Excellent Service – After recently setting up NBN in our unit, there were some initial problems that were not directly related to On the Net, however the guys go out of their way to assist any way they can with excellent all round advise. Show details
There is no better service on the Gold Coast – Hade a problem with intermitted problem they tested my line and Uplode was not consistent. Organize Nbn and told them what to fix. My friend had same problem 4 times call out by NBN to locate problem. The difference is they were told what to do!!!!! Worth all the extra couple dollars to compare to the cheapest deal. Show details

Best internet service provider I have ever had – I have been with On The Net for 3 years now. Confused when I was signing up and a company rep phoned me to help complete my application. I pay for 50/20 but the 50 MBPS is often around 53 so I am getting faster internet than I am paying for. Upload is always around 18 or 19. Perfect connection. Rarely have problems with losing connection. … Read more
They do not have overseas call centres so you actually talk to a local. Also have a VoIP phone for the trivial cost of $20 a year.. On the rare occasion there are connection failures. I receive prompt attention. Highly recommended
Great Service from a Local Company – Great company to deal with and local to the gold coast. Speeds are stable with no drop outs yet. Happy to recommend them when compared to slightly lower priced unhelpful overseas companies. Show details
GREAT COMPANY – They have fantastic customer service (thanks Paul) great NBN speeds and the prices are keen too. Was dealing with Telstra but they said 3 months to connect to NBN so i called onthenet -they did it in 3 days! Show details
Great no problems – We have been with onthenet for several years and have never had a problem or outage. We have a 150 plus bonus 50Gb plan and it works fine for us. Show details
Very disappointed with On The Net’s loyalty to their customers – Very disappointed with On The Net’s loyalty to their customers. When I signed up about a year and a half ago, the package options were $59 for 150GB or $69 for Unlimited. I went with $59. A few months ago their prices went up to $69 and $79 respectively for new customers (prices remained the same for existing customers). At this point I needed… Read more
to upgrade to unlimited so assumed since I was an existing customer, I could get the $69 for unlimited as per all the other existing customers were getting ($10 extra to upgrade from 150GB to Unlimited). This was flatly refused, and I was told I would need to pay an additional $20 a month to upgrade (keeping in mind they have thousands of customers on $69 for unlimited who have been with them as long or less than I have). Even being under financial hardship because of COVID19 made no difference. The excuse was that their wholesale prices went up late last year. On later investigations I found this was not true, and NBN actually dropped wholesale prices in November 2019 and left the 50/20 wholesale price as is. Very disappointed to be deceived after being such a loyal customer. If you want a 50/20 Unlimited package, I would suggest Launtel, TPG or MyRepublic.
Outstanding service – When I needed to join NBN I had reservations after hearing other horror stories. I decided to join ONTHENET because they were local and had a local service call centre. Like most NBN providers, I joined online, but when I had to call ONTHENET to ask a question I was pleasantly surprised to be answered immediately. The service officer was happy to… Read more
spend some time answering my questions. They obviously know what they are talking about and can explain technical details in plain English.
Good NBN service – After being an on-the-net customer for many years I recently required NBN connection after moving back to the Gold Coast. As always the service was quick and smart and installation happened within a few days . The speed and service is great and have had no disruptions to service. Show details
Local company doing what they say they will – We switched from a major telco to OntheNet HFC NBN50 approx. 6 months ago and have been happy to date. After an initial issue with an NBN Co. tech, OntheNet ensured that we were prioritised with our connection and we were up and running within days. We are heavy users who mostly during peak times are running Netflix on two TV's, gaming consoles… Read more
and web browsing. We've not experienced any dropouts and typically achieve down speeds of 28 to 40 mbps and up speeds of 15 to 20 mbps. Importantly, the speeds are stable with low ping. It is refreshing to speak with a local and we are more than happy to pay a few $$ more a month to see jobs stay in Australia along with profits.
Thank you onthenet for making my transition smooth and being there to sort issues – I transitioned to NBN from ADSL (both with onthenet) I had an issue with the NBN installation and it was fixed quickly. The only times my NBN has dropped out Onthenet has investigated and got back to me immediately with updates on the situation. Onthenet staff are all so helpful, have been with them for years and recommend them to everyone on the Gold Coast. Show details

Know better, choose better.
Not the cheapest, but it's good – I get full speeds all the time with no congestion issues. Not the cheapest in town and priced at a premium but it's worth it. They got me connected quickly. Show details
A customer support team I can understand – I researched and came up with onthenet.I called and spoke to someone in "Australia".I joined up and it was easy fast to connect. The service is faultless.Spend a few bucks more and use these guys.Previous was Belong and they tell lies overcharge and are generally ignorant to anything you say and thats only when you finally get one you… Read more

Most competent staff in all departments – I ordered the NBN and router bundle online and it was quick and easy to plug in and go. We had internet almost immediately after moving in. The housemates often have online games going at the same time as movie streaming and it keeps up with us. We've only had one drop-out in 9 months that lasted about 5 minutes. Any time I've called… Read more
regarding billing it's been quick and easy to get through to someone and they've been able to answer my question straight away without putting me through to half a dozen people. Same goes for the emails, they seem to want happy customers which blows me away after dealing with Telstra and TPG.
10/10 - I would and do recommend signing up with On the Net if you're comparing.
Best ISP I've ever dealt with – After going through 3 different ISPs for our NBN FTTP connection and having constant dropouts and unusable speeds, we tried OntheNet and haven't had a single issue. Excellent fast customer service. They recently restructured their plans to provide more data for a lower price, and automatically updated their existing customers to the new plans without being asked! I am constantly recommending OntheNet to anyone looking for a new ISP. Show details
Great company to deal with. Highly recommend them – Ordered 4th July, connected 28th July. We went for 50/20 Mbps. The support up to installation was excellent. I'm not very tech savvy and the customer service people were really helpful with all of my (sometimes stupid!) questions. We don't use the internet for gaming. Mostly Netflix, movies, music etc. Very happy with speeds. The only problem we have is Stan dropping out all the time but think that's a Stan problem! Show details
