Total scam. False advertising. They use "reamaze" for AI automated replies. Stainless steel products, not titanium, you can tell this by colour and weight. Titanium is almost half the weight and is a bit grey-yellowish compared to stainless steel. Also, not hand-hammered, just press-formed. They claim is aluminium between a foil of titanium and… Read more

9ne of stainless steel. However, I am very familiar with how titanium looks like and neither side looks like titanium.

Quality beautiful finishing products that work well. Need a bit of time to learn on how to cook/use and clean the Okura titanium cookware. Otherwise it is non toxic long lasting environmental friendly. Have not tried fry rice with the new wok yet. The deep pot is really really good, I used it to steam/slow cook. Disappointed with the… Read more

return/refund experience I hope they will swiftly improve the work flow/turn around time in this department. Highly recommended 8/10. Independent/unpaid review on 19th June 2026.

I was excited to upgrade my cookware, and while one skillet performed well, the overall experience was disappointing. Out of the box, three of the four skillets had visible scratches, including one that looked like a small gouge. For a new product that says it is (Built to last), this immediately raised concerns about quality control—especially… Read more

given the brand’s reputation. To their credit, the pan with no blemishes cooked very well. Heat distribution is even, and once properly seasoned, it deliver a solid non-stick performance. From a purely functional standpoint, it does what they’re supposed to do. Unfortunately, customer support fell short. While they responded promptly, they dismissed the damage as “cosmetic” and didn’t offer a meaningful resolution like a replacement. When most of a set arrives flawed, that’s not reassuring. In the end, one pan perform nicely—but the combination of visible defects and underwhelming support makes it hard to fully recommend. Will continue to season and cook in all skillets. Will review again after a few months of use.

I returned unopened pan to USA address found online (it’s not advertised on the company website) however return address is located in China, not the united states! Received multiple emails offering 5% discount then 10% discount if I keep the pan. No refund has been issued so I filed a dispute with my bank). I also tried canceling order multiple… Read more

times but failed. Based on my experience, I would avoid doing business with Okura Cookware. Here’s the most recent email: Thank you for reaching out, and we’re sorry to hear you are considering a return. As the item is not defective, your request falls under our standard return policy. In such cases, please note the following return conditions: * Returns must be shipped to our international warehouse in Asia * Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer * Estimated return shipping cost: USD $30–$50 * Possible customs handling fees: approx. $10–$15 * Transit time: 20–30 days * Packages may be delayed or held by customs * A valid tracking number is required * Any damage during return transit may reduce or void the refund * Refunds are issued only after inspection upon arrival at our warehouse

Due to these international return requirements, the process can unfortunately become costly and time-consuming for customers. To make things easier for you, we would like to offer a 10% partial refund, issued immediately to your original payment method, with no need to return the item. You may keep the pan, and we also recommend using it after proper seasoning for best performance. This option allows you to: * Avoid return shipping and customs costs * Save time and long international transit delays * Resolve the matter quickly and conveniently

Ordered a pan which arrived in good time unfortunately it worse than kmart quality. The base isnt flat and it rolls around on the cooktop because.of this. Sent several emails to the company who refuse to reply. Do not buy from these scammers.

Be careful. Once you place an order, you won’t be able to cancel it. Also, if you decide to return it, you’ll have to pay for the international shipping cost to send it back to China. It’s Japanese-style, not a Japanese-made product. I purchased the 8-inch titanium pan, and eggs stuck to the surface when I fried them.

These pans are not as advertised Complete rip off…. I have made contact with Okura a number of times via email requesting a refund as the unit is still within the 30 day period but all I get are excuses to follow the pre use instructions which I have done to the letter. How can these companies trade on Facebook and Instagram Perhaps Facebook needs to be held accountable for allowing these non ethical companies to trade on FB.

"Japanese Damascus steel knives" are in fact Chinese drop-shipped cheap steel with laser pattern. Avoid at all costs. If you want to try trash products like this, buy it from Temu instead for 1/4 Okura's price.

Absolute snake oil. Pans are certainly not non-stick, I have tried their recommended cooking processes to the letter and no difference. They might have some sort of titanium oxide coating (maybe?) but the pans themselves are just stainless steel, and nothing to be hyped about. Steer clear.

The products were certainly not titanium, hand hammered or non-stick. They arrived in haggered brown boxing wrapped in loads of tape, nothing like the fancy aqua boxes on the website. They were in pieces, literally nuts and bolts, rubber seals and no instructions. They tarnished after 3 or 4 uses. I have no idea what they're made of. The… Read more

The item is so good looking that I stayed one day just watching it! When I cooked something, I got the best of the best. The heat arrived gradually, it’s really not sticky and my food was excellent.

I spent $500 on Okura products, two pans and one titanium chopping board. The board scratched with the first thing I cut and it scratched worse than my steel chopping board. With the two pans, I followed the instructions of heating, rubbing oil and heating. First thing I cooked was eggs and they stuck straight on the pan. The pans come… Read more

disassembled which is odd. The screw hole exposed that need to have the screw put in to fix the handles are quite sharp and dangerous.

I sent a really long email to them with a lot of pictures. In the end they offered me 20% refund to keep it, instead of sending it back.

I took the 20% because I didn't want to bother with the shipping process and paying for it.

I only use it now for soups and not for frying. I don't recommend this product if you are after a non stick experience. I also don't recommend the chopping boards. The CEO on the website doesn't even have a surname.

offers of partial refunds (increasing over time) rather than a straightforward resolution. A full refund was only offered on the condition that I pay for international return shipping to China.

The product was presented as Japanese, however the business address listed is in the United States and the return address provided was in China, which was not clearly disclosed at the time of purchase.

I ultimately accepted a 65% partial refund to avoid the financial risk and cost of international return shipping. Based on my experience, I would recommend that you carefully reviewing the return terms and product claims before purchasing.

Follow-up  · Delivery was many weeks which proves it was from Chin. It was packaged in a flimsy square box. You need to assemble the handle yourself. Another example of a sub quality product.

They claim to be a Japanese quality brand but in reality they are low quality Chinese products. My frying pan that was supposed to last a lifetime became discolored and uneven at the bottom after two uses. The customer service do not help and stop replying when trying to get a reclaim.

off? I paid $169.00 Australian dollars and was so excited to receive it. Does anyone else have a stamp on the bottom side of the pan at all coz mine doesn't. Didnt have any issue with the handle having to put it on but no instructions etc, disgusting

Follow-up  · All of the above, wouldn't refund offerred a 20% discount . Pan was packed in a small cardboard box with no instructions so not sure if it was a Okura Pan or a scam. I tried baking soda and vinegar but didnt remove the burnt parts on the pan. Not a happy customer.

I have not used the cookware yet. The pans appear to be good quality and solid. What concerns me is the handles and knobs came unattached. I'm supposed to assemble them with the tiny nuts and mini wrench they sent. I expected a good cookware set to come with handles permanently attached in the factory. No matter how tightly I attach the handles… Read more

False & Misleading -you be the judge. I purchased two items from Okura Cookware a solid walnut cutting board and a 12" Titanium Pan with lid. Both were ordered and paid for on 8 March and delivered 27 and 29 March respectively. When I received the titanium pan I was puzzled as to how a 12' pan with handle could fit into a square package, the… Read more

reason as I found out when I opened it is that you have to assemble the pan yourself by attaching the handle with two supplie dome nuts, likewose you have to attach the handle to the lid with a supplied screw. When I tried to mount the handle to the pan, it turned out that 2 out of the three dome nuts were the wrong size, they are so big that they slip right over the studs on the pan and don't engage with the thread on studs. I immediately contacted Okura and I have been corresponding with their 'Customer Service fot three weeks, they keep obfuscationg, and when I eventually asked to return the pan for a refund they adviswed it would have to be at my cost, and to send it to this address: Okura return address: (On their website they list their address as Casper, Wyoming, USA) 4th Floor, Shuanglun Yurong, No. 288-1, Dongkang Road, Xinfeng Village, Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China I pointed out that the product was faulty as it was supplied with incorrect dome nuts, and therefore according to their own policy it should be returned at their cost, and I requested freight paid return details, which they have failed to provide even after repeated requests. In their email replies they offer ever increasing 'discounts' on the original purchase price if I will keep it. Of course that is unacceptable as the product is useless without a handle. Apart from the fact that the product is faulty, I feel that their advertising and descriptions of the product are misleading and deceptive, it is inferred (strongly) that the product is 'Handhammered' - it is not, that it is from Japan or the USA - it is not, that it is a premium product - it is certainly not, and their website show fully assemble products next to nec branded packaging, I received a unbranded cheap cardboard box with the contents wrapped in bubble wrap. As I haven't had any success with getting an acceptable resolution through Okura I raised a dispute and recharge through my card provider - American Express - who have been most helpful so far. Please don't fall for the image presented on their website and Facebook ads, that is not what you can expect to receive.

Im afraid I was also scammed. Sent me a cheap Chinese broken pan. Also tests conclude they are stainless steel not titanium. Okura claims that it’s the last pan you’ll ever buy. That’s right it’ll be the the last pan that I’ll ever buy from Okura. When asked for a refund they started with 10% refund then 20% then finally 35% refund which was the last offer. At the end it’s just a con job of selling a product which does not do what it’s supposed to do.
