Useless for most apps – The Oppo r11 is locked into android 7.1 which is unable to use most apps; android auto, Bank of Melbourne, etc. I've wasted my money on a useless product. If they just allowed it to update to android 8.0 then it would be a fantastic product. Show details
Horrible phone – When I fell over the whole thing started breaking down. Everything about this phone screams low care about customers and building a good phone. I will NEVER buy from Oppo

Good value for money – I've had Samsungs for years so that's my comparison. Price was the motive for change. The Oppo seems like a really good phone so far. It actually came with a back protection case which is nice. They'd be pretty cheap to make so too bad other companies don't do the same it's a nice touch & protects the phone till you get something better. The… Read more
time is a bit confusing initially They don't have a specific Brisbane time so you need to change to manual or it reverts to daylight saving & you'll be an hour out.
The setup is a bit different to the Samsung but pretty easy to navigate. All the google stuff has its own little box which is good. It's worth noting that the charger cord plugs in with the reverse side facing up to samsung.
Not madly fussed with the phone /message sound options but particularly miss the gentle alarm music Samsung had. Any suggestions on a good app would be great.
Overall this phone has pretty much what the others have but costs less. So if you're on a budget it's worth considering
This phone is a potential iPhone killer! – I was in the market for a new replacement phone for my iPhone 4s when it battery finally died out last July and was looking to buy an iPhone 7. The price was too steep judging on the fact that i'd have to dish to $1000+ for a phone that looked identical to 3 previous releases. Then I stumbled upon the Oppo r11 which was at the time advertised at… Read more
$599 at JB HI-FI which for me was a complete steal and saved me from further dispensing out my hard earned dollars. Upon doing further research I found that the Oppo r11 had a much better specced camera and bigger screen but for only half the price for an iPhone 8.
Out of the box it felt glorious down to its sleek black edge to edge bezels and smooth curves. On the rear was a carbon fibre like material that was of a solid sturdy construction unlike anything I've experience with the iPhone. On startup I was greeted by a friendly oppo chime and was pleasantly surprised that it was running android 7. Opening native applications was a breeze with its blazingly fast cpu and 4GB of ram which made multi-tasking games to browsing youtube a blast. For the past year that I've been using the oppo r11 never had I experience a day that I needed to charge the phone twice as it's 4000 milliamp battery was more than enough for the daily grind. I was extremely pleased to see a sub-$600 phone equal and even best an iPhone which makes this product the more compelling purchase for anyone looking for a reliable yet pleasantly rewarding device.
A Real Disappointment – I thought I was buying another android phone (and yes it runs on android) but that's about where it ends. There's now message bar at the top, you can't see your messages or any missed activity until you actually switch the phone on and it takes 2 actions to close them (you just can't sweep aside). If you search the Internet you'll get the… Read more
impression that this handset has fantastic specifications. And indeed in some ways it has, large memory, a seemingly good camera though the reviews differ greatly.
I've been a dual Sim user this thing in Australia only comes with a single Sim even though there is a tray for 2 Sims. This made it on usable from me.
The colour OS operating system doesn't allow you to put widgets on the home screen or if it does it must be really complicated – there is no app tray and there is no operating manual for the phone (December 17).
Bought on a virgin plan.
If you're familiar with Samsung or straightforward Google android do not buy this phone.

Incredible phone – Best phone I've had. The plastic Case has proven bullet proof. Can speak highly enough of it. Would get another oppo for sure. Love it's compact size yet big screen. Show details
If you don't wanna spend $1000, check it out – It's an Android which is what I prefer in the first place. The only thing is sometimes the Camera will be really blurry and not be able to focus. Has heaps of memory for the thousands of photos I take. I highly recommend this phone for anyone who doesn't want to spend $1000 for a decent phone! Show details
Best phone I ever got – After being an iPhone user since the first iPhone till iPhone u I purchased oppo r11s due to cost factor. I found it to be the best phone I ever used. Costfactor, external storage, easy to change ring tone, speed etc etc. Beats iPhone for cost effectiveness. Camera is great I can’t find a fault with the phone. I doubt I’ll get another iPhone again due to the ridiculous cost of paying for a name and reputation. Show details

Worst phones on the market. I will never buy another oppo – The worst phone i have ever had or used. Regularly deletes downloads. Fails to open links or web pages on google and i regret not sticking with Samsung. My advice is do not purchasean oppo. Show details
Does not work with Android auto – Does not work with Android auto in kia, Holden and Hyundai. Waste of money. Should have stuck with Samsung. Has issues with notifications Good camera but that's about it. Will never buy it again Show details
Updating to new operating system – This phone seemed fine until one night the screen was locked on an "initializing new operating system" screen. i called OPPO and they asked me to send back to them. 2 weeks later i get the phone back after constant calling. All my contacts and photos are gone, and OPPO dont even off an apology. i would not recommend this service to anyone. Show details

Excellent phone – I purchased this phone outright for around $400 and it's great value for that price point. I can see no advantage or sense in parting with $1000 plus for a phone. The phone has a quick response and even though I have a lot of Apps installed and use it a lot it never lets me down. The fast charger they have with them are fantastic! Show details
Awesome camera phone – Such a great love for the price. Paid just over $500 from an online store and it had a case and screen protector in the box ready to go. Live the expandable memory and the camera quality. I went from iPhone to this phone quite easily however it took a bit of figuring out the new google/ android features and processing system. Highly recommend this phone Show details

Cheap n nasty piece of "tech" – As somebody who has experienced multiple different platforms of mobile phone from Android to Apple I would have to say by far that this offer is the worst cheapest build and most horrendous Lee overpriced hunk of crap I have ever had in my hands the screen quality is sub-par, the processor is utter rubbish, can barely keep up with basic apps, … Read more
most of it's functions do not work as promised night mode does not keep the phone on silent which is a very annoying thing considering I'm a night shift worker and do my best to try not to be disturbed unfortunately this is not the case as on multiple occasions after only a single ring the phone began vibrating and ringing at full volume I would definitely recommend to steer clear from this absolute monstrosity of a brand and phone cheap nasty ridiculously underwhelming on all accounts definitely choose anything over this piece of....rubbish
OPPO - Great Value – Oppo R11, was purchased not knowing what to expect. Surprisingly, Its a packs a lot of punch. Meets my needs. Its durable (Young children have already given it a workout). The slim line makes its a professional fit. Value A+ against the Iphone. A truly recommended purchase, give it a try and you will be presently surprised Show details
Cheap and Simple – This phone I got I been Using since July 8 of 2017 and I been keeping in good condition and sometimes it keep falling of my hand falls to the grow and it still new screen and it doesn't break it already fall of the ground like 16 times within the one year that's The hardware - Like Iphone but cheap and not expensive, For camera quality is 10/10… Read more

Software - soft, fast, and easy, apps are fast loading and battery life is super long that I only charge it like 1 time in two days
Good phone – This phone is perfect for kids of parents with iPhone envy. Don't want to spend $1000+ on the new iPhone but still want to spend money on an-easily-breakable device (like all smart phones these days) for your 14 year old kid? get them an Oppo. It runs like an iPhone while costing you nowhere near the price. This is Oppo's current flagship phone,… Read more
and although it's not as filled with features and perfected characteristics that the Samsung S9 or the iPhone X have, it's still a great phone. The camera is fairly good, the phone has plenty of storage and the screen is big and easy to read. A phone like this can be especially good for someone transitioning from iPhone's iOS to Android.
Cheap but great phone – Bought this OPPO R11 on catch.com Not sure what to expect very surprised really very good The finger print reader is exceptional it fast and accurate Again a real surprise package suits my needs and stops having to pay for phone in contract Meets my needs Cameras are amazing not much of a selfie person but has 16 MP front facing camera even makes me look good Show details
Good phone without be fantastic – I thought I'd use this phone for 6 weeks before doing A review. Bought this phone for $500 as I can't justify spending over a $1000 on a iPhone or a Galaxy. The features and settings are half cross between iPhone and Android set up. I think it's easy to use. The battery life is great can get a full day with solid use out of it. I shouldn't… Read more
charge my phone but I do as I charge it when it's besides my bed.
It's really fast charging if you use there genuine Oppo lead..
The only few faults is finding a good case eg like a otter box or a lifeproof ones is impossible. The phone screen scratches easily ( not bad but is noticeable ) compare to the phones in had.
The volume speaker isn't great as its not loud compare to Nokia 8 if had or the galaxy s6 edge.
Look I like it but I don't love it. Il keep it for 18 months or so, so I can get my value out of it.
Decent phone but pricey – I have the phone and used it for a month or so and currently I'm advertising it for sale while I can get a decent price. The phone ran smoothly with a very nice camera and the 2x zoom was good. I could not work a few things out to do with app management etc but overall it's a decent phone but honestly at the price I could have done better I feel.… Read more
The screen and sound are both very nice aswell and it feels lovely to hold and looks good. The battery life is good enough but the charging is above average. I personally am not a super huge fan but if you like it and buy it then stick it out and add your own customization here and there and I'm sure it's quality will give you a lengthy service and loads of enjoyment.
Delightful surprise – This is a great phone for two reasons: 1. really fast charge (to 80% within 30 min) and 2. impressive camera. Usually going out with friends my photos could never compare with photos taken with my friend's iphone. This is not the case with the R11. My photos were completely compaitable with my mate's new iphone X! I am in love with the bokeh… Read more
effect and this is one of the rare phones where the selfie camera is just as good as the regular one at the back. First time Oppo user and I have to say I'm a convert.
Great value for money – Phone is great value for money. It has good features however it did take a while for me to get used to as im used to androids and it seems to replicate the iphones quite a bit in regards to layout and settings, but once you get the hang of it, it is quite easy to use. Good phone – Its a good phone to buy some features are amazing but lack in quality. The screen brightness is not enough when you are out in daylight. Although the camera quality is good. The images are sharp and depicts quality that it has in its lenses but If have money buy Apple, it projects quality Show details
Oppo R11 Contempory and useful – The R11 is an alternative to the iPhone 8, the R11 is easy to recommend as the performance is good, the camera is really is nice, it’s got a compelling build quality and slick feel-factor. It runs Android and the UI is friendly. It is a good smart phone with a cheap price and its such an easy phone to use. Show details
Good but Potential for improvement – First time user of this mobile, powerfull processor which is handy for multiple tasking , user friendly interface, screen size not bad compared to my older LG phone I was using. The only down side I would say is thebattery as it doesnt last as long as LG phone. All and all a good smart phone with reasonable price. Show details
Android wanting to be an iPhone – The R11 is a decent phone but although it is an Android running system, it really wants to be an iPhone. Coming from a samsung previously there are many things that are different and seemingly not consistent with the normal Android layout and general way things are done. Decent phone otherwise when you get used to the change. Show details
Don't be taken in – I bought oppo r11s three days ago at a videophone shop recommended by a shop assistant. Before that, I used IPhone 6 plus. I never heard of oppo before and thought it is cheaper than IPhone and Sumsone, I bought. Now I am deeply regret for my decision. A few issues with the phone that I can do nothing about it. Firstly, the SMS messages do not… Read more
show on the screen. Every time I received message, I have to unlock my phone to look at the messages. Secondly, the phone automatically block the private number which I don't want to. There are no reminder on the screen for voice message. The battery is flat very quickly. I am surprised that there are no such review on line. All good reviews are worrisome. I will never use oppo again. Sorry that I had a bad choice.
Great Phone for Price – Really happy with this device as it does everything that I need done and has great pics and great feel. The screen is large and clear. It came with a screen protector and cover. No need for additional purchases. I recommend this device as it is almost as good if not better camera then the $1000 plus devices. Show details
Very good compared with old phone – Do not agree that some of the instructions you need to use are written in a pale green. Would not be able to use if I did not have a pair of reading glasses. It means I now have to carry a set of glasses which I did not have to do previously with the smaller Samsung. Show details
Great phone for Parents – Bought this phone for my mom. Big improvement and great screen. Takes wonderful photos and is up to date. Quite a large phone so its great for older people. I like the feel of the phone in my hand, it doesn't feel cheap. Small bezeels on the screen make it look like a high end phone. Show details
Excellent for price value and use – Bought this phone a year ago have always been an iphone user but had a lot of issues. Went oppo and the screen is massive it has excellent battery life and charge it fixes itself with its own virus protection when it thinks its found something. so easy to use, excellent camera too. cant complain you will love. Great Value – This phone looks beautiful, is easy to use and has a great camera. It is also a great price compared to others on the market. Comes with a clear protective case and a screen saver already fitted. I only have slight freezing issues when trying to turn the Bluetooth on sometime. Show details
Has Potential – After having the Oppo R11 for a few months it a great phone. The phone has great camera quality, fast cpu, 4gb of ram and a 3500mAh battery.
