Olde English Tiles Sydney has the worst sales people I've ever had the misfortune to deal with – I went into the store with my sister to have a look at the verandah step treads, the sales guy marched over and barred our entry to the store until we had used the hand hygiene, he then marched back to his desk and completely ignored us for the time we were there, not sure how they sell anything but glad we found out before we bought anything, they do not deserve the one star

Unethical and untrustworthy – Hopeless service. Sales people are not interested in detail or helping you select pattern and colours. Sales manager uses tactics that are worst than a used car salesman. Don’t trust them and definitely don’t use them as their quality of work takes short cuts. Show details

Rudest people ever. Stay clear – From the moment I walked in the door The customer service was appalling. to them locking the car park gates on the 6 customers in store at 325 when it states on their website 4pm. Because of this I would not buy from them ever and went to renditions tiles who were lovely

Substandard – I can recommend this business for their range of tiles. Do not use their recommended tilers the workmanship is very poor at best Having said that they did return several times at the time to fix mistakes. Unfortunately 2 years later some of the grout has lifted and needs to be re applied. And of course they are now not interested in hearing about it. Show details

I could not be happier with the outcome of my new Verandah and path from Olde English Tiles in Melbourne – I am an interior designer working on my own house , and wanted to try this company before recommending them to my clients . I could not have been happier with the outcome of my newly tiled verandah and path of my period home in Middle Park . The guys were helpful , knowledgeable , fast and courteous . I will definitely be using them again with my clients and have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone .

Avoid at all costs! Would give 0 stars if possible – Shocking customer service and not worth the headache in dealing with this company. One issue after the next. have to wait 4 months (with the job already half done). I called their sister store in Adelaide who had plenty in stock and could ship them to me for $20, confused as to why the Annandale store had not contacted them. They could not even provide details such as the batch number to ensure for colour matching stating they had 'just given us what they had in stock' A huge amount of tiles left over (i'm talking around 12 boxes), and they would not accept them to be returned for refund. Tiles were poorly packed and arrived uncut. Manager is Incredibly unprofessional and feckless when it comes to customer service and business. Go elsewhere.

Such wonderful service – I can not speak highly enough about OLDE ENGLISH TIELS. We were extreamly happy with the level of service from both sales staff and tradsman. Thank you for a job well done.

Olde English Tiles Australia – Thanks to Sam and staff for their excellent service. They were most helpful in selecting our tiles and delivery was friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back for our next tile purchase.

Keep Well Clear – Dodgy x 1000 times! Paid out for delivery of tiles (winkelman) some of the most expensive tiles you can buy this was a $15000.00 order. sizing - Tesselated tiles are absolutely unacceptable if they are not accurate. Plain and simply you cannot install them. Took me months and months and physical threats to get action as the lies that spew from their mouths are deplorable. If you treasure your sanity steer clear.

The guy that handles customer service is just an absolute cretin, no words can describe the disgust.

refund, have the excess tiles collected from my home and returned to their showroom.

None of this happened. I put the case to The Department of Fair Trading. After that i received a partial refund from The Olde English Tile Company Sydney. Just enough refund so that it was not worth my time going to a Department of Fair Trading tribunal. They never collected the excess tiles.

A Department of Fair Trading staff member told me that they have received a lot of complaints against The Olde English Tile Company Sydney.
