quality was great, installation was easy . Will possibly look at the OCAM roof top tent for my next purchase. Thanks OCAM .
Bought an awning 2.5 x3m the camlocks on the extendable poles failed to secure on first use, and have a design flaw when ambient temperature is high. Told ocam months ago, best I got was they would take it up with their factory, had to repair them myself. No after sales support for me
Purchased moulded floor mats for 2023 LDV t60 when they arrived they had mounting clip holes but no clips. Contacted support and after numerous emails they replied that mats don’t come with clips and they can’t supply. Now have water and dirt going through clip holes through to carpet contacted again and was told that now is to late to return How can you sell moulded floor mats with holes in them Very dodgy company to deal with

Roller Shutter broke after 6 months and although they gave me instructions on how to fit it they stated because I didn’t get them to install it, it was my fault and they won’t honor the warranty
Follow-up · It was very basic to install, although the instructions were not that clear. It broke on a “join” in the metal after 6 months and they are saying it’s the way I installed it. I am now taking them to small claims court. Whatever you do, don’t buy from them they don’t honor warranty work.

info and photo evidence, they suggest I can return the product but will not reimburse for shipping to me and then to them. I was in Karratha, that is about a 300dollar loss. They keep telling me they have been fitted to my type of car before. The type of nut have a washer fixed to them which is needed as you have to slot them into the door cavity, there is no easy way to put a washer on the stud first by hand as the access holes are very small. See attached (the larger hole in the middle is for the wires and plugs only).
I will be taking this to consumer protection and or ACCC.

Follow-up · They did nothing, basically don't want to refund and also pay for freight, telling me to physically bring back to the closest store, which is 2000km away. I even showed them an email from Mitsubishi saying the doors have changed since the 2015 model. Still nothing. Stay away from this mob. I have not progressed to consumer protection, just want to enjoy my holiday for now.

installation done at a garage, and the mechanic only informed me that it was missing a third piece once the installation was complete. I contacted OCAM 4x4 immediately to ask if I could purchase just the third piece without returning the current set, as they have a 30-day return policy. I was told that the part is on backorder for a long time, and they could not give me any estimate of when it would be available. I then asked if I could return the current set and instead purchase the 3-piece bash plate. This request was refused solely because the product had been installed. The installation had just been completed, and I could have easily removed, repacked, and returned it from the same garage. The product was still brand new and had not been driven at all. I find this to be very poor customer service and a lack of understanding toward the customer. I am now forced to wait an unknown amount of time for the third plate, leaving my gearbox fully exposed and preventing me from going off-road. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.
UPDATE UPDATE I got a call from sale management Claudette. She was very helpful and understanding. We both came up with a great solution and I am 100% satisfied. Great company and great quality product.

Sky Awning 2m x 3.0M and my OCAM Night Sky Camping Instant Shower Awning after a few months of good use, also the Custom floor mats I purchased fit very well and appear to be well-made and at this stage very happy with them. This company is only good for selling products, but if you want to return anything- good luck, because they’re after sales ‘service’ sucks. Firstly, you have to go through an automated system, which eventually leads to a human in Australia, but they transfer you to what sounds like a ‘customer care’ centre in the Phillipines. In summary, I brought a throttle controller from the Bibra Lake branch, installed it the next day as per instructions and it just didn’t feel right. Basically it made everything worse, until the following day it killed my throttle completely and I had to limp to the side of the road. I disconnected and removed the controller, and went back to factory which returned my car to normal. Fortunately I’d retained all original packaging so returned the product to its original box and it all looked as I’d opened it. I called OCAM on the following Tuesday, eventually got through to a human who directed me to their ‘care centre’ number to text what my issue was. I sent a text but I got no response all day. I called the following day, explained it all over again to another human who told me someone would get in touch. I then got a text from the number I texted the previous day but they obviously hadn’t read my message which was directly above theirs, so I told them to call me. I then got a call from someone who sounded like they were in the Phillipines, and after explaining it all AGAIN, they told me they would get the package collected, and on their receipt of the package it would be sent away for testing to determine if the product was faulty, and only if that was proved would I receive a refund. I told them that wasn’t acceptable, and that I should be refunded once they had received the product, and any issues with the product was between them and the manufacturer. So then it was suggested by the ‘care centre’ to provide evidence that this product was faulty. I said I can’t as I’d already removed the product and repackaged it back in its original packaging, and also that’s not my responsibility. My statement of problems incurred should be sufficient for product return and refund. So after they continued to repeat their only option as stated above, I asked to speak to someone else and when that failed I decided to call a different OCAM number, but unfortunately they’re all connected and all go to the same place- the useless ‘care centre’. Is there anything more frustrating that sitting on hold, listening to an automated message on loop, telling you ‘how important your call is’ while ignoring you, and how OCAM provides ‘excellent service’ while giving you the worst service. Just go somewhere else.

I bought a tail gate strut for my Ford next gen Ranger. I followed all the prompts on there website. Upon receiving it I found it was not for for purpose. Staff were rude saying I should have read the terms and conditions. Once returned they deducted 10% because I didn’t return in the original package and $10 because they had to reorder new packaging. customer service team because i was told by them that the product was in fact being dispatched from QLAND and I was to pay a further $135 dollars for a store transfer and this could take a further 3 weeks!!!
When contested - obviously I would not have chosen to purchase form this business if I knew that this product would take 4 weeks to get to my address and cost more than the initial price I paid. I feel extremely mislead as a consumer not only by the turn around time for delivery, but also in all communication received. The customer service team then told me that I luckily have been given free store transfer fee and it may be picked up between Monday and Wednesday (call made Friday) and that they have no idea how long it will take to get to me. Or that they could not even provide a date that it would arrive in their WA warehouse.
When a business does not provided clear communication with a customer and hidden costs I do not expect to be told that I should be really grateful that I am not being made to pay a fee for a transfer to another store which was never mentioned in any aspect of the ordering process.
The business is liable for clear concise communication – which I have not received- I was not made aware this product which I ordered was being shipped from QLAND- with a further turn around time of 3 weeks or more- that should have been communicated straight away. I would not have chosen this business as a supplier if I had known that this product could take a month to be delivered to my address- that is miscommunication. Furthermore, I expect that your business having made this mistake, would then work to rectify it immediately, not have your customer service rep state that this may be dispatched Monday – Wednesday and I have no idea when it will get there!!
Very disappointed- this has pushed back my conversion project and the company did nothing to sort this issue- I requested a refund ordered from a better company- awaiting refund.

Emailed saying the items were incomplete and was sent a ridiculously exhaustive list of photo demands. 3 emails worth of photos later, still having to ask for my money back. Paypal and within 5 minutes they responded. In the meantime I ordered elsewhere and already been delivered and installed. If you don't have it in stock, say so, so that buyers can make informed decisions about where they will purchase. Now I still have to wait 3-5 days for my refund, yet they take your money straight away.
